The Alcina is in a lovely location with some wonderful beaches within walking distance. The Hostal is basic as reflected in the price, rooms were clean and staff cheerful. Wifi available in reception and restaurant (2 different codes) .We were on a bed and breakfast basis (continental) which was basic and the usual toaster problems and for a few days due to...

Had a great time here. I even volunteered as assistant chef for five days. Centrally located for all the enntertainments and caters for everyone and what ever nationality.A ten minutes walk to the nearest beach and marina, enjoy the Saturday market, everything under the roofs. Wear light and lose clothing because it can get very hot in the packed square....

Stayed on b&b basis with friends, was very clean, the staff were very good. Breakfast was very poor, there was no toast just meat cheese and baguettes, not even any cereals. I would go back as the area is beautiful. The food in the restaurant was very good, and reasonably priced.

Stayed here whilst on holiday for a week with family and friends. This hotel is advertised as a 1 star hotel, so I wasn't expecting chandeliers in the lobby! Unfortunately there's no air con, but I already knew this and took my own fan. The hotel is clean and the staff are amazing, Nico, Fabio and David we're all very...

What do these people with negative reviews expect? The Alcina doesn't claim to be 5 star! It is very clean, fresh linen 6 days per week. A family run business- staff are all friendly, helpful and efficient. Decent food and bar. Swimming pool one minute across the road -clean and relaxing. True, no air con, but in my experience air...

The positive thing about this hotel is that the rooms are clean. Otherwise, we weren´t happy with many aspects. First of all, the advertised swimming pool isn´t actually by the hotel. There is no air-conditioning in the rooms so you have to have the windows open and smell other guests smoking on their balconies. The walls are quite thin so...

Stayed in room 310 from 21st - 28th june 2016. Rooms are basic (bed, bed side table, wardrobe, bathroom, shower, bath, hand basin & balcony) spotlessly clean. Beds changed 6 out of the 7 nights. Food in the adjoining restaurant (owned by same people) was fabulous, could not fault anything, good value, staff were super friendly and so welcoming. Nico,...

The good: it's clean; wifi is slow and works in public areas only, but at least it works; big balconies. The bad: everything else. Check-in that took an hour only because there was no one at reception and guests had to wonder around to find someone in adjacent restaurant that could call someone to come to reception. Breakfast - dirty...
