We stayed here in July 23 on an all inclusive basis and had a great time. Check in process was smooth and very quick with no queue. All areas of the hotel were very clean and well maintained. The pool areas were great and the pool/s great for children of all ages and adults. Breakfast and dinner were very busy but the staff worked hard to ensure everyone was catered for and the food offering was good. Snack bar selection at the pool during lunch was great. The bar staff were fantastic and always happy and polite and worked hard all day. There was a queing system in the bar which worked well and everyone got served in order quickly and efficiently. The rooftop bar was a fantastic place to relax with a drink. The night time entertainment was fun and the animation team worked really hard to ensure everyone enjoyed it. The animation team and kids club were also great during the day and our daughter loved doing various activities with them. We had a room on the first floor and whilst some people had issues waiting on lifts at busy times we never an issue as we always used the stairs. All in all we throughly enjoyed it on basis of the facilities, the service and great staff. Would recommend it.

Great holiday at a lovely hotel. Quick and friendly check in, large, bright, clean room with beautiful view Room 1001 on 10th floor. Excellent welcome and service from all the dining room team especially the Maitre D and Gerard Butler's double. Plenty choice of food all well presented and tasty, every one of our family group of 9 always found something to enjoy. Good choices of refreshments and wine with the meals. Spacious relaxing areas around the pools including many beds under cover from the sun if that s what you require. Make sure to go up to 15th floor to the Sky Bar and restaurant - where one can have a spectacular 360 degree view of Can Picafort and also watch the sunsets, the tasting menu A La Carte meal was also lovely. We found the Hotel was very quiet during the day as it was second last week of their season and 75% of the sun loungers were unused - so all 9 of us could choose where to sunbathe without having to book beds etc. Good selection of activities from the Entertainment Team - and the team were all friendly and did a great job through the day and were excellent in their performances at some productions they put on in the evenings. Bar staff were also great - wide range of drinks available including some delicious cocktails. The hotel location is good for access to the Majorca Bus system and was only 5 minutes away from the main shopping area and 10 minutes or so from the promenade and harbour area.

Excellent hotel. Lovely welcome upon arrival. We stayed All Inclusive. The AI band was great as it also acted as your key to the room. We had a beautiful suite with dividing doors which was great, very spacious and modern. Even included a small kitchen area equipped with kettle and toaster though we never used it. Great balcony looking onto the stage and football pitch. Only criticism was the sofa bed was very uncomfortable for my teenage daughter. But when I told reception about it they put a Mattress topper on which did help make it a bit better. Evening entertainment was generally good with a show every night- some acts were better than others- Tina Turner tribute was amazing as were the 2 guys doing the rock show. I joined the aqua fit class one day and also the Zumba. Entertainment team work hard and were excellent. Pool area was amazing with lots of different areas to enjoy, even a little beach area with cabana beds. There’s also a large outdoor jacuzzi and a whirlpool on the rooftop level. Food was really good, great variety, always something different to try. On all inclusive you can get a bottle of wine with your meal! Only annoyance is there was no self-serve option for water/soft drinks and it was often difficult to get the waiter back after your first drink (they were very busy). All inclusive featured branded spirits which was a nice surprise! Also some ice creams (like cornettos) though they had run out when we asked unfortunately. As others have mentioned, the lifts can be busy. I think the longest we waited was about 5 minutes, which wasn’t too bad. Location wise the hotel is about 5 mins walk from the resort centre, and 10 mins from the beach. The resort didn’t have much to offer other than lots of “fake goods” shops, but it was October so didn’t have high expectations. There were some nice looking restaurants and bars but we didn’t try any. I would definitely recommend the hotel.

Beautiful hotel, very well maintained. Stayed October half term week in an apartment for a family of 4. Gorgeous view from our room on the 13th floor. Staff on reception were very friendly, check in was quick. Lovely pool areas, lots of sun-loungers, very spaced out so you’re not on top each other unlike most hotels. Food was absolutely fine, good standard for AI. Can Picafort is a lovely little town, loads of shops, restaurants on the beach and water-sports available. We were spoilt with the hotel being very quiet, there was a very chilled atmosphere, no hustle and bustle, although a lot of Spanish arrived during our last couple of days for the hotels last weekend of the season and the restaurant became extremely busy, lots of queues and people everywhere which made us really appreciate the few quiet days we’d had. I had a massage at the on site spa which was reasonably priced. Market every Friday well worth a visit. Rooms/towels cleaned/changed daily. Id definitely recommend this hotel, all of the staff went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic service. I would have given 4.5 stars although this wasn’t an option. Thank you to everyone at the Tonga for a wonderful holiday.

