We travelled for a month in Umbria and Southern Tuscany and this place was the highlight. Poggio all'Olmo was a bit difficult for our GPS; however, once we turned off the main road out of Greve there was a reassuring sign which told us how far up the road we needed to go. Don't be put off when you get...

My partner and I have stayed here in June every year for the last decade. We have travelled elsewhere in Italy but have yet to discover anywhere as nice and as good value. Francesca is a warm and thoughtful host and her English is good. It is wonderfully peaceful and beautiful with fabulous views and a stunning pool area. You...

Where shall I begin?! Simply put, Poggio all'olmo is not just a wonderful place to unwind, relax, and tour the beautiful Chianti, but it is a once in lifetime experience in itself. It is so amazing to hear absolute silence while looking out on olive trees, vineyards, and rolling hillsides. The grounds are beautifully tended to and every inch you...

Situated among picturesque Tuscany hills, a tuck out of sight sits Poggio all'Olmo. The hostess was very nice, friendly and personable. We've got into a bit of road trouble and arrived late and she stayed up for us and even gave us some food and wine because everything else was already closed that night. She made a very traumatic trip...

After climbing our way through the hills of Cinque Terre and exploring the beautiful city of Lucca we found our way to Poggio all' ollmo and and seemed as though we found our way home! Our apartment was just we had imagined... and better! We enjoyed our Tuscany home base as we spent several days exploring the Chianti hill country...

Just fabulous. This place is a true hidden gem. (And yes, the double-entendre is that it is a bit hard to find--but shouldn't these be, by definition?) I was traveling solo and looking for some peace and quiet after a very hectic working week in Rome. I stayed 3 nights. It is so very secluded and peaceful here. What sets...

We have returned from our third trip to Tuscany and our third stay at Poggio all'Olmo. As the other reviews have said: the views are breathtaking; the air is clean and crisp; the accommodations are better than any agriturisimo in Tuscany. The experience brings a calming effect to everyone who stays here. And your hostess, Francesca, is more than you...

We just returned home from our trip in Italy. Poggio all'Olmo was sadly, our last and shortest stop. The property sits on a hill with beautiful views in all directions. It did not disappoint but rather exceeded our expectations. We stayed in a double room with a private bathroom and a cosy kitchenette. Room and bathroom was spacious and very,...

We have recently had a second wonderful stay at Poggio all'Olmo. Set in the most stunning Tuscan countryside Poggio all'Olmo has the most beautiful vistas from every window. The tranquility of the setting is breathtaking - views to Panzano in Chianti with its perfect church high on the hill. Wild boar and deer on the windy road up from Greve...
