We stayed at this lovely architectural gemwhile on a tour of Camanpia and the Amalfi Coast last spring. The entire complex is quite new and moden, but designed to fit into the countryside as if it had been there forever. The family who run it are wonderful, and the views of the entire valley are breathtaking. The sunsets are spectacular!...

I stayed at the Borgo as part of the Feast on History "Walking and Cooking in Campania" tour in October of 2015. My trip was absolutely amazing and the Borgo served as a lovely home-base for our travels. Antonio and Arianna are gracious and hospitable hosts. Antonio even drove me to the train station when my taxi service didn't show...

Borgo La Pietraia was a delightful surprise. I knew it looked good from the reviews, but our stay surpassed all expectations. The warm greeting and hospitality, the unforgettable views and the very comfortable rooms were excellent, and the restaurant was the jewel in the crown. Run, don't walk, for a meal there. Ours was six courses and each better than...

We stayed at the Borgo for five nights as part of a food and wine tour. The grounds are lovely and the views are spectacular. The small restaurant serves a lovely breakfast each day with your favorite hot beverage made to order. This family owned property is a lovely respite from the tourist areas and creates a great opportunity to...

What a find. This small hotel is a delight. Friendly, superbly clean and miles away from the huge faceless hotels of Any resort I've ever been to. The rooms are large, ours had a terrace and the view was wonderful. I'm already planning to return.

This small Agriturismo could be worth a stay for the view alone. Set a hillside in lovely grounds overlooking the Almalfi peninsula and Capri with dramatic sunsets as well - wow. We stayed in the suite which was clean and very spacious with a great terrace. Close too Paestum (definitely worth a visit) and Le Trabe restaurant, but not much...

The Borgo is a great family run small hotel that was an absolute gem. It's a new and modern construction that feels rustic and contemporary at the same time, and has an unbeatable view of the Tyrhennian Sea, complete with picture perfect sunsets over Capri and the Amalfi Coast. They also have a fantastic little restaurant on site that created...

I've been fortunate to travel the world, but the one place that was on my bucket list was to see the Amalfi Coast. I was fortunate enough to find this small intimate group of only 10 of us to travel the coastal area and still stay at this amazing place daily. Not only are the accommodations first class, but the people...

My partner and I stayed here for two nights in September as we were attending a wedding nearby. We were met by a very friendly welcome, shown to our rooms and offered dinner for the evening, which we accepted. The room was perfect - just what we needed, clean, spacious and with a small terrace. As there are very few...

Wonderful country house style hotel ( only 12 rooms) superbly run by Arianna and Antonio . Magnificent Junior Suites in true Italian country style together with beautiful gardens, lovely swimming pool area, and terraces that offer views across to the Bay of Salerno and in the distance Capri. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
On the hill that rises from Paestum on its way to Capaccio we find Borgo la Pietraia at the most scenic and picturesque point. The Scariati family, which has always been linked to the origins of this place and to its land, decided to build a residence and a planning project of excellence that, in fact, ended up becoming like a small village. The inherent desire of this project was to create a place to enjoy and share the beauty of this beautiful hill that opens with a breathtaking view of the Valley of the Temples of Paestum and the blue horizon of the Tyrrhenian Sea. ... more   less
