We stayed for two nights whilst visiting the Romana del Castle. It was very good value and the service and quality of the food was excellent, we had two evening meals as well as breakfast. There is a very good swimming pool and various other recreational facilities. Richard UK

The Villa Trigona is in an ideal location for visiting the Villa Romana del Casale in Piazza Amerina, and has an old world rustic charm. My husband and I were delighted and honoured to meet the owner who lives in the hotel and is 87 years old. The outstanding feature is the swimming pool, huge, spotlessly clean and in a... More

The Villa Trigona was a good place to stay for visiting the spectacular mosaics and for exploring the nearby countryside. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The rooms are spacious and clean. Our room was next to the billiards rooms and it became very noisy when a game was being played. We enjoyed the nice breakfast buffet in the... More

I was a little split over how to review this Villa . On one hand it was very clean , relatively cheap and the evening meal good value . On the other hand we left feeling that it could be so much better . Some attention to the decor ( our room was bright blue ! ) removal of the... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night, although we didn't partake in the dinner, our stay was great. We arrived in the evening and the whole family was there and greeted us. I don't think there were any other guests, so we were able to choose our room (we chose the bigger of the two choices, but the... More

Beautiful old country house, with antiques and art work that take you back to a simpler time. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Lovely hikes nearby. Also, delicious meals, including dinner and breakfast.

We stayed 2 nights at Villa Trigona. It is just outside of the town of Piazza Armerina on a piece of land that is large enough for a guest to take a short walk without leaving the property. Villa Trigona is in an old, Sicilian manor house. The hotel is attractive, clean and comfortable, and some of the staff members... More

We were very happy with our 3 night stay at Villa Trigona. I love these old characterful properties with tall ceilings and fairly large rooms. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We ate at the villa for all 3 nights; it was 25 Euros pp, including wine and liqueur. There is no choice but we were brought a... More

I stayed here by chance, and really lucked out. It is a wonderful place to stop over when seeing the mosaics, and avoids the nightmare of driving in Piazza Armerina. Villa Trigona is still owned by the Trigona family, so staying here makes you feel as if you are the privileged guest at a house party; you are made feel... More
