Hotel Ilusion Vista Blava is celebrated for its excellent location, a stone's throw away from the beach and nestled amidst local shops and eateries. Guests enjoy the peaceful pool ambiance and recommend rooms with pool views, although opinions on the rooms vary, with praises for cleanliness but criticisms regarding size and decor. The hotel is considered a good value for money, despite mentions of additional fees.
While the overall cleanliness receives compliments, the pool area's upkeep has been noted as needing improvement. Service experiences range from friendly to less satisfactory encounters. Amenities are satisfactory but could benefit from better food variety and environmental considerations.

Detailed Reviews
Arrived late late evening, needed a coffee and a bite to eat, instantly shown were the coffee and food were, no faults there. We traveled as a family, mom dad and twin girls, just over 2 years old, possibly, because of our girls, we had so much attention from the staff, who were fantastic i must add, and many of the other guests who stayed here whilst we were here late September early October 2019, even made friends, the girls, even learnt a little Spanish, thanks to the lovely ladies who were clearing tables in the restaurant during meal times. The location of the hotel is easily within walking distance of the long promenade and beach and many many shops and places to eat, if you have not booked all inclusive. Rooms cleaned daily, new towels daily if you leave dirty towels on the bathroom floor, our room was supplied with 2 cots, and there was still more than enough space for all of us. Could have been a little more in the way of entertainment in the evenings, but it was almost the end of the season, and a little chilly in the evening if you were out by the pool. Pool itself is big enough, sun beds do need replacing, but once you lay a towel on then, it is not a problem. All in all, we had no problems at all with our stay at the Elegance Vista Blava, and are looking forward to returning earlier in the season this year. Many comments about the food in other reviews, my husband is a very fussy eater, but even he managed to put on some weight, we found nothing at all wrong with the food on offer for each meal time.

Our only major problem with this hotel was the exceptionally long transfer time, one hour hanging about on the bus at the airport then over two hours to our hotel making many small drop offs, but you could look at this as a positive as we had a tour of Majorca as we went!
The Blava Vista is a three star hotel and for us was pretty much as expected inside. The beds were exceptionally comfy, great showers and clean towels every day. The bedroom furniture was a little tired but nothing too bad and reception was a bit uninspiring.
The pool area was great, brand spanking new sun beds, side tables and parasols, a unmanned bar where you could help yourself to cold drinks, slushes and coffee.
The main bar was very good and the all inclusive drinks excellent. Good beer (Estrella) the wine was good, Processco included in the deal and great gin and tonics.
The staff must be mentioned as they were absolutely charming , from the chamber maids, bar and waiting staff to the manager they were lovely.
One problem we did have was for the first two days the food on the buffet was only lukewarm. The manager took on board the complaints and new bain maries were fitted and then the food was piping hot. Soup, salad and around six main courses each lunch and dinner. Very good breakfasts.
The area around the hotel is run down but it's only a very short walk to the beach front and the hotel cannot be blamed for what I guess is lack of investment locally over the last two years.
If you dont mind a long transfer, and by the way it was only just over an hour on our return trip then you should give the Blava Vista a go.
But remember it is a three star hotel and you are despite what some guests seem to expect are not going to get five star ammenities

We stayed at this hotel for one week from the beginning of June as a couple. It was very hot and we really enjoyed it. Check in was easy and the rooms were simple and very clean. The hotel was always clean and fresh. During the day there was never any issues getting sun beds as there were plenty. There is a bar outside next to the pool to help yourself to drinks until late at night which we enjoyed. There was little/ no entertainment during the day as we were advised on the daily entertainment board but we were advised this was due to staff leaving through our holiday. However it was relaxing without any music/ entertainment. The breakfast had a good selection of english breakfast food and sweet options too which was nice. The snacks were the same every time however there was always something different for dinner and tea. The food was fresh however i am a fussy eater so found myself struggling with some choices some nights.
During the times you enter the restaurant you must be covered up however there was no consistency with people sometimes and some people were told off and others not.
On the evening there was hardly any entertainment and me and the group of friends we made found ourselves doing the entertainment for everyone once we had a drink.
Surrounding the hotel there is the huge beach which is beautiful and is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. There are hundreds of shops and places to eat nearby too. There is a large aldi next to the hotel and there is a play park for children just down from the aldi.
There is a huge nightclub 10 mins walk from the hotel and some sports bars which accommodated us with the football twice during our stay.
Every morning you can choose if you would like your room cleaning and the cleaners ensure to make your bed and empty your bin which is nice.
Bedtime is 12 and people are told to go to bed at that time however some people mainly french/germans would stay up and would make a lot of noise especially if you have a balcony/ pool facing room.
However all in all we really enjoyed our time here it was clean and convenient and what we needed for our week away to relax
The staff were friendly and would help were they could.

