Beautifully refurbished a couple of years ago, rooms are bright, functional and contemporary. Reception staff and lifeguard were welcoming and pleasant. My only niggle would be that there is no warning from Protur Hotels before booking that linen, towels and maid service are not included and attract a charge - I didn’t mind this, I just would have liked to have known beforehand. Hotel has laundry facilities which was very welcome considering there is no laundrettes in Cala Millor anymore- but why don’t you advertise this on your website…?….it’s good to know you have this here! I paid for a sea view room, what a beautiful view! Thank you for a pleasant and relaxing stay.

We visited Cala Millor and Protur Atalaya Apartamentos during the second par of July and it was a very hot period in Mallorca. This really meant that the A/C would need to work like a charm and it absolutely did. The small apartment was modern and newly renovated. We liked the style and it felt fresh and airy. Very good bathroom, but really hard beds (especially the sofa beds). Also the pool area was neat and modern. Although the pool is very small, I would recommend using it during the siesta hours when it was a lot fewer people there. On the other hand you will reach the beach in no more than five minutes. This is another one of the really good things about the hotel - the fact that it is very well located in Cala Millor, very close to heaps of restaurants and to the beach. Also it probably only takes five minutes to get to a well sorted Aldi. A much larger Carrefour is to be found in Cala Bona (just a short bus ride away). This is a bit of a budget choice hotel (especially if you compare to the other Protur hotels in the area) and I must say that I did miss at least one change of towles (there was none, and we knew this from the beginning) and I also missed to have a least one day of cleaning the room. Unfortunately the room was not very clean when we moved in, but I just couldn't be bothered with complaining about it. Takes too much energy.
So in short I would perhaps come back to this hotel, but I would like a room much higher up to filter away some of the noise (we stayed on the first floor). Also get ready for some noise between the apartments, so perhaps bring earplugs.

Great apartments, modern and Aircon great in the sweltering heat, modern bathroom with rain forest shower head , one set of towels and toilet rolls , binbag etc. Great balcony and pool was not crowded even though it's pretty small. Only negative is that it closes at 6 when most other places are still open. I asked about keeping our room on the last day but this was not possible due to full capacity. Luggage room was fine. Close to lovely pizza place and Chinese and only 5 mins from Aldi and seafront . Highly recommended apartments, thank you.

I think this is either the third or fourth time we have stayed at these apartments. I really can't fault them, they are very nicely appointed. There is an Aldi about five minutes walk away and the apartments themselves are pretty much in the centre of the town. In all the circumstances, a very nice place to stay. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and there is even a washing machine available in the basement laundry room.

This was a wonderful apartment just a few meters away from the beautiful beach at Cala Millor!
Our stay was incredible, the apartment was clean, the view of the pool was lovely, waking up to blazing sun on the balcony was a fantastic.
Everything that we needed for our short stay was in the apartment and it’s only round the corner from an Aldi!
We are very big fans of Mary! She checked us in and was a joy! Wonderful to chat to and just really fun! Thank you so much! I will recommend this place to my friends for sure! Perfect for friends!
We understood there was a little fee If you wanted your apartment cleaned but as we were only there for a few days we didn’t need to 😊

This is an excellent value for money aparthotel in Cala millor. Centrally located but not too loud, all rooms are pool or sea facing with large accommodation, superb bathrooms and ice cold air con. It’s not one of these large hotels with all amenities but if it’s self catering you want (which is best given the number of eateries in this large resort) then its tough to beat.

Myself and my partner visited here in June 2023 and very impressed with the apartments
The location is perfect and is a short walk to the beach which is perfect. It is also very close to very good restaurants as well as a big Aldi which has a bakery
We were staying on the 4th floor and despite not expecting sea views we could still see them which was a nice sight to see from our balcony
The pool was nice and peaceful and there was plenty of sun beds and umbrellas available no matter what time you decide to go down to the pool which is perfect as some hotels in the area it can be a nightmare trying to get a sun bed or umbrella unless you wake up first thing!
The room was a really good size however the only downside we found was the beds. We were aware that it would be two singles however these could not be pushed close to each other to make a double and they were also very loud as every time there was slight movement there was a loud noise and we could also hear this coming from other apartments. The two single beds were completely separate with a gap in the middle - you could not make it 1 bed. If there was a double bed option it would of definitely been a 5 star review!

Returned to the Atalaya after 3 years and unfortunately the room was not as clean or in the condition one would expect. Did I complain? No… I just cleaned up myself and enjoyed my short break. The kitchen area was still dirty with crumbs on the floor and the first plate I picked up was still dirty from a previous guest. The bathroom had a horrendous smell coming from the shower drain but this seems to be a common problem here that affects all the rooms, there must be something Protur can do to remedy this issue at the property? There was a lot of wall damage from doors hitting walls (no wall guards installed) marks on the paint where guests or the cleaning team had wiped the walls taking the paint off with it. There were also 2 shoe prints and dead mosquitos on the ceiling where someone had used their shoe to squash them. Finally the kitchen equipment (plates, cups and glassware) were an entire mix match which gave a really poor impression. Apart from the above, Protur Atalaya has an attractive small pool area and is located in the heart of Cala Millor. Reception staff are very friendly so I would not hesitate to contact them should I need to.

This has been one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. I always stay at Floriana but due to booking late I had to stay at Floriana and this hotel and let me tell you, this hotel was absolutely brilliant. Extremely clean hotel especially the pool area the washing area and reception. M.A. Caldentey Was the best. He let me check in a little earlier due to swapping hotels it was hectic but he was very friendly and very helpful. In fact all the reception including night time were outstanding. Floriana is good and hotel does help you but it is too hectic there. The room view was phenomenal. The hotel does not bother you and leaves you to it. It’s like being at home. The room has so much more then the Floriana and yet they are both 3 star. I would quite easily give this more stars. My Children do not want to leave here. I have been a protur member and staying at their hotels for 4 years. My only very small thing I would say is a vac is needed to clean The floor to pick up all the little bits after someone has vacated. I think that’s what the other reviews say because it is difficult with a brush never the less they had the room cold when we got there. It was like new. Everything you need was already here. I haven’t had to ring reception once. I was so shocked at the sunbed area that even by 9 45 this morning people haven’t reserved any. Everyone is amicable and friendly. No one is getting up rushing for sunbeds where at Floriana I couldn’t get any sunbeds and people are reserving from 6 am. Thank you M.A. Caldentey

Great hotel with brilliant service. The rooms are very spacious and modern. Lovely hot rain shower with a large bathroom. Had a balcony facing the beach which is recommended as the views are good. Very modern kitchen with all accessories. The manager was very polite and helpful. We were the last customers left in the hotel as they closing after we left for the end of the season, but the manager stayed very professional and courteous and we did not feel like we were the last customers to leave. The manager offered us our room way passed our check out time and told us not to rush even though they were about to close. Cannot compliment the manager and hotel enough. Thanks you!!!!

Hi there, I am sure staff would help to charge they were very friendly and approachable. Also I am just watched my videos and it seams like having a-lot of space on the reception and they have 2 lifts also. I can imagine even taking it up to the apartments and charge it there.

Hi the apartments are designed for four people but if one of the children is very young, you could probably have it in the double bed with you but they may also have cots. They don't serve breakfast or dinner or any food at all but that's okay because there is a supermarket 60 seconds from the front door of the hotel. It really is a lovely place and perfect in every sense. There are lots of restaurants very close to the apartment so food is not going to be a problem. Have a meal in Taverna del sur which has fab tapas but they are very big portions. With the exception of one or two places, the quality of food served in the restaurants is expensive low quality so if you can cook for yourself in the apartment, so much the better.
