We stayed at the resort at the end of October and were thoroughly impressed. We knew it was a 5* resort, but that doesn't truly prepare your for the quality of the hotel, food, facilities and service. The breakfast was plentiful, the evening meals (which we tried twice) and the lunches (once) were of an excellent quality. The spa facilities were peaceful and calming - just what is needed to unwind after time in Venice. The treatments were also of a high quality. We did have a couple of issues at breakfast, likely caused by the timing of lots of people at the same time - but these were well handled by the team. I'm also grateful for assistance in locating and returning an important item after we have returned home. A different class of hotel. Many thanks for an excellent stay.…
Superb 5 star service from all the staff with great facilities in the hotel. However it is right on the end of this part of Lido which meant a bit of a walk every night. There are also two separate buildings out the front of the hotel (never did find out what they are,) which partially block the view of the beach. The hotel photographs don't fully show this. If you go there be aware of these points.
We stayed at this Hotel for 5 nights in August after our previous hotel turned into a bust. The difference in price was significant, the difference in quality was incomparable. Breakfast has a full selection of almost anything one would want to eat, and one would struggle to maintain a diet at this buffet. If I was to be very picky there was not enough staff at the breakfast at times and the tables were not always set correctly, which meant you needed to search for condiments at times, but that is very picky. The rooms were very well sound proofed with great space and views down to the pool area. Bathrooms are a very good size and the room is equipped with everything that you would need. There is a good sized balcony with a table a chairs and a sun lounger. We had an issue with an unpleasant smell from the bathroom, which we reported to the reception a couple of times, but the issue was not resolved by the time we left. We have had this issue in every Jesolo hotel and may reflect more on the construction of the sewage system than the hotel. The wellness area is expansive and features every treatment you could want. The outdoor pool is by far the longest pool that I have seen and was never full. The spa had great treatments. We ate at the pool terrace restaurant a few times, but only once at the main evening restaurant. The food was well presented and quite fancy but not to our taste and we preferred the easy walk into the town rather than eat there a second time. The bar was very good and we enjoyed nightcaps there. When we go back to Jesolo next year this hotel will be our first choice.…
This is the first time we have stayed here, but it wont be our last. This is the best hotel we have stayed in. It is a gorgeous property with outstanding spa facilities on the beach. The staff are amazing - they attend to your every need and work seemlessly and tirelessly with such attention to detail and always with a smile. The food was always great as well as the drinks. I would definitely recommend. Thank you for making our holiday perfect.
It’s been 3 days since we got home from spending a week at Almar. To say we have holidays blues in an understatement! It was a week of heaven, as soon as we arrived we were greeted by the beautiful Monica who gave us such a warm welcome & showed us around. She particularly made a fuss of my young daughter Valentina who absolutely adored Monica & keeps asking to go back & see her. The hotel is immaculately clean, modern, it’s beautiful. Heated pools, a spa, lots if facilities & loved all the fresh towels available by the pool & on the private beach. The staff are wonderful & can’t do enough for you, they always have a smile on their faces & happy to help. We especially miss Alberto C at breakfast, he always greeted us with the biggest smile & looked after us very well. It’s the real 5 star experience here & its the staff that make it so memorable. The location of the hotel is fantastic, beach front & a short walk from the town with lots of shops & restaurants. We travelled to Venice, Verona & Garda from here, which the front desk staff helped with & arranged. I can’t fault the place at all, it really is amazing & we are looking to come back in May something which we never do as I get bored staying in the same place twice but Almar is special! Thank you all for giving us the best holiday we could ask for & we hope to see you again very soon!…
The facilities at this hotel are lovely. Large, comfortable rooms which are well appointed. Would recommend selecting your room type carefully. Our ‘garden view’ was in fact a car park view room. The location is away from the heart of Jessolo but there are bikes available for easy access. It must also be noted that there are two large apartment blocks which block the sea view and restrict sunbathing at the hotel pool. The hotel food is delicious and reasonable but the drinks are expensive. Breakfast choice is excellent although the food was not always hot and service was slow at busy times. The charge for water in the fridge at €6 for a bottle was excessive and it was not immediately apparent that they were not complimentary. Local recommendations for dining are La Gardenia. There is a hair salon and nail bar close by, Non Solo Rosso which provides a gel manicure - currently not available at the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Overall would recommend this hotel.…
We are just back from our long delayed honeymoon in the Almar. From the moment we walked through the doors we were so well looked after. The staff are so lovely and helpful, especially Giorgia who recommended fantastic restaurants and made reservations for us. The rooms were so clean, comfortable and spacious. The breakfast buffet was amazing, missing it already!
We have just returned from our honeymoon at Almar Jesolo and could not recommend it more! The staff are very welcoming and friendly, speak good English, and just cannot do enough for you. I have food allergies and they reassured me that these could be catered for, and adapted the dishes to suit me. They arranged our airport transfers and were very quick at responding to emails ahead of our arrival. We had a great couples massage also which I would definitely recommend! The room was very clean and well presented. If I had to make a suggestion for improvement it would be for the gym to have some aircon - it was very stuffy and hot working out in there even at 7am. Thank you for a great stay!
My family and I stayed in the hotel for 10 days and the staff were extremely nice!! They speak English, French, German and Romanian. The rooms were cleaned very well daily, the spa is a dream and they gave my dad a cute cake on his birthday!! The atmosphere was very pleasant, the pool is clean and has both indoors and outdoors. There is a private beach space for the guests and it’s also very nice. In conclusion, you’ll love it there!!
Came here to celebrate my sister’s 30th Birthday This hotel is truly lovely. The staff at reception are very warm and friendly. I emailed the hotel prior to the visit to organise airport transfer. Which was €150 for a return trip. When we arrived at the airport the taxi was ready to take us to Almar (easy Peasy). If you’re travelling light there is a public bus which goes from Marco Airport to Lido di Jesolo and the hotel is about 30mins walk. Which is very straightforward or you can take the bus (about 5mins for Lido di Jesolo). We booked a 4 night stay and were looking for a luxury hotel and spa. This hotel delivered on both. It has a stunning spa, in which we enjoyed massages as a treat. The spa smells gorgeous and the lovely staff are there to welcome you with nice drinks of tea and lovely snacks post massage. The spa has lovely big swimming pools, steam rooms, saunas, comfortable loungers around the pools. A real 5 star experience. The hotel room was perfect with an amazing sea view. I managed to get a special deal which offered free bottle of Prosecco, money of the spa treatment and a sea view room. This was just what I wanted. The balcony offers a sun lounger and a little seating area. The hotel breakfast was lovely and efficient. With lots of lovely options to eat and nice places to sit indoors and outside. My sister even had a celebration cake brought to her for her birthday which was a lovely touch from the hotel. There are loads of places to eat and drink in the easy to get around area of Jesolo. I didn’t have dinner or lunch as I wanted to explore the area. I imagine the hotel dinner would be lovely. There’s food outside for all budgets as well as supermarkets and bars. If you fancy a trip to Venice city the hotel can organise a taxi to the port where you collect the water ferry TBH we used the local buses (thanks to the hotel reservation team- they were happy to explain the route). You can buy bus tickets from the local shops for about €1.50. Venice was very busy so I was pleased to return to Jesolo to carry on a relaxing break. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I am looking to become a regular guest as of that amazing. The hotel rooms do not have usb charging points, so would definitely advise bring an Italian plug or getting the right adapter to charge devices. I would also recommend snacks and a cocktail at the bar (about €13 each including little snacks to share) this was great as we arrived east from our flight.…
