This is my honest review of the resort. Based on Jet2 holidays this seemed the best for value and quality. Was unsure of how the resort would be. We arrived very late and got to our room around d 2:30am . Was driven to our room by the staff and helped with bags. Realised next day why. The resort is huge. Most of the resort is laid out in little bungalows. Accommodation: 3 rooms per block, bungalow style. Modern rooms. Comfy double bed. Small pull out bed for daughter. Enough space for clothes but could do with more drawers. Very limited fridge space. Bathroom was nice. However the main issue was that there is no door to the bathroom or the shower. Fine for a couple but not for a family. Meaning when you all need to use bathrrom/shower and have a teenage daughter it is awkward. Why is there no door to the bathroom or at least a frosted door to the shower like their is for the toilet? On the plus side the rooms were quiet. Due to all been spread out over the resort. Good amount of power sockets available. Facilities: 2 Main pools and shallow splash pool for kids Ok Wifi throughout thr resort Tennis court Bar Evening bar and entertainment Its own beach Free transport across the resort! Did not use any other services. Resturant Kids club. Simple Mini golf Pools: 1 main pool, 1 kids shallow pool, additonal larger and deeper pool near to the evening entertainment and beach. The main pool near reception is good but when pool entertainment is in on you have limited pool space available. Managed to get loungers on all days so no major issue. Dining/drinks: Like most all inclusive resorts we had 3 meals a day. Had a fairly set amount of things each day and some OK changes daily. Sometimes the food could be warmer. Enough choice though. Pizzas were nice, although some days with wholemeal flour, a bid odd. Food could be labelled better, desserts in particular. Basic wine and sangria on tap and the usual soft drinks. Two snack bar areas, one with make your own toasties and ice cream machine. The other with pizza, chips, burgers etc. The snack bar near the other pool needs additional covering as there were too many flies on the burgers etc which are not covered! Were put off trying these. And issues with wasps on the outdoor drink dispensers. Could do with some wasp traps to prevent this. Simple measures could handle this aspect better. Entertainment: Simple crazy golf. Did not use Pool tables, could not use as staff refused to change any money for the pool tables. Not helpful. Evening entertainment was good, mixture of acts per night. Dancing singing etc. Entertainment team were great all week. It was good that the evening entertainment is far away from accommodation. Basic cocktails were not great but the Sparky non-alcoholic variant was very good. Wre are drinking these at home now! We did not indulge too much on alcohol. Beach: The resort has it own beach. Which is quite far away, depending on where your room is. Gets quite busy, good luck getting shelter. Would advise a parsol. As we all got burnt a bit with factor 50. Beach is clean and indulged in a bit of volleyball in 32 degrees heat. Need sandles on the resort and beach due to heat. Water was warm enough to just walk in, limited fish to see though. It's quite a trek from the beach to get to the nearest shops/centre. Taxis are cheap though Last day: Our checkout time was early and flight late, so we were homeless at the hotel for the last day. We could still use all the facilities. However, there was an intense tropical storm for an hour and the staff were funny amount sitting in an area that was taped off. There are limited places to go get shelter. So maybe need to be more accommodating and considerate in these circumstances. Overall Was a good week, facilities ok, rooms quiet. I would recommend the resort. Please sort the bathroom issues

Hotel's Favorite
Just come back from 10 days stay with my husband and 8 years old! Hotel is very clean, everything is newly refurbished. Room isn’t big but adequate ( didn’t have problem drying my hair 🤦🏽‍♀️). We stayed in superior priority location. Hotel set as a big village with reception, main restaurant, snack bar, kids pool and pool with all the day activities on the top of the hill. Tennis court, another brilliant bar with good choice of alcohol, toilets a bit more down. 25m quite pool, day snacks and another bar mid way. Kids day camp, shop, games room, gym, mini golf on a bottom of the hill. Leading to the lovely beach ( never seen it advertised as private by the way) Evening restaurant ( booking day before required) with great sea view. Another bar and toilets ( open all day and easily accessible from the beach). Evening entertainment area. Kids disco and different program for grownups every night. Life band, acrobats, musicals, dancers, casino tables, silence disco on a beach….you name it! We enjoyed it all! Special thank you to Cesar and his team for sport activities and all the hard work they do to keep us busy and entertained every day! You can see all the day/ evening program on Iberostar app, which we find very helpful. Taxi goes up and down all day long from 7:15-23:15 or is 10 min walk. We never had a problem to get a sun lounger by the top pool. I usually put our towels down around 9-9,30am Staff were very friendly and helpful! Food! Oh! Absolutely the best! Including lobsters and other sea food! Hotel is in remote location but we rented a car so wasn’t problem for us at all. You have everything you need in a resort! We have stayed in many hotels across Mallorca for past 10 years and this one is our favourite by far! Is perfect hotel for family holidays! Good quality service, food, drinks and entertainment! Can’t wait to come back next year! Thank you very much Iberostar Cala Domingos!

