Hotel Atolon is celebrated for its prime seaside location, offering guests easy access to beaches, shops, and restaurants, complemented by picturesque views. While the rooms may be on the smaller side, an upgrade can yield stunning sea vistas. Guests often enjoy the hotel's lively atmosphere and quality evening entertainment, although it can get noisy. The staff receives accolades for their friendliness and helpfulness, even if service can lag during peak times. Despite some concerns over value and occasional cleanliness issues, the amenities, including the pool and dining options, are generally well-regarded.

We have just returned from our stay at Hotel Atolon, our first holiday with our 4 month old baby and we are so pleased that this is where we chose for our first family holiday! This hotel is exactly as the description and photographs show it.

The hotel is in a good location, close to a range of restaurants and shops with the beach being just a few minutes walk away. The whole area is flat which makes it perfect for anyone with a pushchair, wheelchair etc.

The rooms are clean and modern, with a nice balcony area (many with at least a side sea view) and a small fridge to keep drinks cold. Air conditioning and wifi were also included without extra charge. Yes, travelling with little ones can make the room seem on the small side but this is due to the amount of luggage not the fact the rooms are any smaller than other hotels! We were also able to keep our room on our day of departure for just €20 which was a life saver with a little one and the heat with such a late departure time.

The hotel has fantastic views from the pool area overlooking the sea. There is a small children’s splash pool separate from the big pool. As some reviews mention there are no fancy features to this but the children we saw there didn’t seem to mind! There were always sunbeds available, no morning rush which you find at so many other hotels, and plenty of shade available, especially in the afternoon.

The restaurant served a wide variety of foods for breakfast and evening meals. We were there for 11 nights and we didn’t see any repetition of meals in the evening. There was always something being cooked fresh and staff available to talk though ingredients and allergens. I have a gluten allergy and I had no problems eating here whatsoever.

We couldn’t have met a friendlier group of people in the staff at the hotel and the other guests, many of which return year after year and we can see why. A special thank you to Rebecca for making our first holiday go so smoothly (from our first email to you, before we even arrived) and for arranging private transfers to and from the airport to reduce the transfer time down to just over an hour (the Jet2 transfers we’re taking over two hours!). We had an amazing holiday and wouldn’t hesitate to come back on future holidays.

Hotel Atolon is stylish, contemporary and spotlessly clean.

At night live entertainment from 9-11:30pm, which is outdoors and the loudest in the area. You can still hear it half way around the bay, entertainment at other hotels and bars is really very quiet in comparison. Closing balcony doors makes no difference. This entertainment is always really popular though, with ladies on the tiny dance floor and always an encore. There’s no hope of an early night if you have a day out planned the next day.

Food is top notch, with chefs creating individual fresh dishes plus hot and cold buffet. My fussiest son has eaten a variety of food. Great variety and beautifully cooked.

Rooms are small with very limited storage (think travelodge size). 3 shelves, 12 coat hangers in total. One bedside cabinet with two drawers (for some reason the other side is a table with no storage).

Fridge is great, kettle and hairdryer also in room.

Staff are friendly and efficient.

Cleaning staff will clean room daily and make (not change) beds if you leave a hanger on your door.

Pool area is beautiful with views out across the ocean. No inflatables allowed in the pool which was an issue for kids.

Brilliant location, between Cala Bona and Cala Millor, both 10 mins walk.

Overall a great hotel if the entertainment wasn’t played at such high volume.

Nb: trip advisor doesn’t seem to allow videos or I’d attach for reference.

We stayed here as a family of four for a week; 2 adults and 2 teens. We booked two rooms and were allocated rooms on the top floor; a side sea view and front sea view. The rooms have good air conditioning, are compact but modern, very clean and perfect for the amount of time you spend in them. The accommodation block is separate to the hotel reception/dining room/pool area; this isn’t an inconvenience at all and access to the accommodation block is only possible with your room key. No security concerns at all.

The hotel decor is a modern, scandi vibe and very clean. Staff are friendly, polite and work very hard.

