We only went here a couple of nights, the staff were friendly, the bedrooms were clean and had a balcony. The hotel is only a 2 minute walk from the beach so that's ideal. However when we wanted to make the most of our sunbeds which are reserved to our hotel we came across an unruly group of school children who had taken all of the three front rows up. We had been told they often do checks to make sure everyone who's using them has a right to, but nobody came and screaming children throwing sand were there all day! We did however get to use their bikes for free, all day. This was very practical as we managed to see a lot more than we would have on foot. I wouldn't recommend paying for food here though. We got 2 days with breakfasts and dinners which was definitely a mistake because the food wasn't three star quality. I believe some of it was cooked in the microwave. It was bland, overcooked and soggy. The breakfast was nice with various choices of fruit juice, yogurts, bacon, eggs and stuffed croissants. But I do not recommend the dinner! I would have given 3 stars but the bikes made up for it!…
Room was really nice and clean, balconies facing to east or west. In addition to usual continental breakfast they have a great variety of croissants and jams and even soya and rice milk. There's a good supermarket (In's Mercato) close to hotel (Via Ippolito Pindemonte, 16), 6 min walking. Some fruits for breakfast were not washed properly. When we asked to clean them, these fruits were taken to kitchen and not returned. AC for extra charge (5 €/day). No beach towels, but there are a lot of shops nearby to buy one (8-10 €).
We only used the restaurant at the front of the hotel. Good menu with lots of choice. The prawn salad starter was very big and the swordfish main was very nice. My wife had the tuna which she enjoyed. Even though the restaurant wasn't overly busy the service was pretty slow for ordering extra drinks etc.
Good hotel location with very nice restorant. Small rooms with terrible toilets can turn your vacation into a nightmare. Sitting on the toilet or a bidet, you can bathe in the same time and dusche - little room size less than one square meter. The room on the left side of the hall are located above the kitchen with its horrible fish smell, smoking waiters and noise of plates and spoons.
We visited the restaurant for some dinner. Food was of a very good quality and staff service was very good. The free salad bar they advertise is very minimal. Lettuce and few tomatoes. Nothing grand. I've seen quite a few restaurants further up with a nicer salad bar which had peppers, onions, olives, sweetcorn, lettuce, cucumber and nice tomatoes. Food overall was nice but it would've been good to have a nicer salad bar than some boring old lettuce and tomatoes.
Cute place. Good location to places to eat and activities. Wifi works best in late evenings and early mornings. Breakfast at the hotel was pretty good. Dinner was ok. Rooms were nice and small. Bathrooms were small, but nice. Small balconies, but unable to see the beach. Beach is a short walk. Great area!
The hotel is plain but nice, in a good locaton 100m from the beach. Rooms small but clean, the real down side of the rooms though is that the shower is onto the bathroom floor and over the toilet literally! So water goes every where!!! Annoying if you are going to use the bathroom more than once in a day. The double bed is also far from special made of two single mattress put together which leaves an uncufortable whole in the middle of the bed. The staff are nice nothing special though. We had dinner and two breakfasts while there. The breakfast was your typical budget continental, with very average coffee. The dinner is not even worth considering, we had a three course meal and we both got soming different and out of the six dishes we were given only the chocolate ice cream would have got a rating of 5 out of 10. Everything thing was out of a tin and or very very budget you would get better quality and value going to Macdonalds or any other low budget take away food place. If you skip the food the place is passable for a night or two but I will not be going back.…
We have chosen this hotel due to its high rating in Tripadvisor. And after staying there for 8 nights in September 2014 (5 people, 2 families) we can confirm that the hotel really deserves its high position. No doubt that there are better hotels in the resort but in case of Torino the quality/price ratio seems to be very hard to beat. The staff was always attentive to our needs. As one of us was a vegetarian they suggested modifying his dishes so that they would not contain fish or meat. We had not a slightest problem with language: at the reception they spoke very good English, and one waitress in the restaurant spoke perfect Russian (we are from Russia). When departing we were in a hurry (the bus arrived before the scheduled time) so we couldn’t properly say our thanks to the staff. So I would like to do it now.…
Stayed at this facility for six nights and seven days. Over all experience was decent. A perfect location to hub from to get in and out of Rome. The Metro is close by and plenty of places to eat. I wasn't really to happy with the Italian type of courtesy. Felt like being a tourist in Rome is rough. People is not to friendly.
