We had a lovely stay in this agriturismo. We’ve never met a host like Giovanni, always kind and best hospitality! The check in was amazing: best (homemade) wine and lovely view. The location is like a dream with the best view all over Toscane. From the agriturismo you can visit Chianti, Siena, Florence and other great villages. The agriturismo is really nice and clean. There is a pool and even a heated jacuzzi. We will recommend this place to everybody!! A definite must visit.
What a piece of heaven this place is ❤️ Giovanni takes perfect care of the estate, his guests and the products from his agriculture - passione as he says. Our apartment, the largest of them with five bedrooms, was spacious, clean and comfortable. Three doubles and two twins, three bathrooms and a open kitchen and living room. Private terrasse with wonderful views of the garden and surrounding hills and valley. Wonderful pool area, flowers, wine yards and olive trees all around. Giovanni makes delicious white and red wine, as well as olive oil. He will greet you with a taste of the wines and some local food, and give great tips for what to experience in Tuscany and the Chianti area. We can’t wait to come back here 🥰
A place where you can enjoy the great Tuscan countryside. Quiet, well taken care of and with great wines, oil and Il grande Giova! A lovely swimmingpool, not too many children, and great quiet evenings under the stars. Mi piace molto!
Spend just one night in old hayloft in Il Colle in late October. The place itself is amazing. The accommodation in old hayloft outstanding, perfectly clean, and modern. Giovanni the host provided very nice and friendly wine tasting for us. Highly recommended.
Il Colle . Hmm. Our favourite part of our whole trip to Italy was spending 7 days with Giovanni at Il Colle. We got lost getting there, but Giovanni came to fetch us and guide us to this really quiet peaceful Agriturismo. It looks out of the way, but its really close to the AutoStrada and some great tourist locations. Giovanni has a real passion for his business, for his wine, his olives and his clients. Nothing was too much trouble. If you can spend more than one night here - DO. So peaceful, so rural. We stayed in Apartment Eleonora -a little unit by itself with its own patio, where we could hear the roosters crow in the mornings, watch the sun come up over Poggio Alla Croce. We were advised to go to Vito's Trattoria for dinner, and Giovanni also organised for a cooking class for my wife there. Hospitality was excellent. Highly recommended -Il Colle is a great agriturismo, but its the Passion that Giovanni has for his land, his friends, his olives and grapes that make this very special. Some minor things missing like the washing machine not working, but Giovanni tried to put things right, made contact every day, made sure we felt part of the experience. We would recommend Il Colle, and will go back there next time we're in Tuscany. Easy drive to Greve, Panzano, Strada and S.Polo…
