Had a all inclusive week in early Sep, the staff are outstanding, friendly and helpful and always smile. The hotel is set back from the bright lights and is well located for an easy walk to one of two adjacent resorts. We opted for the added space of an apartment even though there was only 2 of us and enjoyed the extra space and larger balcony. Pool area is small but enough for the size of hotel. Great stay and would go again, only slight down side is the rooms are starting to look a little dated compared to more modern hotels, and I did feel slightly disappointed at having to pay an extra £21 euro to use the safe in our room. The food was excellent and a good and varied choice every day.
Excellent service from hotel staff including reception/bar/restaurant and cleaning. A great hotel within access to Cala Millor and Sa Coma ( a bit further away). Bring comfortable shoes to visit decent restaurants along the sea front promenade and strip located in the town. Take a pedal buggy to explore the area or the tourist road train that stops next to the hotel and does a circuit to Cala Millor/Sa Coma (sandy beach) and beyond. A nice (smaller than the pictures) outdoor pool (slightly cold) due to the hotel situated near pine trees and slightly shaded. My boys loved the indoor pool and sauna. Perhaps lacking in sports facilities such as basketball or volleyball on the grounds. Recommend a room in Casa 3 near to the restaurant and pool and ask for one near the top floor to avoid aforementioned shade from trees. Breakfast was a good selection. Limited cutlery in room and didn’t get a sense of what was available until I spotted a guide near to the pool area. Reception staff - very accommodating when I had a problem with my card upon arrival and I was able to print the passenger-locator forms for return to UK. I would definitely return again if in the area and thanks for the hospitality…
What an fantastic holiday we had at Mar Blau. The food was great, rooms were very clean, pool was super. Entertainment was also nice to have and COVID measures were very good (mouthmasks, desinfection everywhere, more often change of bed linen and towels) But most important, the staff! 5 stars alone for the employees at Mar Blau, The crew at the restaurant (especially our friend Marina and her colleagues) and Toni, Carmen and Patricia , who made the perfect El Capitano Morgan with diet Coke ;-) Also the very friendly lady lifeguard at the swimmingpool. "So good to have you here" was the quote behind the reception desk. And that felt really true.
We spent 1 week there with 2 children and it was fabolous! The apartment rooms are big and comfortable, the bathroom is also big, the food is various and good, they clean rooms every day. All the staff is very kind and always prepared to help. Thank you to all the waiters and to all at the reception! Maybe not always the best internet connection but at the reception they solve everything you needed.Definitivly we come back!
Hotel staff very helpful in all areas, especially reception who allowed us to print travel documents off for our return to the UK as-well as organising Covid tests on site. Hotel was clean and tidy, rooms were cleaned daily and bedding too. Pool areas were great no issues at all and no problem in sourcing sun loungers and no rush to ensure you got a lounger. My only criticism would be the variety of food, lack of flavour to some dishes and some dishes were not warm enough. We were all inclusive so drinks at the bar were served between 10am to 11pm after this you would have to pay for your drinks till 12pm when the bar closed. Overall we enjoyed our stay at HM Mar Blau and would stay again in the future if we were to visit Sa Coma.
