Hotel was fantastic! Staff were very pleasant on arrival, rooms were both spacious and spotless, the pool was nice and the cockerels waking you up in the morning was actually nice! The location is great, shops straight out the front of the hotel, just a short stroll to a fantastic beach and not much further to a busier spot of the resort with a massive choice of restaurants and bars! We would 100% go back to the hotel and the price was an absolute bargain in our eyes.. We normally go for all inclusive but just went for a last minute deal away for a long weekend, self catering was actually alright, there’s fresh baguettes and pastries sold literally just outside the front of the hotel in the Spar shop, so very handy Don’t think the hotel could improve anywhere personally The resort itself was also fantastic, can’t praise the beaches enough, the water was so clear it felt like you were in a swimming pool! We will be back!!…

Would definitely recommend the Azul Gardens for families. We travelled with our 2 kids (2yrs and 11 months) and it was ideal. Great location and slightly removed from the strip so it's nice and quite during the night. Beaches only a few mins walk away and very close to Happy Park (area with large bouncy castle and go karts etc) which the 2yr old loved. Lovely restaurants just outside and a spar shop right across the road. Medical centre and pharmacy just a 3 min walk. Staff really nice and willing to help in any way. Lovely pool and poolside bar/kitchen. We will definitely go back.

Resort itself was great, lots of lovely shops, restaurants, bars, beaches and a marina all very close by. Swimming pool area very clean and well maintained. Our apartments were very clean with a nice view over the swimming pool but they were extremely basic and in need of refurbishment especially the bathroom which was very tired and dated. Although self catering there was no oven in the kitchen so hot meals were not an option and eating out In restaurants when there were 6 of us (2 adults and 4 children) was very expensive and something we were keen to avoid. The major problem though was the noise unfortunately. There were resident cockerels that woke us at 4.30am every day, the walls are paper thin and we we’re surrounded with screaming babies all through the night and outside our apartments (212 + 214) there was a pool table which young lads were playing on (whilst shouting and swearing) until the early hours of the morning ! There were reception staff around at the time but nothing was said unfortunately. Sadly because of the lack of sleep and peace and quiet (which is what we go on holiday for) we won’t be returning.…

Good hotel with a nice location near the sea and friendly staff. However, there was a rooster waking us up most mornings, which was quite unpleasant. Other than that, a good experience, just remember to bring earplugs!

Firstly the staff are friendly and helpful, we felt very welcomed to the resort - one grumpy staff member only that met! The holiday overall was lovely, rooms are very basic (bed are comfy though!) with minimal items for a self catering holiday, so we did eat out every night (naughty!) this added up the cost of our holiday which I try to avoid on self catering holidays. The pool area at Cala Azul Gardens is really nice and clean, being there in April meant it was not busy, no screaming under 1m monsters running about. Pool was rather “nippy” but once in and swimming it was lovely! Life guard on duty also and they also do water arobics if you’d care to join for free. There is also a pool table for 1euro and free table tennis as well as a pool bar that serves food and drink and of course ice cream! We wandered to the Cala Esmarelda Resort which is open to Cala Azul Garden residents however this resort was more crowded and noisy, this is where you find the evening entertainment and the closest coved beach area. There are other little beach areas within 10 minutes walks. Cala Dor it’s self is a short walk from the resort, lots of typical little shops and restaurants, do not be fooled by the map they give you thinking you need a bus to get there! I cannot actually fault the Cala Azul Garden resort, the decor is a bit out dated but you’re really not in there long enough to be bothered by it - maybe one day they will brighten it up. I will say though be prepared to be woken by fire alarms in the evenings/night when the self catering dimwits try to cook toast at 1am! My son found this rather hilarious. …

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel. It is next to all the restaurants and shops and a nice walk to the centre. The beach is gorgeous and the beach bar is lovely. The hotel was very clean. Couldn’t fault it at all. Just a tip - Ensure you put towels in the bath if you want them changing. The maids came in the room to clean but we didn’t realise that we should have put the towels in the bath if we wanted them changing.

This place is great for families, and has beautiful beaches around. There is a mini club for the children with lots of play time and activities, at the same time parents can enjoy themselves doing some yoga classes, going to the gym, exploring or just relax. Lots of shops and restaurants around.

We have a good time. The estate was well managed, and the rooms were large clean and felt new. Lots for the kids to do. Everywhere was in easy walking distance. The food and drink options were good and reasonable.

Had a short break at Azul Gardens in October half term. The whole experience there was great. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Outside areas were well maintained and the pool was cleaned regularly. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Everywhere was a pleasant walk away, with decent/good restaurants a short walk away. Highly recommended.
