What's not to like about a small, quaint inn dressed in period decor yet stylishly comfortable with a ton of American history attached to it. Doesn't hurt that there is a beautiful winery within walking distance, a fabulous gourmet pizza place and restaurant across the road and a plethora of activities close by. Located just off 29, yet tucked away... More

This is our first stay at a B & B and I wish we booked a 2nd night! The inn is quiet and cozy, clean, and interesting and the innkeepers have been wonderful. Walking distance to Pippin Hill and a short drive from downtown!

The owners have managed to respect the building's history while also providing a very comfortable place to stay. We spent three nights in the Americana Suite, which has a very comfortable king-size bed, an adjacent sitting room and a convenient en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was very good each morning, and the dining room reflects the building's 200-year history. The owners were... More

My husband and I had a lovely weekend at the Inn at the Crossroads. The Inn is beautifully maintained and our room was not only comfortable but also historic because Thomas Jefferson and Martin van Buren had dined in that room together. The owners are great people who can give suggestions on what to do, or just chat about history.... More

My husband & I recently stayed at the Inn at the Crossroads - a very historic B&B on the edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We were going to a wine dinner at the Pippin Hill Winery, which is just up the hill from the B&B and thought it would be a good idea not to drive an hour back... More

Our recent stay at the Inn at the Crossroad was very enjoyable. It turned out to be a great location for visiting Monticello and the some of the many vinyards in the area. Breakfast was served in the historic basement kitchen and was delicous. The inn keepers Jim and Janet were both friendly and informative. Jim's historical knowledge really added... More

This bed-and-breakfast matches all the rave reviews. Top-notch and gracious hosts, beautifully maintained property, and, and, and. I would just like to add, in case I missed seeing it in other reviews, that the authentic 19th century breakfast was elegant, satisfying, and superb in both quantity and quality. Hope to visit again.

Lovely place. Although the 1820 house and beautiful grounds are stars in their own rights here, what makes it a home is the innkeepers: helpful, friendly, caring, and darn good cooks, too! THe old inn is very pleasant, full of history and atmosphere, the views are splendid, location excellent (great food just across the way!) and convenient,. the breakfasts are... More

I found this little gem through a B&B website. It was supposed to be a 1-night side trip from DC so I could visit Monticello. However, we got snowed in during a once-in-a-century storm that dumped 28" of snow in an area that had gotten 2" total snow in the previous 8 years. So we stayed an extra night. But... More
