Guests often commend Hotel & Spa Ferrer Janeiro for its exceptional cleanliness, highlighting immaculate rooms and pristine pools. The hotel's location earns praise for its easy beach access and tranquil vibe, even if a few travelers mention occasional noise. Accommodations are generally well-received for their cleanliness, comfort, and views, though remarks about room size and AC glitches do surface.
While the staff garners acclaim for their friendliness and professionalism, there are sporadic reports of slow or unprofessional service. Amenities are a draw, with varied food and entertainment options, but some guests encounter additional fees and a lack of musical variety.

Detailed Reviews
I’m currently at the hotel having booked about 3 weeks ago just as quarantine rules were being announced in the uk. Whilst not related to the hotel, Birmingham Airport was incredibly quiet but all ran smoothly. The hotel is in a quiet area of can picafort. Its a lovely hotel, the front is modern and welcoming and it’s apparent it’s a 4*. The staff are very friendly. Masks must be worn inside the hotel. The cleaning is frequent and the place is spotless. Hand sanitizer is mandatory before entering the food area of the restaurant and a member of staff is always there to make sure this happens. Food is buffet and varied and plentiful. Table service for drinks at lunch and evening dinner. Drinks choices are very good and served in glasses if sitting in the bar area, plastic cups for pool side (apart from at night when all served in glasses). My room is overlooking the street and is modern and clean. Beds are memory foam. I’d estimate the hotel to be around 50% full. There are some nice modern seating areas to the front of the hotel. Perfect for me to be honest. Beach is a very short walk down the road. Some hotels appear to be closed as do many shops and restaurants but there are still quite a few open. Beach bar down the road seems always busy. Bus stop is just around the corner to get around. Most people seem to be wearing masks in the streets but I haven’t.

So what can I say, the staff at this hotel are amazing.. We started our week at the beginning of August and it was quiet, mainly Spanish visitors. Firstly the food was top! There was so much choice and it was yummy! The entertainment was different every night.. And because majority was Spanish it was mainly not for us English but that's not an issue.. The entertainment manager was very friendly and made sure every one was having fun! Come to day 5 of the holiday and my daughter was tested positive with covid.. It was my worst nightmare being stuck in Spain! But after spending 36 hours speaking to the Spanish embassy, covid helpline and British embassy I wasnt getting anywhere fast.. But the manager and receptionist was AMAZING they booked me an extra room and the girls where seperated and they isolated for the 10 days.. The staff brought water and towels for them daily and bags for their washing.. Obv myself and partner dropped food off for the girls and drinks. But the manager was just the biggest relief.. I had to leave the island so my partner stayed and kept in constant contact with the manager and everyone was just awesome. I cannot reccomend this hotel enough.. Hand sanitisers in the right places, like everywhere individuals don't know what personal space is.. But the hotel had notices everywhere. The location wasn't as expected, we was unbelievably close to the beach and there was about 10 shops opposite the hotel.. Souvenirs, cigarettes and food etc. There is buses into palma and alcudia (pay by card it's 40% cheaper and its shocking how much they charge if cash) cash it's about 5 euros single journey for a 20 min bus journey. The bus stop is 5 min walk and you can even get a bus to the airport. It was a 20 min walk to the big supermarket.. I wouldn't suggest parking by hotel rarely a space and I must of watched about 15 people reverse into other cars.
If you are looking for a family holiday and welcoming staff and great entertainment, food and swimming visit this place.. If you are willing to walk there is plenty of shops thank you guys again.. You made a very stressful time so much easier xxxx

We have been to this resort many times before and absolutely love the place. As we went just as Majorca moved to the green list the resort was quiet but most bars & restaurants were open with others promising to return next year. The beach and sea is still as inviting as ever. It was our first stay at the Ferrer Janeiro & we booked all-inclusive just in case there were not many bars open, but this was not a problem. The hotel was very clean, the staff are lovely and are very well organised and work very hard. Everyone obeyed the rules and wore masks indoors apart from when sitting down to dinner or for evening drinks in the lounge. Food at the hotel was plentiful with lots of choices and the buffet always being freshly replaced. The restaurant was very well managed with hand sanitising station as you walked in and staff were there to control the flow of people if required. The all-inclusive drinks package is only house spirits but the gin and brandy were acceptable. There was a drinks station for water, soft drinks, hot drinks, beer & wine, plus sandwiches, ice cream & snacks. We felt very safe at this hotel and there was a bonus of a Covid testing centre on site to get your going home tests done. The facilities at the hotel are good, two pools family and a bigger lane pool for more serious swimmers. There is also a spa but we didn’t use. The evening entertainment was not to our taste although the staff worked very hard and there were a couple of singing acts and karaoke. Overall we loved the hotel & would return.

