Showers are a bit small, rooms retain the period '70s radio, lift is small and painfully slow, but there is much to be happy about here. Firstly, the restaurant, bar and reception are great. The staff are friendly and helpful, parking is never a problem, and the food is well worth it. Wifi is available in all rooms free, and...

I've slept a few times here, always for work, always for just one night, always in winter or spring… At a quite affordable price, I've found kindness, a good service, very clean rooms and bathrooms with good level classic furnitures. It would be nicer if rooms would have less cold colors, they could look a bit cozier. I always wanted...

Very nice and comfortable hotel. The SPA is relaxing, especially after one day to visit the entire town. During the summer is possible to stay in the swimming pool to drink something. Moreover the food is very good especially the mushroom and truffle. I can suggest this hotel to all people that want to spent some days in Città di...

The hotel offers good standard , maybe the rooms could be larger but the staff is so pleasant ,helpful and able to satisfy every request that it is easy to feel at home. I suggest to stay in the Garden Hotel also for dinner. Well located ( bikes at disposal,), swimming pool, and spa can solve free time during a...

As noted previously, this is an older hotel and somewhat worn around the edges. It is approximately 1 k. From the historic centre so inconvenient unless one wishes to drive in. The front desk service was very good and helpful and the rooms were clean comfortable, and average for a European hotel of the calibre. Did not use the spa...

A large party of us stayed at the Garden Hotel as we were in Citta di Castelli for a wedding. We found the staff helpful, the rooms were not too spacious but were well equipped and cleaned daily to a high standard. We ate in the restaurant twice and the food was excellent and not too pricey. Breakfast was buffet...

Hotel Garden claims four stars, but three is a stretch, in my opinion. It is a large contemporary building on the edge of town, a 1.5 km walk into the wonderful old town. It has no character at all, but staff on the desk were very helpful and wifi is free. My single room was small and furnishings were tired....

I last stayed at this hotel in November 2012, but my husband and I have used it quite a few times over the years, the rooms are a little small and the showers really do need upgrading it seems they have concentrated on the health and beauty side and not enough on the rooms. There is only one family room...

The hotel is clearly over stated, I will give a 2,5 stars, but never 4 stars. The website says a short walk to the center but in reality it is a good walk. The room was smelly because of old carpet. in fact, the whole hotel is very old and if you take the stairs instead of the lift, you...

I always take these reviews with a pinch of salt, so I thought I'd take time to write a resume of my holiday in Citta di Castello. So, what of the hotel? It's not exactly easy to find even with Sat-Nav and our taxi driver had a few 'moments' before finally finding it tucked away just off the main road....
