Dont let the bad reviews put you off if you're looking for a good family holiday. We booked this hotel as we got a good deal on it, and i must admit, after we had booked and i read the reviews and i was apprehensive. But i shouldn't have been. It was great. yes everyone comments the same about the rooms and decor being old fashioned and dated, but if anything it made me feel nostalgic to the holidays i had as a child. The beds were super comfy. It could do with a new bathroom suite but it worked just fine and did everything we needed it to. We had a top floor (third floor) room with balcony which was lovely. Ideally could have done with a ground floor for the kids, but there are lifts for the strollers etc, so not a problem. We went as a party of 6, including 2 under 5yr olds. They absolutely loved it. The staff are fab with the kids. Everyone from the bar staff, the waiters, chefs to the cleaners and the entertainment staff we just brilliant with us and the kids. The staff really make this place and are so efficient. The kids disco on an evening was great for the children and during the day there is lots to do, but we mainly played in the pool. There is a small childrens pool area too with slides. The food was always lovely. Didnt have a bad meal once, and the drinks were fab. We went all inclusive so it was great for the children to try stuff they might not normally eat at home. The pool was freezing, but that's out of anyone's hands, but it didnt stop us having fun in it. Its a lovely walk down into the town of Can picafort with lots of lovely shops and bars and restaurants. there is a cute train from right outside the hotel that takes you down to the town too. i would recommend that for tired little legs. Its a great place for families. Not sure i would have gone there for a relaxing couples holiday, as its really geared up for families, but it is exactly what we wanted.

From the minute we arrived we loved it. All staff were friendly, “Joey” on the bar at night time, the lady who works the pool bar in the day couldn’t do enough for us, they loved the kids and would go out of their way to talk to them, the lifeguard on the pool was lovely too. Staff on reception and also in the restaurant were so helpful and attentive. The mini club and mini disco boys were just amazing Alessio and Angel were brilliant with the kids and so interactive with families, and crikey Mikey who oversaw all entertainment was awesome! They made our holiday so special and we thank them all for a great week!

Just got back from a 7 night stay as a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 kids aged 3 and 7. Perfect family holiday. Food was spot on and very tasty - didn’t always look the most appealing but it was always delicious and hot! Which isn’t common with all inclusive food! The biggest gripe was very poor signage on food - some things had no signs at all. Kids disco on a night was great and my kids both loved it and felt very involved by the team. Rooms may look a little dated but cleaned thoroughly every day by lovely cleaners. Pool freezing but lovey! We will be booking up again

Just finished 10 days at this all inclusive resort and couldn’t be happier with it. The place is generally clean (toilets noticeably deteriorate during the day), food is fresh and varied, and the facilities good. The staff are all friendly but special mention to the entertainment team (Mike, Casper & Julian) who really made sure our 3 kids had a great time.

Not a 4 star and should be a 3 at best. If you are booking for a relaxing spa - don’t! There was no monitoring of this facility and it was constantly over run with unsupervised kids with inflatables, water pistols and anything they could use to soak everything. The sauna was “out of order” which was probably a good thing as the area was not staffed so the kids from the adjacent spa couldn’t hurt themselves. The outdoor pool is not heated, so maybe this is the reason the spa was being used as a kids play area! The games room is not as pictured. No video games with TVs, just a few arcade machines. As per other reviews, rooms are outdated. The over the bath showers were temperamental and hot water became cold very quickly. Not a great choice of food, but was edible. On the plus side, the bar and restaurant staff all worked very hard and were friendly in the main and the entertainment team clearly enjoyed their work. Unfortunately, their efforts were let down by poor management of the hotel meaning facilities could not be used.

The food & hotel in general was ok. The 'entertainment' was very poor. The most annoying part of the holiday was 'repairs' to the main pool towards the end of our stay. The pool surface was made using 25mm square tiles & various damaged sections had been 'repaired' by using a silicon type of adhesive. No warning signs were placed anywhere so lots of people, including us, had swimwear, which we handed over to reception, was damaged beyond repair. Despite complaining to the management there and several unanswered emails since we returned, no apology or anything has materialised. So be aware if you get any problems there.