On arrival I was checked in swiftly and pointed to the bar to have a drink while I waited on my check in approval, staff were very friendly and compensating to the language barriers, trying their best to understand my broad accent. Food throughout the stay was sublime, ranging from a full English/Spanish breakfast, to veal, fresh fish, meatballs that melt In your mouth and so much more, for the price you pay it’s a treat to have such a selection of foods throughout the day. Staff remained attentive to guests needs and even encouraged them to participate in pool activities and other things ie table tennis and dominos. The room was very well made, shower was amazing and rooms were changed daily at guests request, overall I would highly recommend staying here, without even mentioning the prime location to the beach and local amenities, it’s such a friendly hotel, with lovely staff and just an all round nice vibe.

I stayed in this hotel for a short break with my friend. The hotel was clean, staff very friendly and helpful.
We arrived to the accommodation in early hours of the morning after night flight and long drive, and were offered a cup of tea/coffee and a glass of orange juice - much appreciated!
We stayed on all inclusive basis and while the choice have not much changed over few days, there were enough options to always choose something different. Food was cooked fresh and tasty.
The pool area is concrete (no grass) but there were sunloungers and umbrellas provided. The pool itself was a good size.
If you're looking to stay somewhere on a low budget I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Just sitting here by the pool on our 2nd to last day at the illusion Vista Blava hotel in Calla Millor so thought I’d write a review.
Our flight from East midlands Airport to Palma was about 2.5hours. Transfer to this hotel was bout 1.75hours and when we arrived at about 12:30lunch time, we were so glad to be greeted by the smiles and happy faces of Joseph (the manager) and Nieves (the receptionist). They are really kind lovely people and even let us go straight in for lunch. Straight away we saw the food and noticed that it was nice and hot (which is the main thing in my view because if the food was cold it would have been useless and too risky to eat) so this meant I was very comfortable with eating here. The food on offer wasn’t loads but i would say it’s quality over the quantity in this hotel. You get proper Spanish Paella with muscles, Lamb Chops, pork chops, lasagne, fried potato, special fried rice, Carbonara just to name a few;the veg and the dessert on offer is bang on for the price you pay as well. Mariam who is the food and drinks manager, really made sure the staff was on point. I could see her constantly instructing staff what to do in regards to food organisation and where to put what. The drinks on offer beer wise was Estrella (my fave) and the rest are all soft drinks like Fanta, Pepsi, lemonade etc…
After lunch we went to our room which was spotless, very clean and tidy. The pool view was really great adding to the holiday vibes.
The hotel is right near the beach which is like 2 mins away and you can go on a boat with a glass bottom or go horse riding amongst other things.
Night time entertainment is a laugh and provides a chance to chill with the other guests and get their point of view about the hotel.
Entertainment was good although more for the elderly in my view. Like karaoke and songs played were the likes of you are my dancing queen.
Fara and Fernando (the bartenders) are sound as a pound. Top guys.
Everything basically brand new like the sunbeds, umbrellas as they had the wrappers on still.
All in all our 4 night stay has been really really nice. Perfect for a quick getaway and to catch a bit of sun and a few activities.
Thanks all!

We all understood this hotel was rated 3/5 stars when we booked however we didn’t expect to show up and be told that the rooms we had paid for were unavailable upon check in. We all paid for standard double rooms (sleeps three each) however a few of us had to wait 2 hours before we could check in, once we had gotten into our rooms at around 2pm they were not what we had paid for. My boyfriend and I had the smallest room out of our group of friends and instead of having the standard double room we paid for we got two single beds pushed together inside a tiny box room. Although the cleaners were great, they didn’t change the sheets for our whole 5 night stay. The lighting in our room was shocking and the aircon wasn’t much better, over our stay the heat didn’t go below 30° which made the nights slightly uncomfortable especially when the aircon stopped working on the last night. To add to this the all inclusive food was dire and borderline inedible, if you plan on staying here please budget for eating meals outside of the hotel complex. Eating Breakfast within the hotel was the safest option as some lunch and dinner options were unidentifiable and some tasted very questionable, there weren’t many vegetarian options which meant a diet of salad, bread and chips for one of us. Additionally we noticed that the pool would become quite dirty and cloudy throughout the day with bugs, dirt and hair ect, almost as if there was an issue with the filter perhaps? But there were plenty of sun loungers, umbrellas and indoor areas for when it got too hot. we also found throughout our stay that the staff would sometimes seem hostile and this gave an unwelcoming and uncomfortable feeling among us. However in saying this the majority of the staff were lovely, polite and appreciated the little Spanish that an English person can speak especially maribel and Alejandro. the entertainment was as to be expected from a 3 star, you could tell they were trying their best. The best part of the hotel is the location. Five minutes from the beach with some lovely restaurants around the coast, all in all we had a lovely time but never really inside the hotel.

