We (four adults and two children) stayed here at the beginning of June, and after reading the previous reviews, were expecting something really special. This sadly was not the case. The villa was undoubtedly beautiful in its day, but now it's poorly maintained, cold, badly equipped, and the proprietors pathetically bad amateur art literally covers every available wall space (even... I was really impressed by the significant quality standard of Italian hospitality and classy atmosphere of this property. Ideal for a stay in one of the most attractive countryside landscapes in Europe. The owner Rodolfo is a perfect host, in the sense that he makes you feel really special in a very relaxed and friendly manner. The mix of art,... More

My team and me spent some very relaxing, nice days at Villa Torre Alberghieri. Stefania and her husband were exceptional hosts, helping me from the initial organization over a great stay with a self-cooked dinner, and a fantastic wine tasting, up until helping me with the invoice and taking care that everything is perfectly organized. The villa itself is very... More

We spent 15 days in Stefania's small villa with our baby girl. We loved it. The location is good (not too far from Florence) and in the middle of the Chianti (which allowed us to visit different vineyards). If you choose this villa, make sure to ask Stefania's husband for a wine tasting (since there is a vineyard on the... More

I was visiting Florence and wanted to take a drive out into the wine country.I contacted a local guide, Michelle Collaco who thoughtfully planned a lovely afternoon for us which ended with an unbelievable meal and wine tasting in this amazing XVII century villa managed by Rodolfo Guarnieri. The house is right out of a country living magazine and the... More

*This review is not for an overnight stay, just a 2 hour tour and private tasting The 6 of us visited on a day trip from Florence and received a private tour of the grounds, the winery and the estate. It was a beautiful setting naturally and the most recent winemaker is primarily an artist, so the two go well... More

Our family spent a day with the owners and were treated like members of their family. The food is wonderful and the wine is spectacular. There are bottles of wine painted by Rodolfo Guarnieri, resident artist and owner, one of which will become a special wedding gift to our daughter and her new husband. We sent their wine to the... We stayed here in October, 2012. We stayed in one of the little houses that they rent. They are the most wonderful hosts. They made our vacation there so perfect. It was my favorite placed that we stayed throughout Italy. They have wonderful wines there. We actually bought a few bottles to bring back.

We toured Villa La Torre when we went for wine-tasing. It's a wonderful villa with beautiful grounds. We saw the apartments for rent and went to the top of the watch tower. I'd highly recommend this villa not far from Florence, Italy.
