Just back from this hotel..don't get me wrong a beautiful location and plenty to do. The hotel is right on the beach and the pool is lovely. Food is great, a set served dinner and a buffet breakfast. Rooms are just right if a little bijou. Now the reason for my lower rating the staff. The more junior staff seem terrified of doing wrong but are very friendly if they think no-one ie management are watching. However the other managers are downright rude. In fact I felt uncomfortable. In particular a staff member called matteo. I actually spent too much of my holiday talking about how rude he was and hostile. I am a woman and he actually barged into me on 2 particular occasions. He knew i was onto him and it was subtly on purpose, couldn't believe it. I would have had a perfect holiday if not for the undercurrent of arrogance and snobbery. I was a manager in Adare manor and if any guests were treated this way, it would be an embarrassment. Shame on them for making us feel this way. We spent a little bit more on our holiday as my husband had just beaten cancer and Italy was always a destination we wanted to go to. Aah well, stick to France, have never had this experience there over 10 years.

First visit to this hotel. A nostalgic return to Lido di Jesolo for our Ruby Wedding Anniversary as we had spent our honeymoon in the resort 40 years ago. Hotel exceeded expectations and is much better than it appears on-line. Perfect location on the seafront with private beach access and great heated swimming pool with sunbeds that can be reserved at reception without having to be up at dawn. Service was excellent, staff really friendly and food very good. A really great Anniversary trip.

Review collected in partnership with Jet2holidays
This review is long overdue as we stayed in June 2018 and only got to it now as have just booked to return to Hotel Cambridge this year again. The hotel is very well situated in the Lido di Jesolo with direct key card access to the lovely beach and it's own stretch of free sunbeds. The hotel pool itself is well presented with water jets that you can select for a massage after a long day doing nothing. The beds at the pool deck cost €3 for the day but then you can come/go as you please. The rooms are compact but have everything including small fridge, safe, air con & electric external shutters to keep it cool at night. The Bathroom has hairdryer (don't be in a rush, it's slow) and also has a continental and handily, a UK/IRL style 3 pin electrical socket. Beds most comfortable. Sheets/towels changed regularly. Key card slot activates a little light outside the door so staff know when you're in before entering. All rooms have at least a side sea view and balcony. We never had any problem with noise at night. The food was excellent, varied and should suit most tastes. Buffet breakfast on the pool deck was a lovely start to the day. The pool area also served light lunches. Dinner had a serve yourself starter then table service of two courses which you selected from a menu and also dessert. Each day at dinner you get the menu for the next day and select from a good choice. Drinks also selected on this. Then when you arrive for dinner your drinks are already there waiting and chilled. Smart dress expected for dinner, no shorts etc. Waiting staff are so helpful and friendly all wearing uniform and white gloves. Several times during the week the owner (The President) circulated the tables at dinner to chat with the guests and give a free drink which was a lovely touch. There was music in the bar area some nights, easy listening, keyboard/vocals. Bicycles could be hired at no charge which was a great way to see the area. Locally the beach is very clean and well served with WC & shower facilites. There were also mobile carts serving drinks etc. which moved along the beach. The walkway between the hotels and the beach is well lit flat and you can walk for miles. The main street in Lido closes to traffic at night so everyone can walk the streets and window shop. Plenty of restaurant/cafe choices. Also free music events in the open some nights. The city is a short distance by bus/boat from Venice and transport tickets can be got from the local tobacconists. It makes for a nice day trip. As said at the start, we're very much looking forward to returning to Hotel Cambridge this June.

Stayed here in September with my daughter on half board basis. We had an absolutely excellent time. The staff in the hotel couldn't have been more polite & friendly. Service was astounding. Rooms perhaps a little small but absolutely spotless clean. Buffet before dinner was excellent, very tasty & great choices. Choices for starter & dinner simple but very tasty too. Pool was warm & spotless too. Jesolo is a lovely spot for holiday, great choice of shops & restaurants. Would highly recommend a stay

We stayed I the hotel for 8 nights. Service was excellent , food was small menus but catered for my celiac requirements and had good variety. The cleanliness was second to none every morning top to toe it was cleaned Inside and out. The helpfulness of everyone was great as we had never visited before. The young people with us were always well respected and safe in the surrounds. The town itself I would also recommend to come back to.i would have no hesitation I recommending this hotel and staff as first class
