Villa-Farm "Poggio Tre Lune" is unique in its concept and type. The initial structure dates back to 15th century and has had several functional improvements, including the Tower, that was under development until the 20th century. Even though the Villa is close to Florence, it is surrounded by 47 hectares of land and it is very close to one of the most important Outlet Centres in Europe. The Villa is only 17km away from Florence and 3.2 Km from the railway station which connects it with Florence and others historical cities, and less than 9 km from the A1 highway ("Autostrada del Sole") , Incisa Valdarno exit. The several careful improvements made to the buildings, carried out so as to improve living comfort, and the practice of the Farm's daily activities, have resulted in an architectural structure which perfectly fits the surrounding landscape, being well defined and functional because it is composed of several different buildings that are nicely integrated and independent, surrounded by a large garden with trees.

A fabulous location for this apartment which sleeps 8, set in beautifully kept grounds with infinity pool, tower house, terrace, bbq, private outside eating area, tremendous views and easily accessible for Florence and only hour drive to Pisa and Lucca. We have a perfect Tuscan holiday in Tre Lune... Friendly, caring hosts who really want you to feel at home. We stayed in 'patio' with a private terrace, which is convenient for our 3year old. Highly recommended!

Lovely place and the views are breathtaking. The hosts were so friendly and helpful and spoke amazing English. The pool was wonderful and despite a full house in summer rarely felt crowded. Living/dining room was a bit cramped but considering the age of the property that’s not surprising. Washers are available at an extra 5Euro per use but no dryers. Like most of Europe no window screens and no air conditioning, so hot and lots of bugs in August. Loved the leave good but uneaten food share - I hate to see food go to waste.

My family and I stayed here for a week and it was absolutely wonderful! The family that owns this former winery is absolutely amazing and helpful. Matteo and Enrico were happy to answer any questions we had and to make suggestions and reservations at local restaurants for us. They have an amazing organic vegetable garden that guests were encouraged to pick from to make meals at the villa. They also sell their own wine, olive oil and dried pasta. The week we stayed, they also organized a tasting night of local organic honey, cheese, bread and wine. The location is perfect as it is not too far from town to pick up groceries or to catch the train. You really don't have to go out to eat as there is a large barbeque area with shaded seating, a terrace that overlooks the valley and surrounding hills and there are kitchens in most of the living areas. Florence is a twenty minute train ride away, and you can catch connecting trains to other popular spots in Italy from there. A round-trip ticket to Florence was around 8 Euros. The owners also provide you with parking information for Florence should you decide to take your car instead. We would highly recommend Poggio Tre Lune to anyone who is looking for an alternative to a hotel stay in Florence.

We stayed at Villa Poggio for a few days and it was exactly what we were looking for! There's nothing more relaxing than swimming in an infinity pool with an absolute amazing view or lying beside it on a sun bed and reading a book! Also the garden surrounding the villa breathes serenity. The apartment was spacious for the 5 of us and offered everything we needed. On Friday the hosts prepare a dinner for the guests who want to participate and the food was delicious! If you have young children I would make sure to mention this whilst making the booking. Our children had a wonderful time at Villa Poggio but the apartments are attached to one another and I can imagine other guests were confronted with some early morning playing when they would have wanted to sleep in...
