My friend and I had a wonderful 4 night break at this hotel. The hotel is literally on the beach, for location to beach, shops etc it’s superb. Pay the extra and book the sea view rooms, it’s breath taking when you walk out on the balcony you won’t be disappointed. Positives (apart from location) The staff, all super friendly and attentive The breakfast selection, very good, something to suit everyone Clean towels and room service everyday Relaxed and chilled vibe of the hotel Negatives Rooms a little dated, and aircon not brilliant (please don’t let this put you off though) We couldn’t have a late checkout, there is a shower room downstairs, but not particularly clean. Other than that I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed for 6 days here...right on seafront. Close to everything. We chose a sea view but hadn't realised no sun on the balcony so if you love the sun choose a side sea view. Room was fine, cleaned daily. Bathroom was compact but clean..we had major issue with shower as it was not the correct shower head and shot water off end of the bath which also had no shower curtain at the end ! So we had many wet towels and soaking floors.We complained many times and were promised maintenence would sort....didn't happen. It was even written in maintenance log to register complaint ! So this was a big issue to us..we had to hold curtain across as each of us showered!! But all in all, this was a lovely hotel and if they had sorted this bathroom problem it would be a 5* review.. staff were very pleasant.. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice..

The personel was very nice and perceiving, basically any need we had even if it was a bit nonstandard (late dinner or soon breakfast) want problem to fulfill. Also the view was perfect. Furniture was a bit older but still great to 3 star hotel 🙂

Absolutely disgusted with the room. Shower leaks into the room. Have told reception. Nothing done. Air con worked for the first 4 nights. Hasn’t worked for last two. Told reception. Engineer looked today. Nothing they can do. Maybe tomorrow. Surprise surprise no other rooms to be had and they have how many hotels here. Really bad customer service.

My stay from start to finish was fabulous. This is a 3 star hotel and suited that perfectly. I had a single room and asked before hand for a sea view room which they advised all the single rooms were internal and I could book a double room if I wanted that. However, I was put in room 518, top floor and couldn't have been put in a better room. It is most definitely (a side) sea view room even from the smallest balcony in the entire world. The room was cleaned every day and definitely an adequate size for a single traveller. The hotel is 20steps from the beach and in the absolute prime location. Everyone from reception staff, bar staff to every person in the restaurant was helpful and kind. They never leave you waiting for a drink and clear your table very quickly. The food on offer reflects the star rating and price. My favourite was the night they had pork ribs. The roasted veg is to die for. Everything available for breakfast and eating outside over looking the sea is a fantastic start to the day. I didn't stay any evening for the entertainment so cannot comment on that. This is my second time in can picafort and only won't come back because of lack of things to do (I don't do water sports or excursions etc) and travelled into alcudia for the market (all the same stuff as can picafort market) but would definitely travel to another part of majorca. Weather was 36 37 all week. My only single complaint was my coach excursion which was longer than the flight at over 2 hours !! If you can get a private transfer then absolutely recommend that.

Good location and view. Fantastic food and good atmosphere at the evenings. Minus: Bathroom needs to be renovated, cleaner forgot to lock our door so our room was opened the whole day. Poor Internet, when I informed about problem I got answer:"Nobody has complained, we can not help you....".

JS Can Picafort was the second JS hotel I had stayed in while visiting Mallorca. While not as good as the first one (JS Cape Colom), it still lived u to the JS high standards for quality. With both hotels, the stand-out quality was the staff. They were always friendly, kind and helpful, and an absolute delight to be about. They all worked very hard and did everything they could to help each and every guest. The room was adequate, quite large with a decent size bathroom, and semi water views. The internet was terrible, making working difficult. I spent a lot of time sitting in the lobby working, but even there the internet would drop out constantly. The gym was located in a nearby JS hotel, and had one machine, on bike and fe weights (with some missing). The ceiling was really low, meaning doing work over my head was impossible. I did not use this gym. The biggest negative issue was the meals. The meal times were separated into shifts, as the dinging room was small, and catered for 2 JS hotels. I was on the late shift for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast generally wasn't an issue, but several times at dinner the food would be congealed in the trays, or had run out. This was a very inadequate situation, when I had paid the same as everyone else. Also, at JS Cape Colom, tea. coffee and water were available all day. At JS Can Picafort, this was only available at breakfast time. You had to pay for it at all other times. Still, I would definitely stay here again, or another JS hotel. They know what they're doing, and as I said, the staff are amazing!

A great place to enjoy the beach, sun and warm Mediterranean sea. The hotel was good. Friendly staff and very clean. The hotel has beautiful views. We did not eat at the hotel as we like to get out and about and ca'n picafort has loads of places to eat, throughout the day and night.

I booked this hotel online and chose it as it was frontline to the beach and promenade. Now as a single traveller, I was not expecting a premium sea view but I did not expect what I got. I was given an internal room with a patio window that was half the size of the other rooms and that looked out on to a wall. This made the room very dark even in the middle of the day. If you stepped out on to the parcel shelf that they called a balcony and turned 90 degrees you were confronted with your view..... a dozen other balconies inside the atrium before the outside. It was not a place you would want to sit outside on and relax with a book or glass of wine. You definitely couldn’t sit in the sun as there wasn’t any coming in. I asked at reception about upgrading or changing to another room and was told that it was not possible as all the single rooms were like that. If that had been advertised in the website then I definitely would not have booked this hotel. To add insult to injury I received an email from the hotel with a survey asking if there was anything they could do to improve my stay. I replied and was told that management would be in touch if necessary, they obviously did not think it was necessary as I received no acknowledgment let alone contact from the management. Another annoyance was that I booked a double room for single use but was given a twin room. Although the beds were pushed together they were still made up as two singles. The room was cleaned daily and towels changed if put in the bath. I was there a week and although the bed was made every day, the sheets were not changed which I would have expected at least once. Neither were the toiletries replenished. Overall a disappointing experience.
