Michèle greeted us with kindness and was full of great recommendations, with a car there is lots of things to do! Our highlights include dinner in Lucarelli, Florence, Siena, wine tasting in Greve, the cashmere goat farm and visiting castles and churches in all the surrounding little Tuscan towns! If you like the peaceful countryside this is a must stay,... More

We stayed only one night, and we knew nothing about Il Cielo, but from the very beginning we felt we have arrived to a very special place… The location is good, both to explore the Chianti area, but also to enjoy nature, as the house is outside town next to vineyards in the countryside. The room is fantastic, we slept... More

Il Cielo is located mid way between Florence and Siena and was a perfect base for us to explore the Region. Michele is a great host and gave us lots of advice on places to see. The little outdoor kitchen, partly stocked with breads, jams, tea/coffee and eggs enabled us to prepare our own breakfasts and not have to eat... More

This was so much more than a just place to stay. This was a serene and peaceful experience, part of a beautiful property and a relationship with a wonderful host. We received a warm welcome by Michele including a tray of coffee, water and fresh fruit from the garden, as well as a sit down session to go over recommendations... More

After just returning from our trip to Italy, I can without a doubt say that our stay at Michèle was definitely one of the best. It was a very nice room - perfect for two and with a little terrace outside, where we had her amazing homemade breakfast. Michèle was very helpful both before and during our stay. She helped... We have been delighted to stay in Cielo Bio at Michèle and her family. The house is at the end of a dirt road with a river on one side and a vineyard to the other, which means that you live in quiet and very relaxing surroundings. The only neighbor is a wonderful local restaurant, which is very handy if... More

We had the pleasure to stay at at Chianti Bio B&B. Michele was very friendly and polite. The room you went is actually part of her home. You are provided your own entrance, bathroom and separate backyard section. Michele provided us with fresh organic food such as yogurt, bread, jam, and eggs. She was very good and recommending local activities... More

Michele made us feel very welcome at her warm, cozy apartment at the back of her home on this small, beautiful farm near Greve. The location was easy to find, and close to Greve and Panzano. Michele went out of her way to help us with an itinerary, and make sure our needs were taken care of. She even baked... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
"Il Cielo bio" is the smallest bed and breakfast in the Chianti... You will be the only guests in this little piece of paradise! Away from traffic, noise and artificial light pollution, B&B Il Cielo is located against a magical background of woods, streams and vineyards. B&B Il Cielo is between Panzano and Greve in Chianti within easy reach of art-filled cities such as Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Lucca and Pisa. Our B&B is a Tuscan-style loggia with exposed beams and terracotta tiles in a rustic barn recently restored in an environmentally-friendly manner. The cosy double room stays cool in summer and warm in winter, and has a private bathroom with shower box, mosquito screens on windows and the door, a private entrance and garden with a table and umbrella. A small outdoor kitchenette with refrigerator, kettle and simple cookers makes it possible to prepare breakfast and simple meals. The garden between the wood and vineyards is ideal for spending a restful day. With a bit of luck, you will see the wild animals that live nearby, including deer, squirrels, wild boar, rabbits, porcupines, hoopoes, cuckoo, foxes, birds of prey and many others. The atmosphere at B&B Il Cielo is friendly and peaceful. Professional Shiatsu treatments are available in the house or under the sky. Organic products for breakfast are available upon request. Guests may park at the B&B, or arrive to Greve by SITA bus from Florence. We offer free Wi-Fi. Our guests appreciate: - the welcome - the familiar and peaceful atmosphere - the tranquillity - the nature and the bird's sound - to be the only guests - the genuineness - hearty hospitality - the good advise - your own garden - the kitchenette under the sky - the good sleeping quality - the possibility to communicate in English, Italian, French and German - Shiatsu treatments - the shower box - mosquito screens on door and windows ... ... and the home made organic products for breakfast! ... more   less
