Where do I start? A fantastic wee hotel owned & run by a lovely couple who were excellent hosts. It is a small boutique hotel with a high standard of customer care, cleanliness and attention to detail which many 5 āļø hotels could learn from.

The place is in the centre of the old town & is walkable to everywhere. There is a bus to the beach at the main lower square which takes you down to the beach. We parked our car in the municipal car park which was within walking distance of the hotel

Breakfast was served in a delightful room over looking the scenic mountains. Everything was fresh made. I canā€™t praise the place high enough. Good value & great experience.

Super central hotel in the town of MojƔcar. We loved the treatment we received, so close, so friendly and always with a smile, something that is rarely seen today. As soon as you enter you see the kindness and courtesy of Alberto and his partner, who are the ones who run this small hotel. They spend a good time explaining everything about the hotel, the town and the area. It is a few meters from an elevator that takes you from the parking area. Everything smells incredibly good, good room and very comfortable bed. We also had a private balcony and the views were spectacular. The breakfast they prepare is not super abundant but it is delicious, all homemade and delicious, also on the hotel terrace while you enjoy the views. For lunch and dinner there are plenty of restaurants around the hotel. In short, a 10, they show the love they give to their clients and their hotel every day so that everything is perfect, that's why we will return 100% sure

Thoroughly enjoyed a 2-nights stay in this exceptionally stylish, spotlessly clean boutique B&B - ideally located in the heart of the old town, with spectacular views and within walking distance of MojĆ”carā€™s restaurants and amenities. The hosts, Miky and Alberto could not be more welcoming, friendly and informative, making our stay a very special one. We highly recommend El Olivar and will certainly be returning there in the future.

My wife and I stayed at the Hostal with Friends last Thursday evening. We were greeted by Alberto who was very helpful and showed us around the accommodation as well as recommending places to eat and drink. The accommodation is located off the main church square which provides easy access to the shops, bars and restaurants that are located in the pueblo. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and the terrace where you have breakfast or drinks (honesty bar) provides excellent panoramic views of the area. Alberto recommended the restaurant la Candela which we visited. The food and service were 10 out of 10.

This beautiful little hotel exceeded our expectations. It was located in a quiet and pretty square in the heart of Mojacar. The hotel was extremely clean and well cared for, our room was very comfortable and came with a very impressive amount of amenities and toiletries. The air conditioning worked great, the view from our private balcony was stunning, the provided breakfast on their roof top terrace overlooking the vista was wonderful and the location was perfect, it gave us easy walking access to all the shops, restaurants and bars of the pueblo whilst still being only a short drive to the beaches along the playa.
The couple that run El Olivar go out of their way to ensure an amazing stay. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Mojacar, we will definitely be booking again!

The treatment was very friendly, the accommodation was super comfortable and perfectly equipped for all kinds of basic needs, including air conditioning, a heating system for winter and also a minibar. Breakfast was included in the reservation and was delicious with a wide variety to choose from. As for the location, it is perfect, since it is right next to an elevator to access with luggage and it is located in the heart of Mojacar.

In short, I would recommend 100%.

This is a really good quality little hotel, very reasonably priced. The rooms are clean, bright and airy. The breakfast is good and the two terraces have lovely views over the town and surrounding hillsides to the sea. They have an honesty bar so you can have a drink and pay as you go. The 10 euros for parking under the hotel is well worth the expense. Very friendly helpful service on everything.

What an amazing place. I canā€™t recommend it enough. Fabulous hosts, beautiful views, beds are so comfy and you MUST try the homemade pear jam on your croissants for breakfast. A lovely hotel where nothing is too much trouble and you have a lovely warm welcome.

Alberto and Nicci we're wonderful hosts. Extremely welcoming and friendly. The location is stunning ... Fabulous views and right in the heart of the village. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped and we had a balcony with table and chairs that overlooked the town with views of the hills and countryside beyond. This is more of a boutique hotel than a hostel and the atmosphere created by Alberto and Nicci is very calming. Our breakfast was always very good (Nicci's home made orange jam!). We are cyclists and the best thing was a dedicated area to keep our bikes ... It even had a pump for our tyres! Honestly can't recommend Hostal El Olivar highly enough.

Very nice and beautifully located hotel. Personal reception, perhaps not the largest room but quite enough. Comfortable bed but if you are used to a duvet each, it is better to book two single beds to avoid trouble.
The breakfast was divine, freshly made croissants along with homemade pear jam tasted lovely. Highly recommended.