Just coming towards the end of a lovely 2 week stay here. Rooms are lovely and have a fridge, they are cleaned everyday and if you want a kettle, just ask at reception. We were Half Board and food is buffet style with plenty on offer, slightly different every night, fruit always on offer and the most amazing desserts, staff are polite and attentive, always clearing your empty plates away. Bar staff are efficient and attentive. Entertainment is ok but mainly caters towards the Spanish. The cleaners are always around cleaning something, I have never seen cleaners work so hard, they are a credit to the hotel.
We met a lovely couple from Manchester with 2 beautiful boys - Oliver and Liam- 3 years old and had a few lovely nights being entertained by their boys, playing bingo with Oliver and Liam showing me his new toys, if you see this, please message me via here, we would love to stay in touch with you :-)

Very clean hotel the rooms are cleaned to an excellent standard and overall the staff are very nice. The hotel has a very large German presence which is not a bad thing but things are geared towards the German ways.
The food is a good standard with plenty of choice, you are not eating at a restaurant that cooks individual meals so expect mass cooked quality food which is good. Again the restaurant staff work very hard and keep the place very clean.
If you want to drink at the pool side drinks are served in plastic glasses. In the evening after 7pm you get waiter service with proper glasses again they work hard and very clean, well worth a few euros tip. If you come with children mini disco goes on for a while because Dumi makes it fun for them. Dumi is a one man entertainment machine I have not seen one man entertain like he does.
The spa is also worth a visit very relaxing and the floatation room is very good.
You pay the island tax 3.30 a day, ting ting train runs very close and is 4 euro return which is good value. The local area is quiet at night shops stay open till 11pm and they have a tabac shop plus local shops and some good bars.
Overall I would class the hotel a very good 3 Star and well worth a stay this is our third stay here and will come back again.

Hotel is located near the beach but the beach is full of water plants and it is not suitable for swimming because of rocks. The room was clean and has very comfortable bed with good quality mattress. The food was fine. Not so big assortment, but there were shrimps, squid rings and fish dishes. The hotel was not crowded at all which is really important during Covid situation in the world. Hotel stuff always controlled and reminded tourists about masks in the hotel and to disinfect hands. So I felt safe there.
The only problem is that there is nothing near hotel, we were driving to Alcudia all the time. Good that there is bus stop directly near hotel.

We booked this hotel at the last minute due to TUI changing the departure airport at the last minute and refusing to change to a more convenient airport at the same price, but that is another story...
The hotel was recommended by the travel agent at our local airport ( FKB ), and the reviews were pretty good so we took a chance.
All in all the hotel is fine, the rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, and the staff is friendly. There is also a spa which my wife found to be excellent.
The beach is about a 5 minute walk and is sandy, there are also some good restaurants to be found fairly close by.
A few things need improvement though.
The food was very repetitive, especially at lunch which was basically the same everyday.
The AI cocktail selection is very limited, even simple things like a Mojito, or Caipirinha cost extra.
The fridge in our room (234) never worked, even after reporting it to reception.
The room safe costs €3 per day, this is out of line in my opinion, and the first time that I've seen a hotel charge for its use in Europe.
The singer ( using that word very loosely indeed ) was one of the worst ever, he hit every note, just not in the right order...
The sunbeds are in desperate need of replacement, you are laying on the metal framing in a lot of them, I won't mention the usual towel game.
The above are the reasons, I've given 3 out of 5 in the ratings, it's actually 3.5 /5 but that isn't an option. If they correct these points, I'd give a 4.5.
Would I return? Possibly, I know my wife liked it especially due to the spa.

