The rooms are basic but clean, the rooms have air conditioning which works pretty well. It also has a fridge, which you have to pay a daily charge for a key to use (3euros).
Its a B and B hotel and as you`d expect its continental breakfast which is Ok if you like that sort of breakfast.
All the staff were friendly enough and helped with any questions we had.
The pool area is clean and tidy, although if you want a sunbed you have to be up early to get one.
All in all a decent Hotel, we were glad we booked it last minute.
The room was basic but still plenty of storage. Beds were comfortable enough. An issue with the shower head was addressed within a couple of hours of reporting it. Extra pillows brought to our room very quickly.
Breakfast very good. Hot food, 2 types of eggs, bacon, sausages, tomatoes and fried potatoes. Cold meats and cheese, cereals, bread, bread rolls, cakes and pastries, it’s all there buffet style.
Cleaning staff were in every day, towels changed even when not left on the floor.
The location was ideal for us. We were a few minutes walk from the beach and all the bars and restaurants. The hotel is off the main strip so you didn’t have the noise from the fun.
A couple of negative points:-
The bathroom grouting needs redoing as quite stained.
Only one socket in the bedroom, apart from the shaving socket in the bathroom. Needed to juggle phone charging, kindles etc but we managed.
We were on 3rd floor, you need to go further up for a seaview. Our balcony overlooked a tired looking building but it was sunny so great for drying your towels and swimwear. We didn’t sit out there as so close to the beach.
The pool is across a small road at the side of the hotel. The pool is lovely and cool with sunbeds and parasols in good condition. There is a pool bar there with what I think were downstairs toilets but this remained closed whilst we were there. You have a short walk into the hotel for toilets and bar but it was a shame the pool bar wasn’t open.
We had an early transfer home so we were leaving before breakfast starts (8.00-10.00). When I asked if we could could have an early breakfast or even just coffee, we were told no, there are no staff. Given that the reception is manned 24/7 and they have a coffee machine behind the bar, I felt they were disappointingly unhelpful. There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. I have never had that in any other hotel I’ve stayed in where they didn’t offer something for their guests on an early check out.
That aside we had a very comfortable stay at the hotel. We had everything we needed for a great holiday albeit on a no frills basis.
Amazing value for money, staff friendly and left you to get on with your holiday. If asked they were more than happy to provide recommendations or offer advice.
Rooms were a bit tired and in need of redecorating but again for the price I couldn’t ask for more.
Great pool area, which was a welcome retreat after a hot day.
Breakfast was fine, nice selection of meats, cheeses, pastries and cereals. There are a number of signs asking you not to take food away from dining room but they also say that if you want to do this then just ask a member of staff.
Location was amazing…less than 5 min walk to the beach and restaurants.
Parking on the street was fine, always managed to get a spot less than a few minutes away.
Overall was a great experience and we would return
The service is shocking, the hardly speak English and are not helpful at all!
They all have such bad attitudes, almost too scared to ask for something!
Do not ask for ice ( this is a no no) was told that if I wanted ice I had to pay for it! Was happy to buy a coke and take the ice and put into my water bottle. I was then told that I should have rather stayed in an apartment where I had a deep freezer to keep my own ice!
You get 1 shabby bath towel ( do not ask for another) you’ll get interrogated “why do you need another towel?”
The breakfast is piss poor! The put the bare minimum out and replenish when asked! Almost like a budget breakfast!
They are all unfriendly and rude!
To think that this island depends on tourism, it is very very sad!
Besides this, the beaches are lovely, the restaurants are great and the sun is glorious! I will definitely be back to Spain but not Mallorca!
"Do not ask for anything as you will be shunned upon! The staff are ALL unfriendly! Rude is an understatement "Read full review