This place was very much a dissapointment. Be warned that the ratings it receives are mainly because it has a Spa, and even this is not of a great standard. In a nut shell: - The hotel rooms are extremely dated (1970's) and not up to a clean modern standard. - Beds are uncomfortable, broken, and we had no mattress protectors. - Many signs of dirty rooms, stains on curtains, smelly bathrooms, poor air conditioning. - Every day you see the handy men / grounds people patching things up / mending things. It seems to be a daily case that something needs repairing. The grounds when you arrive look nice and well kept, but once you look closer you start to see the problems. The sun loungers for example are disgusting and mouldy. Dirty drinks and cigarettes everywhere. The indoor pool is very very stuffy and stinks of chlorine. - Uneven flooring and exposed slabs make walking and trip hazards very likely. My son fell twice on the uneven floors. - Timings did not seem to exist despite signs saying when activities were taking place. We would be waiting for an activity such as Aqua Aerobics to start and 45 minutes later it had not even started. - Childrens activities were way too late. Mini disco went on far too long so once the main entertainment started it was too late for children. - Entertainertainment was poor. Music every night. No magic shows, or other variety shows. - Complete lack of any No smoking enforcement. You will be surrounded by smokers sitting anywhere on site. We had to move constantly to get out of the smoke. If you are a Non Smoker who hates smoking then you will find yourself surrounded by smoke. - Food choices were poor. Very basic dishes with no real structure or imagination. Desserts tasted average at best. Poor quality. I do have to mention one or two good points..... The life guards were briliant and were always on it by the pool. The staff were always cheerfull and ready to help, the bar staff were kind and welcoming. Would I go back there? No. Too many bad points. The place needs a complete re-fresh.

We’ve just spent 10 days at this hotel. The hotel is situated abit further out but 10 mins walk to a beautiful little beach and about 15 mins to the main resort. We enjoyed the walks as there’s so much to see and do in Can Picafort. Transfer was about 1hr 45 mins which we knew about when we booked. Hotel itself is well presented. Our room was plenty big enough. It was dated but that didn’t bother us. Hot showers and comfy beds. Cleaning was ok but areas needed abit more of a deep clean (stains on curtains, sofas etc). The safe was 3.50 a day which we thought was quite abit and we were given the wrong key for our safe initially so had to wait quite a while for the maintenance staff to come and sort it out. No pans or cooking facilities in the room so you have to ask for these in reception. No kettle either but we used a pan which worked fine on the hob. Pool area is lovely with lots of sun beds - we never had any problems getting a sunbed at any time of day which was refreshing. Hotel is predominantly German but entertainment is in English as well. We didn’t reckon much to the entertainment. Every afternoon was the same - water polo followed by football. Nothing any different. Our daughter is 14 and there wasn’t anything for her. Evening entertainment was ok - one night there was bingo and the man was calling numbers from behind a curtain - it was abysmal. We swiftly left! We noticed that the floor around the outside entertainment was really slippy. A lot of people were falling over. My husband fell and hit his head - this needs looking into immediately as it’s very dangerous. Drinks were great and we found the food fine. There was always something. We all enjoyed the fresh pasta and there was always plenty of salads and fresh food. They have a massive fly problem in the restaurant and there were loads of flies around the food which wasn’t very nice. The snack bar throughout the day was excellent and very popular - probably the best snack bar we’ve seen! ALL of the staff were so friendly. Never been to a hotel before where everyone is so nice. The bar staff and waiting staff were always smiling and chatty - made a refreshing change. I think everyone we spoke to had the same issue with the hotel as us - mosquitos!! They have a major issue with them and they’re everywhere! From the moment you wake up in the morning and all through the night - you can’t escape them. We couldn’t sit on our balcony or open any of our patio doors as they soon invaded our room! Round the pool, we saw almost everyone covered in mosquito bites and they’re constantly biting you. We did buy some spray which did help but we had to constantly put it on throughout the day!