We have just returned after a lovely week at the Ferrer Janeiro, and had a great experience.
Firstly, the staff make the hotel. From check-in, to waiters, entertainment staff and housekeeping everybody had a friendly smile and were so welcoming, a real credit to the hotel. The entertainment was better than we expected, with Freddie mercury, lady Gaga tribute acts, acrobats and mini-discos amongst others. Dani was fantastic!
Food was better than we expected. We were all-inclusive but could have eaten different meals every day. There was always plenty of choice, salads, pizza, pasta, soup, vegetarian and there was a fresh omelette station each morning. Drinks were always available on tap and even at 4am I could go and get a coffee before our flight.
Rooms were basic but adequate. They have tv (even had bbc and itv), coffee machine (which wasn't replenished during the stay) and we seemed to have been upgraded to pool view on arrival. There were two downsides though, firstly the walls are thin. You can hear noise through the corridors at night and furniture being dragged both outside and in room above late at night and early morning. Our room was above the bar so this didn't help, but might be worth requesting a high floor away from the bar if you have young children. Secondly, the glass between bedroom and bathroom doesn't lend itself to privacy. Not a problem for us, but could be for others. It's kind of half frosted with strips. The pools were great, and always loungers available. The spa was also good, though did have a lot of children in early on.
The location of hotel was 100m to a lovely beach and about 16min walk to C'an Picafort with bars and restaurants on the way. It was great to be out of the hustle of the town, but close enough to stagger back. Both beach and town are great. There is also a bus stop about 5 mins walk to Alcudia.
All in all, we would recommend this hotel for both couples and families who don't want to be in the centre of a resort but close enough to have good access, and also looking for a great relaxing break.

Spent the last 2 weeks in August summer holidays at this fab hotel, staff are more than fantastic and all take time to chat and always smiling. Food was the best we've experienced at an AI and always different, fresh and hot. Cant fault at all. Staff happy to serve drinks to you and never had to wait to be asked. The large laned pool was great, for me as a swimmer it was fab having this facility which was never abused and all respected the use by people wanting to exercise. The gym is located at the Ferrer Concord 2 mins away and overlooks the sea. Very well stocked with bikes and weight equipment. We chose an apartment as there were 4 of us which was of good size and based 2 mins walk from the main building which was no issue at all. In fact it was nice to sit out on the balcony and take in the atmosphere from the bars on the street below. Walk from the main town area was around 15 mins but very pleasant. The shows on a night were good too. Abba Inferno was a good singalong as was Take Two, good service at the bar and outside sitting area on a night too, waiters constantly coming round asking.
Cant fault anything and for a nice relaxed holiday do choose this hotel, well done to all staff and management ! Would definetely go back but we do like to visit new places.

We stayed for 11 days at the Hotel FerrerJaneiro, the building and the outdoor area are well maintained, we were warmly welcomed and were able to stay our room on the 3rd floor around 12 pm. Get a stick. The room was modern, with small fridge, balcony facing the street with partial sea views. The rooms were cleaned daily, any staff (from cleaning staff to waiters, kitchen staff, registration...) with whom we had contact was friendly and helpful.
We had booked all inclusive, daily breakfast from 8am to 10am, lunch from 1pm to 3pm and dinner from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. The food in buffet form was very rich and varied. There was something for everyone, attention was always paid to cleanliness and the food was constantly refilled. At times you didn't get a table at rush hour, at times large crowds at the buffet and very high noise levels in the dining room, but this is also due to the hotel guests who chat loudly or watch videos with their mobile phone. The scraping of the plates and the cutlery of the clearing forces, which however mega quickly clear the empty plates etc.
The two pool areas are nicely landscaped, with whirlpool, however, there is considerable risk of slipping on the slippery tiles at the upper sports pool, several guests have slipped there, including my wife. Water quality was good, sufficient showers available in the outdoor area, but you should be at the pool as early as possible, as some people reserve loungers with their towel BEFORE breakfast and then go to breakfast 🙄. There is even a washing machine and dryer, which can be used for a fee. During the day and in the evening there were animation programs for young and old. To the beach it is a 3 minute walk, several shops right outside the door, otherwise rather quieter place, who wants more nightlife, must go to Can picafort place, about 20 minutes walk or by pummel train. Conclusion: Recommended

It does, depends what time of the year you go. If you go in the summer holidays it tends to be more children / young adult entertainment
