Last minute trip for hubby & I. Wasn’t disappointed. We went self catering for the first time in a long time and the freedom was brilliant. The Blue Sea resort well set out. Our room 9192 was perfect for our needs. Ground floor, lovely patio area and just beyond that was one of the 3 pools. Would stay here again for sure, although I’d return at the end of the season again as I can imagine this place is crazy during the height of the season.
Have no complaints with this hotel as it was clean and tidy, maids everyday. 4 pools to choose from and a small indoor pool. Evening entertainment was great as well. This hotel is in Cala Egos which is lovely but a bit sleepy for us. The beach was great for a swim and I loved to snorkel with all the fishes. In total a great holiday. We stayed in self service and was really happy with the on camp food that we could eat in or take out, good value as well... Lots of thunder storms and plenty of sunshine as well.
We have stayed in the blue sea martha's hotel on 16th sept for 2 weeks. The place is really clean, staff are really welcoming, and you can be assured of a proper relaxing break. there are 2 coves 3to 5 minutes walk away. (mind you the beach is small and even by law the beach is public, some bar owner has decided to take it all and rent his sun beds there) so I much prefered to stay at the lovely pool in the hotel. there is a show every night, if you re lucky you can watch the show from your balcony. breakfast is really good and the cofee as well with fresh croissants and bread every morning. I have seen a few bad comments about the hotel, but in all honesty it s not like that at all ... true enough there are a few things the hotel can do to make the experience better , like fixing the 2nd lift, or even change the menu a little bit as for exemple have real grated carrots opposed to tined gratted carrots, different fish and ask the chef to never put pineapple flavoured yogourt in a salad ( honestly it does not work). also stop the duck a l orange as it s not great ... that being said , this hotel has a huge potential, it s 40 minutes away from the airport in a taxi (be prepared to pay 80 euro for the trip) the bus maybe less expenssive but hey 2 to 3 hours nahhhh better pay for the taxi. so in fine: would i come back to the blue sea martha hotel ??? YES YES YES defo yes. thank you all at martha;s hotel…
Just got back from an amazing girls holiday. We will definitely be coming back soon! Our rooms were amazing, the food was lovely, and there was plenty to do. The entertainment was amazing and all the staff were lovely. Big shout out to Bruna for organising the amazing entertainment.
Stayed for 5 nights all inclusive, classic all inclusive. Loved it! Very clean, great air conditioner. Good good and drinks! Would like more cocktail offering for all inclusive. Twin beds but didn’t mind! My partner did haha. Bring your own towels! 20 euro deposit and 8 euro charge for a weeks use. Also needed deposit for tv remote. Would deffo come back!!
Great holiday loved the hotel. Everything was perfect the hotel was gorgeous and very clean and all the Staff were really helpful and friendly, bar staff and cleaners worked really hard. Food was so good a great choice of food for everyone. Lots to do in the area as well, boat trips and lovely sandy coves minutes walk away. Evening market on Thursday night was great. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend it.
Had a lovely week here end of August 2022. Blue sea cases D’or is essentially part of the Club Martha resort but is apartment blocks at the back of the complex. You are able to use all the club Martha facilities bar some restaurants which are paying only but you get a discount. The apartments have some basic self catering facilities like a fridge, hob and toaster but limited otherwise supplies. The air conditioning was really good and needed. Can get a bit noisy so take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The all inclusive bar and restaurant are a short walk from the apartments. The food was really good here. Varied options every night and the Chinese night exceptionally good quality. Deserts were good too. All inclusive drinks were good enough. There is plenty of activities to do including a football court, volleyball/tennis court and a basketball hoop. They have waterpolo and other pool activities in one of the other pools. I enjoyed the pool by our apartments the best as it was the biggest and had the most room around it. There isn’t a life guard there but there are some on site at other pools. Sunbeds situation is a free for all. We loved being able to walk out the apartments onto the pool having a ground floor apartment. The entertainment was as you would expect for a family orientated all inclusive but there was something on every night and was ok. Can get busy finding a chair and table. There are some nice restaurants/bars and a local spar close by if you fancy a change. There are two beaches close by and we really liked Cala egos which was good for snorkelling. Take a taxi to Cala mandrago for 10 euros which is also a really nice beach or there are plenty in Cala d’or. Only real things that could be better were the noise at the Evening meal from the mini disco was too loud as the stage is next to the restaurant. The meal times are quite short and the evening meal could be a bit late for some at 8.30 p.m. Would definitely recommend here and would come again.…
I took a short break here on my own using Tesco Vouchers. Good: The resort is pretty and friendly. My second room had a balcony with a lovely pool view. Short walk to the coast along a beautiful cliff path. The Parc De La Mar area doesn't have a lot going on but the walk along the marina to main Cala D'or is worth it with lively restaurants and luxury yachts along route, buzzing in the evenings. Bad: I arrived at the hotel at 7.00 am and was told I could check in at 11.00 so hung about the pool. Went back at 11.00 and was told I couldn't check in till 14.00. When I finally got my room it was awful. Dingey and echoey, stained sticky sofas, broken toilet - wouldn't flush. Inch gap under the door, I could hear every word the staff outside were saying and the walls were thin. I could hear the upstairs occupants arguing, footsteps, wardrobes / drawers opening, suitcases rolling, peeing, all loud and clear. Their waste water tumbled down pipes inside my room. Reception said they had nothing else available for my type of booking, which I can only assume they meant 'Tesco Vouchers'. They told me to go back to my room and wait for a repair man within 30 mins. Waited another hour, no show so went back to reception. This time a new room appeared. Better but still tired décor, stained sofas, broken rusty safe and a shower so tiny the curtain clinged to me. I would go back because the hotel itself is really nice, but upgrade for a nicer room.…
I sit here & type this on our 4th out of 7 nights all inclusive …food 7/10* drinks 10/10 staff 10/10 room 8/10 air con is a godsend especially in late July! yeah there’s only sky tv but I didn’t come on holiday to watch tv. Free WiFi so bring kids tablet or download bbc programmes before you leave! …pools great. Absolutely agree with previous reviews the sun lounger situation is MAD it is what it is. I get up 8am and take one for the team. Sit for 45mins by the pool with a coffee and croissant and yes you have to be a bit “bulchy” if you want a sun lounger for the day. Not my style but it’s no ones style. The hotel should definitely sort out that problem but hey ho. They get unlocked at 9am and you reserve your spot with a towel. Never encountered this at other hotels in Majorca (8th trip here) anyway…for the price I can’t really fault this place however I would say after staying at multiple 4* hotels in the past I’d say this place is more like a solid 3+ my husband is coeliac and there are loads of options for him. Our 5yr old LOVES every minute. Evening entertainment is funny, loud and if it’s not your cuppa tea then the rooms are very sound proof. Last night it was a reptile show, night before that parrot show the kids love it! Would I come back? Hmmmm. Maybe if it was like £100 cheaper??? Great location easy drive from Palma and lovely beaches about however I hate the sand so not interested!!! Ps check out the hotel cat Mariano he’s the best 😻…
