Reviews Summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.
Powered by AI
Hotel Ilusión Vista Blava offers a stay that many guests find clean and conveniently located, just a stone's throw from the beach and local hotspots. While the rooms are tidy, they're often described as compact and somewhat dated, missing comforts like fridges and kettles. Service is generally good, with helpful staff, although a few visitors have experienced less-than-welcoming interactions. Opinions on value are split, balancing affordability with concerns about added costs and overall quality. The lively atmosphere, complete with entertainment, is a hit, though opinions on the volume of music vary. Despite praise for cleanliness, some suggest the pool area could be better maintained.

Negative: It is very noisy in the hotel corridor, you hear noises outside the room, people slamming doors, talking and laughing loudly late at night. The hotel does not offer pool towels to guests, thats too bad. We thought it would be included and therefore did not take with us from Homei. There was nothing on the website when we booked the hotel that you should bring your own towels. Maybe good to inform the guests about this. The pool area is completely redundant with pool chairs that are not being used, a bit too many in number compared to the guests. If you remove some chairs, the pool area would look much bigger and airier. The hotel takes a deposit and a fee to use the safes available in the hotel rooms. We think it should be included in the price. The rooms lack a kettle and a small fridge so you can keep drinks cold. The bar serves coffee in plastic cups. When we asked to get a real coffee cup they refused us. Bad service from the bar staff, they were always stressed and rude. Positively Very clean in the rooms and also around the hotel. The cleaners are very nice and helpful. There is good space in the rooms. It's not too much which makes it airy. Hard beds. Ac in the room Very Nice staff receptionists, cleaners, cooks, restaurant staff. All satisfied and provide good service. Quiet and nice by the pool area, a little music in the background, no shoals and shouts. Walking distance to the sea and the center. Close to the bus stop (300 meters) that goes to the airport and Palma. 1.5-2 hour journey.

Rooms basic but spotless, shower very good. Couldn't lock patio door. Had to pay 60 euros for "upgrade"!! to pool view, not worth it. 20 euros for safe key. With tax that over 100 euros before anything else. Didn't rate the food much. Having said all that, handy for beach, staff were very pleasant and helpful. Wouldn't stay again but lots of people would.

Nice little hotel. Great friendly staff. Excellent food. The evening entertainer Paulo is a really friendly bubbly guy . Doing his best to keep everyone happy . We did go right near the end of season and it was still busy . If we were to go back to Calla Millor we would happily stay there agian.

Just returned from a Monday to Friday break with family. We read the reviews before travelling so was not expecting too much but we were actually pleasantly surprised. Great location minutes from beach, shops, bars etc. The hotel was clean as was the pool area. Lots of free sunbeds. The food was typical all inclusive with some wierd and wonderful dishes but also delicious salads, meats, fresh breads and the most tasty pate. Breakfast was great, lots of choice. The rooms were dated but cleaned every day. We had rooms overlooking the pool which were great. We all said we would definitely stay here again. The transfer is a bit long 1.5 hours but you soon forget about that when sat on your sunbed.

Lads holiday and the hotel ticked all the boxes for what we needed. The food was good none of us complained. We even had a vegan in the group and he found something to eat every day. Bar was good. Cocktails beer wine and spirits all free on the all inclusive. Just two cups per order but this very normal at all inclusive hotels. Rooms were nice and cleaned every day. Entertainment isn't very good but as we were on a lads holiday we made our own but if you are relying on entertainment then I'd choose a different hotel. Mixed reviews on the entertainment manager Pablo. Lots of people have reviewed that he likes the younger girls. Could see that that was the case when we stayed. Maybe if you have a younger daughter keep an eye on her if you stay here. Beach is just down the road as well as the main night life. Overall it's a nice hotel for a lads holiday. I would come back with some mates on a cheap all inclusive but it's not a place I'd bring my girlfriend. I think some people that have left bad reviews haven't realised that it is a dead cheap hotel and that's the service you get which is absolutely fair enough. Spend more money if you want better quality.

An honest review We returned home yesterday following a Monday to Friday break The hotel is nice enough and all the staff are very helpful The room and beds were clean and a maid came in every day As long as I have a clean bed I’m happy The bathroom was okay although areas of the grout/sealant around the bath could do with being replaced which made it feel dirty, I quick regrout would go a long way. In my opinion the food was average I found something to eat every meal time but felt there was limited choice, my husband on the other hand found it was adequate . Basically we got what we paid for I’d go back to Cala Millor and maybe this hotel if it was spruced up a bit The pool area was great Point to consider, it was nearly 2 hours on the bus

Tough one this, I don't like being that reviewer but I might have to be. Downstairs the hotel looks good, nice lobby, bar, pool area and restaurant but then you notice it's not quite as good as first looks suggest. The rooms are (for those in the UK) not quite Travelodge, small nothing seems to fit quite properly or move quietly, but the beds are comfy and the Aircon works. The food is ok, that's as good as I can say, very repetitive occasionally awful, sometimes excellent. We don't drink alcohol so the bar was irrelevant apart from it had Pepsi Max on tap so that was handy! The area the hotel is in seems quite backstreet although it's actually only 2 mins from the shopping area and 5/10 from the beach, and Cala Millor and the walk to Cala Bona are quite lovely. Now a few reviews here have suggested Pablo can be a bit of a problem, and unfortunately we'd have to agree, using his "authority" to make people add him on Social Media, offering parties, and other things that just made both my son and his girlfriend (18 yr olds) feel so uncomfortable that they stopped using the bar area and pool unless we were there too. That's really quite unpleasant behaviours.