The place is fantastic, but it's in the middle of nowhere, don't look at the broucher and think your on the beach when you open your balcony door, the beach is a good 20mins walk away, we were told we could use the disabled chair lift for our son to enter the pool, then we were told it wasn't charged but to come again the following day !! The next day still no chair which was still uncharged.. the air conditioning in the room was poor.. D.oakley

We stayed as a family of three last week, and although we have returned home and concluded that an AI holiday is not for us, I wanted to leave a fair review. I have split into categories. ROOMS Our room was very modern and clean. It was a shame to not see a stocked mini bar, but assume this is down to people handling items and not using them. The carafes for water refills at the stations in the grounds make sense. Would've liked some more privacy in the loo and shower area! The decked terraced area was a nice place to sit. A small drying rack would be a good addition in this space. The TV had a great number of channels, not that I watch TV on holiday. FOOD AND DRINK The food on offer was of good standard and fairly varied. The wine and cava was excellent and the cocktails were of a high quality. I did not do lunch in the main restaurant as we stayed by the pool nearest the beach, where you could have pizzas, burgers, nuggets, etc. Also a continental later breakfast of fruit, yogurt and cakes. The coffee was good, I am picky on that front. The beach front restaurant was not worth the hype, it had fewer choices than the main restaurant and was still buffet, its only perk being the views. RECEPTION AND CHECK IN Check in was a bit of a long, drawn out theatrical affair, and we would have welcomed something quicker as we had been up since 3am and our intended coach departed the airport without us, meaning our journey lasted an additional 2 hours. We were told to book the seafront restaurant via an app, which was basically an online messenger conversation with reception, which seemed pointless and the app was slow and not particularly clear. POOLS We found the top pool a lot louder and busier and preferred the pool closest to the beach. We always got sun loungers regardless of when we arrived. The bar team offer cocktails throughout the later part of the morning, they were lovely. If you time it right, you can get a decent swim in without too many bobbers getting in the way. You can rent pool towels for 10Eur and change them daily. The pool towels were of a high quality. CALA DOMINGOS BEACH Stunning, the sea is so clear and beautiful. It is a shared beach and you need to pay for sun loungers. The sea is warm. Worth going up onto the clifftop to get a lovely view on how beautifully blue the sea is. DUCK There is a sweet old duck that sits close by to the bottom pool. I always looked forward to seeing the duck every day. One of the little joys. COVID Although the hotel is clean, quite frankly there are nowhere near enough hand sanitising stations, especially in the restaurants. I know you cannot guarantee people will use them, I would've liked that peace of mind that at least my hands were germ-free before and after using the buffet utensils. We did bring our own, but it would be great to see this aspect being taken a bit more seriously. The utensils did not seem to be replaced at frequent intervals and the drinks pourers did never seem to be cleaned throughout the day. Suffice to say, we all arrived home with COVID. ENTERTAINMENT The entertainment for the most part was enjoyable. In the evening, there were a reasonably good variety of acts (quite a bit of juggling though). I would say that both Across the Universe and Musical Express were excellent. There was also a juggler chap with two lady acrobats - the ladies were incredible. For the hotel ents team, the aqua fit we did and it was quite good fun. I tried pilates at the beach but it wasn't for me. The hotel seems to have a song with a dance and we enjoyed joining in with that.

Stayed with my teenage daughter & we felt safe & could relax here. Lovely ‘vibe’ to hotel, spotless, beautiful environment, excellent food choices despite no a la carte. Attentive friendly staff without being over the top. Good use of app in resort to book restaurant / ask questions. Impressed by environmental policy in practice. Will definitely return.

As I read some of the previous reviews, I became a little hesitant about booking this hotel, primarily for its remote location to Palma and that there was little information about local attractions. Having come back from spending a week with the family , I can safely say that we definitely will be returning back. The location is remote indeed, but I consider that a plus now. It's great for relaxing whilst providing great options to explore the island via renting a car, visiting a waterpark or taking a Catamaran boat trip; all tour information and bookings are provided right at the hotel at the Kiosk by the main reception pool. The bungalows are always clean, the staff is always friendly (special thanks to Domi, Nuria, Nerea, Douglas and Juan). The food is great and can’t say enough about the entertainment. We have a little boy, 3y, and he keeps asking if we seeing are going to see Starkie tonight :). Looking forward to our next stay, definitely recommend this hotel for a family getaway.

We usually stay in 5 star resorts so we have fairly high standards. We wanted a week away not too far from home with our 5 year old and 2 teenage children and picked this hotel based on previous reviews. Although there are some great features in this hotel, it is most definitely 4 star. The resort itself is lovely and I cannot fault the rooms. We were lucky to be a few seconds walk from reception and the kids pool in room 319. For a week the food was okay. If we had stayed any longer, I think we would have got pretty bored as there isn’t a great deal of variety and I find buffets get a bit boring. There is plenty to do and the kids club and entertainment staff work really hard to keep everyone entertained throughout the day, although we found the evening entertainment to be a bit hit and miss. I found the pool area to be a bit grubby with spillages not attended to so floors get a bit dirty and sticky. Overall though, we had a great stay and were really happy with most aspects of the hotel.

We usually stay in 5 star hotels. This is rated 4 star but I can’t fathom why. It’s better than most 5 stars in our opinion. The rooms are lovely - we paid to upgrade to a priority location and were very glad we did as it was perfectly placed near the kids pool. Our room was 345 which had a balcony facing away from the footpaths which felt more private. The staff are amazing. The star camp and entertainment crew are just spectacular - so kind and fun with our 5 year old. There are so many activities going on throughout the day that you’re never bored if you don’t want to be. The serving staff are efficient and friendly. The food is wonderful. The beach restaurant is free and you just need to book using the Iberostar app. It’s lovely having dinner overlooking the sea and right next to the evening entertainment. There’s loads of vegan and veggie choices. The quality of drinks is fantastic too. We’re hoping to return next year

The whole hotel is nice and for the most part clean. The kids pool is great for young children. However during our stay my 3year old son cut his foot quite badly on broken glass next to the childrens play park. We asked for help to on of the entertainment girls and she did nothing. After waiting for a while and trying to clean up his foot as best we could we went to the shop and asked for help there and again nothing was done. After sorting it out myself I went to talk to the manager and he was very rude and I was given no apology about the broken glass or the lack of care from his staff. The two lifeguard boys have the WORST attitude I’ve ever seen. I do want to say that Jesús is a credit to the hotel and want to thank him for how great he was with our children.
