The room was very small and dirthy; the air conditioner went wrong. We changed the room, but it wasnt a good idea, because the air conditioner was the same wrong. The hotel was dirthy, the foods were low-grade. It isnt a 4* ... maximum 2* !!!!! The staffs were disrespectful!

My 2nd stay at this lovely, safe little hotel and I had a wonderful time once again. I have booked to return again at the end of April. Perfect location right by the beach, lots of nice shops at the back of the hotel. Just perfect for a solo traveller or couples wanting a quiet holiday I would say.

I read the reviews for here was a little scared, however I shouldn’t have been, the place is stunning, the location is amazing, I’m an extremely fussy eater and the food is gorgous, no issues, yes the local bars play music till late maybe 11pm that’s not the hotels fault, the hotel is clean and well looked after, you fall out the hotel and land on the beach, it’s glorious, miles better than I was expecting. 2 pools, plenty of seating, aircon is a little dated but did the job.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel An-Ba Romaní. The staff was very friendly. My daughter (2 years old) hat fun with the staff. Even if there was plenty of work to do, the staff always took a minute to do their very best. The hotel is really good located and the sea is a few meters away. The hotel is very clean and the food is really really good. We had a blast :)

Very enjoyable stay as all-inclusive but certainly room for improvement. We were a little concerned before our trip by some recent reviews however, on the whole, we had a great time in a lovely hotel. On arrival, reception were great, spoke good enough English to manage check in and direct us to our rooms. The hotel has 3 different buildings so our experience may well be different to others in a different block. Room: Booked a sea view room. Big enough for 2, nice enough bathroom with large walk in shower. Beds comfortable enough and aircon worked fine. Restaurant: 3 different meals served over the day, breakfast, lunch and evening meal. Always enough to eat, fresh and mainly self service. A little repetitive but always found something to eat. On occasions very busy and we had to wait a short time for a table. Pool bar snack: I enjoyed the afternoon snacks by the bar pool, occasionally difficult to get a table as some guests used the snack tables to leave their towels etc. to swim in the pool. I did complain at reception and their reply was "we are so busy". Not a solution really but this highlights where there is room for improvement: This is a predominantly German booked hotel which wasn't a problem in itself but sunlounges are difficult to get unless you are up at the right times. Approximately 7am for the pool bar lounges or 9 am for the sea view pool lounges. I gave up trying in the end. Queuing for drinks could also be interesting. So improvements, firstly make sure there are enough facilities for ALL the paying customers even at peak times. A few of the lounges were broken and could be replaced but with a little thought, space could be made for extra lounges. This would also help improve the situation at the pool bar during snack times, or at least put up a sign stating these tables are only for customers eating at certain times of the day. The hotel seemed a little tired and could do with some updating in places but on the whole, a very enjoyable experience. I must emphasize, we had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is perfectly situated by the sea and also next to shops, bars and restaurants without being too busy and noisy. One last thing, a big shout out to ALL the staff, especially Joan, Manoli and Micky at the bar. They all work tirelessly to make our holidays enjoyable.

I would rate this hotel as average 3* hotel. At the beginning we had problem with our room as we booked room for 3 people but we got only 2 beds. We went straight to reception and problem was solved within couple of minutes. What was the issue, the room is so small that when you have even 2 beeds it is already full. Regarding condition of room, it will needs deep clean as in shower we had rust and dryed water. Room was cleaned each day but sometimes we were left with stained towels. In the restaurant we always had problems with cutlery as staff were overloaded and they didnt manage to clean tables after guests. What is the positive you are living directly on the beach so if you dont have big expectations and most of the time you will spend outside of the hotel, you will be not dissapointed. Otherwise I recommend you to look for other options.

I thought negative reviews were picky. I have never written a negative review and travel abroad 3x a year every year. This is NOT a 4* hotel. Queues into the restaurant as it is not big enough for the number of guests. When you did eventually get in the restaurant, they ran out of cutlery, cups, glasses & food at every mealtime. We asked to move room as it was full of damp-mould spores all over the wall & ceiling. We were told to go back at 7am to see a manager & after sleeping in the smelly & damp room, we went down at 7am to be told to go back after 11am as there were no clean rooms. We went back at 11am and were able to move rooms, though we did suffer the rudeness of 2 male members of reception staff. The rooms are very small if there is more than 2 of you staying. We also were left without towels & again suffered the rudeness of male receptionist when asking for towels. The pools do not have lifeguards and there are definitely not enough sun loungers for guests. There is a queue on a morning to get a sun lounger and the many german guests have no concept of queueing and so push past to get a lounger-this happened every morning! Entertainment is shocking-go up to Cala Bona (Atolon/Hotel Cala Bona/Lavante who will not only show you what a 4* hotel is, but will put on amazing entertainment that you are welcome to join-thankfully!) There was water pouring from the ceiling on the main corridor between pools-they put towels down and turned off water for the day! We made the mistake if venturing down to the jacuzzi & indoor pool-which had hazard tape all around it and both were empty, mouldy & smelly; unfortunately this area is where the courtesy room is situated and it is grim-we chose not to use it!! The baggage room door gets stuck and so you risk your belongings getting stuck if the maintenance man isnt there to open and when he isnt there, they leave the door fully open for anyone to access! Positives-the maids do work hard cleaning. The female reception staff are nice except the female manager, who is also rude! The restaurant staff work so hard. Cant fault the food-mexican & spanish theme nights were very good, as is the fresh pizza & baguettes. The pools are very clean. The beach front location is great but this hotel is a let down to it. Book elsewhere if you can. Thankfully, Cala Millor & Cala Bona are beautiful resorts with so much going on that our holiday wasnt ruined due to us spending the bare minimum amount of time in the hotel! Sorry its negative-just trying to be helpful!

More like a mediocre hotel. I think the whole hotel is saved by receptionist Eva and animator Didier. Evie has been supportive of us since arriving. She solved all our problems and answered questions. Didier took care of the fun games, always being able to bring us into the game and make fun. Very substandard was the restaurant where the dishes were dirty. The kitchen repeated the meals over and over.

I was satisfied with the hotel. At this point, I would like to especially appreciate the work of two people. First, to the Czech receptionist Evička, who is simply the best, and secondly to the perfect animator, who prepared a great program from sports activities such as fitness, aquagym, darts, pink ponk and petanque to various games for children and adults to evening music and magic shows. Thank you for making our vacation more enjoyable.

I really enjoyed my stay! The rooms were great and were cleaned and the beds were very tidely made. Also, the Animator “Didier” was really entertaining and had so much fun at his aquagym. All the other employees were very friendly and had the feeling they really tried their absolute best. Very fun stay!