We had a great all-inclusive stay for a week in October with our teenage daughter. The one bedroom apartment was exceptionally clean and suited us well with a sliding door that could be used to divide the space. Food was ok, there was always a good choice - pizza and pasta available at every meal. However, sometimes dishes were not labelled. Drinks served to the table was a nice touch. Drinks at the bar were excellent, international brands and some good cocktails available on all inclusive. Snack bar was ok but the food got cold quickly. You can choose from a selection of branded ice creams on Al. We tried the 5 course taster menu at the Blue Sky Restaurant which was a good experience. Although we stayed during half term the hotel was really quiet for most of our stay, except for 2 nights when a large coach tour of Spanish pensioners arrived. Suddenly the restaurant, bar and dance floor were full! Even then, there were still lots of empty sun beds and plenty of quiet places to relax during the day. We enjoyed using the steam room and sauna. It is an easy walk to the beach which is beautiful. We also caught the bus to visit Alcudia Old Town on market day. This was well worth a visit and was 6.50 (one-way) for 3 of us, if you pay using a bank card.

Travelled here on the 12th of October for a 10 night all-inclusive holiday, took around 50 minutes to get to using the standard transfer from the airport, very smooth check-in allowed us to quickly get to our room then back down to the pool, we found various rows of sunbeds available and this was the case every day, fresh water pool was cold but didn't stop people from swimming, there are two Spar shops directly outside the hotel both slightly more expensive than those down by the sea front and stock a range of snacks, drinks, toiletries etc. It will take 10 to 15 minutes to walk down to the strip and once there you can easily get 4 to 5 miles walking along the coast line, numerous shops, bars, and restaurants were still open and there was an outdoor market on both Friday's. As all-inclusive goes the food really was good, fry up available for breakfast and more continental style too, cold meats, bread and cheese, we never struggled for selection and have to say it wasnt that repetitive, fish, chicken, and pork dishes, pasta, chips all good, restaurant can get busy but the hotel provide information on busy times allowing you to decide when to sit, the team work hard to clean tables ready to seat the next hungry mouths, its here that as guests we can help by stacking the plates, cutlery etc to speed up the process, i did see as a guest people expecting far too much service and there are those that feel they are more entitled, which is reflected in some of the previous reviews i have read. The entertainment was ok. The animation team did a fantastic job every day, so much energy even at this late time of the season. Mini club and kids disco for the kids and music for all later, weather was great, averaging around 25 degrees c during our visit, some rain and wind but nothing that kept us in, came home sun kissed and thoroughly relaxed would travel here again in October, have heard the area in general is very busy in the Summer months and that's not for me, that being said the team at Tonga towers are well versed at providing the service continuously and courteously.

Well we had a great week at Tonga tower. Went with family members of all ages. Rooms lovely and clean always and a great size with a nice balcony. Comfy bed. Rooms cleaned daily. Hairdryer provided along with soaps, shampoo etc. breakfast proved to be a favourite with us all with great selection. We had lunch both indoor at the main area and the outdoor snack bar and both were good. Staff in restaurant all very nice but kept very busy. Think it would be handy to have a drink station at night for fizzy drinks, like morning self service as sometimes could be a wait for a juice during meal if you finished your first one. Lots of nice relaxing areas outside with plenty of beds for lying on. Different sizes of pools throughout. Only thing I would say about the pools is every one was freeeezing!!!! Maybe this is the norm but I thought one might have been heated since there was smaller ones around too, noticed it was only my nieces and nephews that were in most of the time , so all these pools and not really being used by majority as was too cold. Clearly our kids from Scotland are used to the cold. I for sure think it would be worth at least one being heated a little. Staff/children’s entertainers were fab! Well suited to there roles. We did most of the shows and they were enjoyed by the kids especially, our kids enjoyed the kids disco also! Overall a really great stay and would recommend. Nice area just a 5 min walk to the beach. Aldi a two min walk across the road diagonally. We rented a sit on bike from the hotel that was for 6 of us and that caused a lot of hilarity and was good fun. Nephew spent a lot of time at the football pitch at the resort and all the kids loved the children’s play/swim area. Thanks for a great holiday! Very hard working staff team through the whole building.

This was our second time to stay at the Tonga Towers. Lovely clean hotel. Unfortunately this was the final week before the hotel closed for the winter and it seemed as if some of the staff couldn’t be bothered. We stayed in a junior suite and we had a mini bar that we free to use. It is re-filled but only if you ask at reception. The food was ok but nothing out of the ordinary and very repetitive. We enjoyed a couple of trips to Alcudia which is easy to get to via the local bus.