We have stayed in some lovely 3 star hotels and even some lovely hostels & this is by far the worst place we have stayed!
Booked a weekend break and whilst not expecting 5 star luxury I didn’t expect to find poo on my curtains.
Anyway check in was smooth, very quick & the receptionist was lovely! We made our way up to the 4th floor and into a pool view room.
Furniture is old but ok. 2 beds pushed together, again absolutely fine. The beds were as hard as breeze blocks. There was a small balcony overlooking the pool a table out there and 2 chairs. However we had to open a curtain and then a black out curtain with poo on it to be able to use it, (and no I didn’t take any pictures because I didn’t feel it necessary, nor did I want to look at poo in the middle of my holiday snaps).
The bathroom, again was ok. Old and uninviting, rusty & a few gaps in the tiles but the shower was hot. There was no hand soap but thankfully we had our own otherwise we couldn’t have washed our hands. A couple of hairs on the door & the shower side which weren’t ours but easily wiped off or so I thought as they were still there after the room was cleaned.
The food, well we ate once because the food was cold and not appetisingly in the slightest! The smell from the dining room was disgusting, not to mention it really didn’t look clean! For those who wanted to have breakfast or a cup of coffee if you have an early flight breakfast doesn’t start until 8am.
The pool area looked clean and the tiles etc looked to be cleaned daily, however after a little bit of rain and wind it was again dirty which is to be expected, what isn’t too be expected is for tables and debris to be left in the pool all day & night until the following morning. Some of the local residents told us that the water hasn’t been changes since before covid. However I don’t know that for a fact.
The location is perfect it’s a couple of minutes walk to the Main Street and the beach, shops, pubs and restaurants. There is also an Aldi very close by.

Booked this hotel within 3 weeks of coming, usually read the reviews first which we didn’t until after & were disappointed with many.
So we came first impression very clean the reception staff welcoming & helpful.
Our room on the 4th floor we requested a balcony with pool view, we got a huge balcony could easily take sun loungers and nice and clean.
Hotel food plenty of choices and snacks ini between set meal times ideal for us.
The Aircon was not fully working for the two days and was very hot but got fixed with a huge improvement.
Pool is good plenty of sun loungers with bar with soft drinks help yourself or main bar for alcohol
Just a short walk to the many local bars & shops the sea front about 5 mins.
Try this hotel it is good value yes 3 star but it’s worth staying.
Thanks for a nice holiday.

My friend and I came to Majorca for a relaxing break, and that it was- Thanks to hotel vista blava! Staff were so accommodating, approachable and friendly. The hotel was pristine and fresh inside and out. Our Room was cleaned everyday and fresh towels replenished. I couldn’t get over the selection of delicious food on offer. Fresh fruit and vegetables, types of fish and seafood, pork, meats, chicken, cheeses, salads, pastas, potato’s, rice, breads, pastries etc. and to finish an abundant dessert counter. My friend being gluten free, always had pleasing options. Elongated meal times allowed for exploration, day trips and still not miss lunch or dinner, tasty snacks were on offer in between. The pool kept cool, clean water and was under the constant watch of an observant, conscientious life guard. The hotel is a 5 minute stroll to the beach, perfect to see the sunrise for the early birds, or for an evening stroll along the beautiful promenade. I highly recommend Hotel Vista Blava! Thank you for having us!

Walk out of hotel, turn left and then take next right, should take no more than 5 minutes walk.
They have both , I had diet ,but it's fine nit flat, well it wasn't when I had it
There are high chairs but I wasn’t looking for cots so don’t know but they do everything else. I’m sure they will have some but maybe for a charge ?