Breakfast was excellent; from freshly cooked Danish pastries to a full English, pancakes, omelettes, various fruit salads and yoghurts.

Evening meal was also excellent; fresh food cooked to order and a buffet style choice too. The freshly cooked stir fry’s were delicious!

The pool area and sea views are amazing and did not disappoint; sun beds are plentiful and there’s no need to reserve beds.

The evening entertainment provided by the hotel was first class, very professional tribute bands - take that, mowtown, jersey boys, Abba. A lot of non residents do come to the hotel to watch the shows, the bar area does get busy but the bar staff and waiters work very hard and have an efficient system to serve everyone. It’s a lovely atmosphere.

The hotel is situated in an ideal position between the restaurants, shops and harbour of Cala Bona (5 min walk) or in the opposite direction, Cala Millor (5-10 min) for the beach and more restaurants and shops. Cala Bona is the quieter of the two resorts and we enjoyed evening drinks over looking the harbour.

I did a lot of research before booking to find the right hotel and it was perfect for our needs. we wanted a relaxing week of sunshine with sea views and good food and we were not disappointed.

We hired bikes and found a beautiful cove to swim, Cala Morlanda, just north of S’illot, we used the buses to visit Porto Cristo and went to Son Severa on market day. We swam in the sea in the cove of Cala Bona, access off the jetty, and the beach in Cala Millor is really lovely.

I’m so pleased we booked this holiday, we would definitely return. It is a great hotel and the first time we’ve stayed in a smaller, boutique hotel as a family. We would recommend without hesitation.

My husband and I recently returned from a five night break at Atolon. We took the option of half board which was excellent.

The room was well equipped with a fridge, kettle and cups. We had twin beds but after a quick call to reception it was changed to double with a mattress on top. Quite comfortable. The room was cleaned daily to a good standard with fresh towels. There is a safe in the room which requires a small deposit.

The breakfast was excellent. It had everything you could think of. Dinner was amazing. Really enjoyed all the salads and hot buffet and also fish and meat cooked to order.

The entertainment was various tribute bands. Most were enjoyable and outside with a lovely vista.

The pool was lovely and clean and there were enough sunbeds to go around. Towels can be obtained by paying a 20 Euros deposit.

The service from the staff was excellent. Even when there was a packed audience watching the bands, they managed to serve everyone. They had a very good system in place.

A mention for Rebecca on reception. She arranged for a car to collect us from the airport and drop us back for return journey home. We were early for our car when departing home and Rebecca asked if we wanted to have a meal in the restaurant. We were very impressed with her kindness and she was very helpful.

An enjoyable break and we will return.

My husband and I spent a week here 8th-15th July, a front sea view room and what spectacular views, the hotel is situated perfectly with plenty restaurants and bars either side of it., looking right out to the Mediterranean. The hotel is very modern and bright, all areas were extremely clean, from rooms to pool area, the staff were all amazing from reception, restaurant and bar staff all very friendly and helpful. Plenty of sun loungers and good entertainment outside every evening. I have a severe allergy to gluten and this was our first time abroad with this condition so I was very nervous about the food, once I explained this, the owner Mitah (apologies if spelt incorrectly) was on hand every night making sure the show cooking chef, Carlos, cleaned the wok before cooking my food, the food was excellent, always lots to choose from, gluten free bread, cereals and cakes at breakfast also, nothing was a problem for any of the staff, I would highly recommend this hotel especially if you have food allergies, we will definitely be returning next year, the owners run a very good hotel, huge thanks to all the staff who work very hard and especially Mitah and Carlos, thank you so much.

We came here after a small tour of the island, staying elsewhere. We did stay at the Atalon last year.

No one can complain about the pricing for half board here. The food is amazing - breakfast and dinner. A good selection of starters, mains, puddings, ( including salad and fruit).

The staff are very hardworking and pleasant and serve you with a smile. At the tribute band event, every night, there is a shortage of staff. The staff are running round trying to keep everyone happy and serve them as quickly as they can.

