Value for money. We did a 10 day holiday and had a fantastic time. No its not perfect but it is a 3* not a 5* so you get what you pay for. There are a few things to point out, good and bad! The grounds are beautify and well maintained. The pool water is slightly salted as is the shower and tap water! just make sure you fill your bottle with fresh water from the bars before you go to bed!. *TIP*..... take insulted water bottles with you! there is fresh cold water freely available at the bars and restaurants. The food is ok, always something to eat. The pizza is DELICIOUS. Breakfast is full of cooked food along with cold meats, cereals and pastries. The animation team are absolutley fabulous, their evening entertainment was brilliant. There was a terrible storm whilst we were there which knocked out the electricty and smashed the door to the restuarant. The staff were fantastic and did their best to keep people calm. This hotel is NOT in Cala D'or as stated on the jet2 booking, it is in fact in Cala Egos which is a small resort just outside cala d'or. There is a small centre with shops, bars and restuarants and 2 lovely little beaches. Personally we prefer to be close to sea front bars and resaurants which this is not and we missed that. You can walk to Cala D'or but it a fair walk in the heat. It is a short taxi or bus ride into cala d'or. We would not go back but i wouldnt put anyone off going as it is perfectly adequate and great value for money.

Dirty rooms, dirty adult pool, poor quality food and limited drinks choice if going all inclusive. This Hotel is not clean and it is not a 3 star hotel,it is not well maintained and the cleaning is not a good standard. This is a French themed hotel and not really suitable for English guests, the staff try thier best to communicate in English but this can be difficult and the entertainment is heavily directed towards the mainly French guests. I have travelled with Jet 2 holidays numerous times and this is the worst hotel I have encountered.....avoid !

Rooms are available from 2pm so when we arrived at 11:30 we had to wait but was able to use the all inclusive facilities straight away. Pools are lovely, adult pool is pretty much silent throughout the day & if your lucky you can get a room leading direct into the pool. The children’s pool is small but enough for my little ones, plenty of sun beds every day. Food wasn’t the greatest, lots of variety but it didn’t taste much different to a previous meal. Not much selection for smaller tummies other than chips & pizza. Rooms are very dated, beds were made daily but I don’t think towels were changed daily just refilled & the room definitely wasn’t clean daily as we had the same hair in the corner from the day we arrived! Not much entertainment for the little children, there was a show each night for the adults. The children’s park had a very rusty & in my opinion dangerous bouncy horse. Other than that there is a slide & 2 swings. Wi-Fi is 30 euro for the week I think, we didn’t use ot Lots of shops & restaurants around the hotel & 2 little beach’s which were nice. Would we return probably not.

My boys and I had 5 days/nights at this hotel and after reading some of the reviews we were very skeptical - there was no need to be and we really couldn't fault it one bit. Arrived at about 11 in the evening was quickly checked in and told that there was food in the restaurant if we were hungry, given it was only continental cold bits and bread but still a nice touch. Room was nice enough, spacious, clean enough (abit of sand on the floor) air con worked well. We found if you put any kind of card in the holder and leave it in then it pretty much stays on all day and night. Shower a little salty but nice enough. cleaners came in daily to make beds and put in fresh towels. We didn't bother with the safe but locked everything away in our case. Food really good, for all inclusive yes it does get very samey but there was plenty of choice and it was fresh and tasty, there was themed nights and show cooking (eggs, pancakes, chicken, fish etc) We never struggled to find something we liked. The only little down side in the restaurant was that there was one toaster which you'd have to queue up to use for breakfast but we managed it and I wouldn't down rate it for that! Throughout the day the snack bar was open for burgers, hot dogs and crepes and fruit and pastries, drinks were good enough for us - help your self to beer, water on tap, hot drinks machine, juices and fizzy pops. Entertainment around the pool was also very good, the team did water aerobics and various other things through out the day and then put on shows in the evening, again all very good. The only thing I would say is that the hotel caters for the French, there is alot of French spoken by the staff however they also said most things in English and Spanish, there were a few English families and none of us felt left out or that it was a problem. Its a big hotel and was quite busy but you never struggled to find a table to sit at for your meals and there was always plenty of sunbeds and seating around the pools. The pools were lovely, there are shops and a couple of bars outside and a beach 5 mins one way and another 10 mins the other way. The internet that you can pay for is abit hit and miss in places, as the hotels big we couldn't get it in our room but the kids just hot spotted from mine. Personally I would say pay the extra on your phone bill if you can rather that paying their price for it if you want to be on the internet alot. On check out day we had to check out by 12 but we checked out after breakfast, the AI band stayed on and we put our cases inside a little room for safe keeping and enjoyed the rest of the day around the pool, You can still use all facilities until you leave and they even gave us a key to a spare room to shower and get ready before we left. All in all the staff work had and the hotel its self is really nice for a 3star we really couldn't complain about anything and would happily go back!

I wanted to enjoy our stay at Palia Dolce Farniente, but was sadly disappointed on several fronts. Firstly, the hotel only offers an all-inclusive option, which we found lacking in variety. The menu was dominated by fast food-like choices - think pizza and fries. Not what we expected from a Mallorcan experience. Moreover, hygiene standards left much to be desired. I was taken aback to see guests handling food directly with their hands at the buffet. We also decided to purchase the hotel's beach towels for 7 euros with a 10 euro deposit each. However, don’t assume you can exchange them daily. Given how extensively they're used over the day, a daily change would have been appreciated. Lastly, the bed quality was subpar, with visible stains that were hard to ignore. The elongated pillows provided were uncomfortable and our request to replace them was not heeded. Overall, a disappointing stay that did not meet our expectations.

They list wifi as one of their bonuses, it’s €30 for a week. The pools are a nice temperature but slightly salty. My biggest issue was the showers that had salt water, taps and showers were mainly salt water, especially in the showers it was not enjoyable. Food is very repetitive and cleaners can be rude if still in room when they come into clean. Bitten multiple times in my sleep by bugs and have a massive lump on side of head from one of them. Overall I think it’s a good hotel, however if you’re looking for a really enjoyable experience this isn’t the place. It’s rating of 3 stars described it well.

Just returned from a week’s holiday with the family here, The room we stayed in was very spacious for the four of us and beds very comfortable. The main language spoken here is French but all the staff make the effort to speak your language once they know your nationality. All the staff at this hotel work so hard and are there from early hours of the morning until late at night. The animation team are amazing they have a fabulous children’s club and lots of activities all day every day for everyone to take part in keeping your holiday fun. Everyday you are greeted with a smile although they work very long hours that smile is still there 15+ hours later. Tata and the team put a fantastic show on every night and would like to thank them all for making our holiday fun with all the activities and a very memorable one. We will definitely be returning. Thanks hotel Palia Dolce Farniente for an amazing holiday.

Best holiday ever, went just myself and 20 year old daughter, lovely hotel and grounds, all staff wonderful, think we was only English there, but it didn't bother us at all as everyone friendly. Food and drinks lovely, plenty of options, nice cocktails. Best entertainment I've ever seen, dancers outstanding, loved the white night with all the glitter, Already looking to see if we can go again, wish we could have stayed longer, even thought about extending our holiday. We would go back tomorrow if we could.

Booked to go very last minute by myself and could not have been happier. The hotel was lovely. Beautiful gardens and so peaceful near the adult pool. Plenty of hot food constantly being replenished. The staff were all really helpful and friendly. My room was ideal. Simple but clean. Drinks were good. A tip would be to take a water bottle for fresh water from taps. Will 100% go back. In fact I can’t wait!!
