This is a charming old house where you are treated like a house guest. It is a quiet place to recover from the visual spleandour of the Mosaics at Piazza Armerina. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms modern and it is very quiet. There is a lovely swimming pool and a good breakfast on the terrace. Dinner is also available...

We had a one night stop over. The Villa is located on the outskirts of town in pleasant grounds. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. We dined in and enjoyed a very good dinner, accompanied by some tasty Sicilian wine. Service was very good and provided by our good humoured waiter from Gambia. Very good value for money. Breakfast featured many...

At first sight the villa is very charming and you feel like you are walking into an old Italian manor house. According to the villa, it was originally built in the late 700s and renovated at least a few times. Our room also fit that motif with an antique dresser and closet. Giant windows open up onto the courtyard. The...

Agree with our New Zealand friends - great to meet you - this wonderful villa had everything we were looking for - apart from wall to wall sunshine, which was a shame because we made limited use of the fantastic and large pool. Our room was good, the staff were great and there was a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was...

We really enjoyed Villa Trigona. A very pleasant place to stop for a couple of nights. Our room was very comfortable. The staff are unfailingly cheerful and helpful. Breakfasts are terrific and the evening meals are an absolute treat as well as being incredibly good value. Commend this place to others without hesitation.

The best thing about this place is the quality of the hospitality. The staff is superb. We ended up here at the last minute with a toddler, and we were warmly welcomed. The dinner a very nice 4 course meal with wine for €25. The grounds are not extensive but pleasant, the interior is comfortable and old fashioned. Breakfast was...

It doesn't get better than this. Trigona is a beautiful villa set down in a lovely quiete peaceful setting. A wonderful man runs the place and he and his associate are extremely helpful and accommodating in every way possible. Trigona is clean and ornately furnished in a country style. It's a fairly large estate a has a ping pin table...

The Villa Trigona is in an ideal location for visiting the Villa Romana del Casale in Piazza Amerina, and has an old world rustic charm. My husband and I were delighted and honoured to meet the owner who lives in the hotel and is 87 years old. The outstanding feature is the swimming pool, huge, spotlessly clean and in a...