The guests staying at the hotel are very friendly.

The pool is right by the sea and is a pleasure to sit at. There are plenty of sunbeds to go around. Some people reserve them with towels, but these are in the prime positions. The pool and sunbeds are thoroughly cleaned every morning and it is kept spotless down there.

The negatives for us were….. small room, two small drawers and a small hanging space. Our bathroom door couldn’t open properly; the door only opened as far as the start of the shower. It needs planing. The towels were very small and had seen better days. We asked for a double bed but ours were two singles pushed together. Also we had a yellow stain on our bedding, but this was dealt with promptly. The rooms were cleaned to a good standard.

If these negatives were put right we would definitely return as outside of the room, Atalon was a magical place.

This hotel has the best view in Cala Bona according to me.
Right on the rocks it's a modern hotel with white clean lines on the edge of the ocean
Has a certain class with staff of quality to match its style.
Worth a visit to if you're coming to the east of Mallorca for your hard earned holiday.

Such a brilliant hotel and we would definitely stay again! We have not long returned after a weeks stay and we had the best time.

Perfect location, right on the sea, very close walking distance to the beach and lots of shops and restaurants.

Every staff member is so friendly and goes above and beyond. The hotel and rooms are spotless and the buffet restaurant is filled with fresh, homemade dishes with great variety each day. We had breakfast and dinner here most nights and it was brilliant.

The pool area is amazing, and it was never difficult to get loungers in the morning. The added bonus of the sea view and the sound of the waves makes it the perfect place to relax.

Me and my boyfriend arrived here after having a horrific experience at another hotel so we needed to find somewhere else to stay. The reception staff and management couldn’t have been more helpful and kind, and moved a few things around to make sure they had a room for us.

We couldn’t have been luckier as we spent the first night in one of their suites, that comes with your own private terrace and sun loungers and is the perfect place to watch the sunrise.

We were then moved into our room for the remainder of the week, which was a sea view room with perfect views of the sea and nighttime entertainment, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We couldn’t fault the room as it was spotless and had everything you needed including a fridge and a kettle.

Thank you so much everyone at Hotel Atolon for giving us the best stay. We will be back!

Just vacated this hotel. The hotel itself was spotless. Staff were very friendly. Food was tasty although not a huge choice. Most is cooked fresh to order so it's nice and hot. Couple of small negatives themat dropped a star. Our room cleaner did not replace the dirty cups once through the whole week and the towels were only changed once. The rooms are advertised as coffee making facilities but it is only 2 cups a spoon and a kettle. You have to buy your own coffee etc. Other than those small issues I would recommend

First of all great clean hotel. 4th visit here but will be the last sadly.yes the rooms are tiny. But for the money you pay no tea or coffee in the rooms which you get in less expensive hotels.the pool area is great but noticed on several occasions the management were checking the pool sides as it was filthy on one side. Food is good . But for me guests should have some priority to getting a seat for the entertainment. Because the owners want people of the street more than there paying guests.in my opinion your just paying for a veiw at this hotel. If you want to see how a hotel treats it's guests try hotel cala bona. Or hotel grand sol we stayed here in may far superior to the stolon . And the atolon price increase on drinks and food is shocking

Good morning L311ZIIeeh, We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay with us as much as your previous ones. Just to clarify some points for future guests: - We have never provided tea and coffee, just the facilities to make it (kettle, cups and spoons), and is clearly stated on Jet2 website description. - The pool sides are cleaned 3 times a day and checked constantly. The reason for this is because many guests don't rinse in the shower before entering the pool, and all sun protection lotions make the side look slightly yellow. - Prices on drinks and food have been slightly adjusted according to the inflation (as they have been everywhere). Kind regards, Rebecca

They are using the entertainment area for a beach club and a la carte restaurant which hotel guests have to pay for. We don’t stay there but have always gone to the evening shows. Seems like a very odd strategy. Time will tell….
