My girlfriend and I stayed 5 nights with breakfast and dinner in this nice hotel. From the beginning the staff was very helpful and if we had some issues with the flights and the day of check in, Jaime, the hotel manager helped us with everything. The room was pretty nice, with a huge terrace balcony looking straight to the beach. The only thing that bothered a bit was that the toilet didn't have doors. Everything else was great! About the food, not Michelin star but they'll make sure that you are never hungry. The breakfast was buffet and you have a big selection of food to choose from. Dinner was a bit different, you couldn't really choose, but you had 1st, 2nd and desserts. Though, drinks were not included. I was very surprised that this hotel had only one star - definitely missing one or two. Nice experience, the service was amazing and staff was always helpful with everything you needed. Would definitely come back here any time and I recommend you guys try this place, will not be disappointed!

My friend and I have just returned from a three night break in Can Picafort, when we stayed at Galaxia. We booked the hotel through Travel Republic and it was a total bargain. I wouldn’t usually choose a 1 star hotel but I have to say, this place is a little gem. Our room (107) was clean and modern, on the first floor. It wasn’t huge but had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed, flat screen TV with a few English channels, a massive balcony with a table and chairs and well appointed shower room with complimentary shower gel, moisturisers and even toothbrushes and toothpaste. The pool area was lovely and both days my friend and I had it to ourselves - not sure what it would be like in Summer, as there were only about 20 loungers (good quality, wooden ones!), but the beach is literally a stones throw away. Breakfast was mostly continental - cereals, pastries, loads of lovely fresh breads to choose from, cheeses, continental meats etc. There was some hot food - bacon, eggs, beans etc. but I can’t comment on that as I didn’t try it. The staff we encountered were all friendly and welcoming and very hard working. I would definitely return to the Galaxia.

After arrival, check-in was quick and easy. I did see a coackroach at the reception which scared me, luckily there were none in our room. Plus you could smell the bug spray not just in the hotel but in all the places around Can Picafort, so I think it's not just this hotel's problem. Bit of dust here and there in the room upon arrival but nothing major. Walls in the bathroom needed to be cleaned and re-painted. Toilet was running a little the whole time, seemed like a waste of water. The elevator was very old and made weird noises but better than no elevator! No air-con and a fan was offered for a surcharge. Wifi did not really work in the room (5th floor) but we didn't need it. The weirdest thing was that there was no door for the bathroom - I travelled with my mother so we did not mind that much but I do not understand why there was no door or at least some curtain, which both could've been easily installed there. Onto the positives - we had an amazing view of the sea and town, the hotel is just a few steps from a great sandy beach with clear water and shops and restaurants. The staff was very polite and nice, cleaning service was daily and very good. The beds were comfy and there were complimentary toiletries in the bathroom, as well as towels. Breakfast was DELICIOUS although it could be switched up a little every day as we had the same selection the whole stay and definitely could use more fruits and vegetables. I would definitely stay here again as the price was reasonable for the service delivered!

Stayed at this hotel for one night and couldn't fault a thing as the staff were extremely helpful the room was modern and spotless ,we had a sea view as requested and although a little strange that the bathroom had no door but was in a alcove not particularly a problem as I sent my partner onto the balcony when I needed a number 2 'which we found rather amusing , the rooms admittedly didn't have air con but for 2 euros a day and a small deposit you could hire a very efficient fan and had a lovely cool nights sleep , location wise and everything else considered we would definitely return,

Stayed at Galaxia for 4 nights pleasant surprise, read previous reviews but we were happy with the location practically on the beach and in the centre of bars and restaurants. The hotel is clean tidy and above a 1star rating. Only downside is that it is mostly set up for German tourists but that didn't bother us .We will definitely go back .
