This was my second visit to Ischia and I had concerns re the pandemic. I need not have worried as the hygiene and safety were excellent and in line with local guidelines. I visited in September and very few people were staying which was a real shame as this is a superb hotel with excellent staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was good, the drinks fine and the arancini served at night when you bought alcoholic drinks divine. Only one small gripe. I was offered orange juice at breakfast and it was mediocre - I was then charged for this at the end of my stay but this had not been explained at the time. Otherwise a great stay. The hotel was just halfway between Casamicciola and Ischia town, only 15 minutes walk. There are beautiful hikes around the island, all easily accessible from the hotel. Would definitely return if staying in Ischia.

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon. The hotel is ideally situated a short drive (or medium walk) from the town and ferry dock. It has fantastic views, and the staff are very friendly.

We opted for a superior double room with balcony and sea view. We were not disappointed in any way. The beds were comfortable, and the room, although a little dated, was well appointed and clean.

The only meal we at the restaurant was breakfast, however it was well done.

The swimming area was another highlight. There is no beach, but the dock extending out into the Med was an amazing place to relax with book. There is also the friendliest older gentleman who runs a small canteen from the lifeguard station that sells beer, water, ice cream etc. The only word of caution; the water is only accessible by a stone staircase that seems never-ending. My wife and I consider ourselves to be fit, and your legs are burning by the top. Make sure you bring everything you need for the day before you go down! I made the mistake of forgetting the sunscreen. Those with mobility issues will have a difficult time.

In terms of location, as I mentioned it is a short drive or a medium walk to down. We stayed here a few days, so would spend the day at the hotel enjoying the water or the spa, then walk into town for dinner. The walk from the hotel is downhill and takes about 30mins at a leisurely pace. The walked back, obviously uphill, takes a bit longer, especially after some vino.

Finally, we did spend a day in the thermal waters of the spa, which is a great feature of the property. Very relaxing, especially after a marathon stair session from the beach.

Overall, we had a fantastic time staying here, and on the island itself. Thanks for the great memories!

Since the time of the grand European tours in the 19th century, Italy has perfected the art of the relaxing and luxurious family hotel. Le Querce exceeds all standards for cleanliness, service, amenities, and food, but most of all the professionalism of the staff. They pay attention to everything and your needs are met without asking. The views are spectacular from every sight line and the pools are sublime. We loved the swimming platform on the sea, yes it’s 250 steps but the good news is they are not cobblestone and there are handrails. Also, it’s secluded for an afternoon away from the hustle and bustle of the hotel. The breakfast and dinner maitre’d were kind and obliging and the bartending staff made excellent cocktails. Nothing from a bottled mix, fresh lemon juice, and egg white in the Pisco sours!
The rooms were spotlessly clean and the daily service and fresh towels were appreciated. The flowers and gardens were well cared for, and in general, the hotel is quiet and peaceful. This is one of the nicest resorts I have ever visited and I hope to return. Also, I recommend the prix fixe half board, there is no reason to go anywhere else and the food is delicious. We also spent a beautiful morning at the Giardino Mortella, a recommended side trip

Where to start! What a lovely hotel, wonderful facilities and friendly staff. The location is about a 20 minute walk on a hill leading up from the port, and has a bus stop outside. Tickets can be bought at reception who were really helpful with routes and also organised a taxi when required.
The outdoor pool is lovely and warm, and it was usually easy to find a sun lounger and parasol. The indoor thermal pool is blissful like a warm bath, and the are has a jacuzzi and sauna - they do ask you to wear a swim cap which I did although other guests appeared not to.
We were able to eat in the restaurant if we booked, although we were bed and breakfast. The views are stunning and the staff so helpful. The hotel uses your room number to keep a tab of drinks and food which made everything easy.
We had two rooms next to each other for us and our teenage boys. Both were very pretty and large and the balconies (sea view) were huge and with a lovely view across the water.
If you have access needs bear in mind there are several levels (there is a lift on one side of the building) and check in advance for a room with fewer steps to get to - the hotel is quirky and has several staircases and levels.
The beach platform is stunning but it is a lot of steps to get to - 271 I counted although you can stop to take a breath. My son loved it and spent hours enjoying the peace and sun there.
Breakfast has a lot of choice (and I was able to get alternative milk for tea). It’s a great place and I’m glad we experienced it.

I was over the moon when I found out that my wonderful partner had arranged a surprise stay at extremely exotic and beautiful island of ishcia off the coast of Napoli, Italy .. we are staying at this hotel
Which seems to have a reactively good reviews... but it is attention to details
Which and Individual needs which make
Hotels or any other service institutions to
Stand out. I have to say we arrived with very
Little expectations but were slightly surprised to find out that the hotels AC facilities are struggling with what appears to be a heatwave nevertheless AC is suppose is suppose to provide a comfortable stay. However, at arrival, our first day we were confronted with A climate and heat of 35-36 degree C and over 50% humidity flying in from London with thd morning temp of 10-12 degree C. we had difficulty to breath and needed to have the reassurance of Ac. It wasn’t unfortunately working properly in the first room and nor was the fridge.
They moved us from that room once we had unpacked to another upgraded room and reassured us that everything would work.
Bear in mind my partner is diabetic and they were told she needs a reliable fridge to keep her medication, insulin, safe.
To our outmost disappointment this fridge didn’t work either and we were told a series of promises that we will “ bring another fridge from another room” and we ordered new fridges and they will arrive today , tomorrow or the day after tomorrow .. took our insulin pen and kept it in the bar fridge .. I mean is this a safe solution if your life is depending on an item ?

Staff specially the young guys are not very helpful
Just a half of an hour ago 18.50, walked to the pool bar which is suppose to close at 19.00 and asked if one can order a simple drink or water. The Young italian man with visible tattoo on his arm (didn’t catch his name) very causing goes “ closed go upstairs bar”. No apology nor any explanation as to why the bar is closed 10 min before time when at least 3 other couples are still at the pool
And
There are 5 staff around the pool
Bar. I mean come on
Now end of day 2 still no
Fridge .. the air condition is only fulfilling the function of an old sealing fan.

Location and view and beach (150 m below the hotel ) is exceptional . But we would consider this hotel a sort of solid 3 star rather then the 4 star they claim to be ..

Finally, the whole
Hotel displays aesthetically a more of
Traditional look and features including the design and furnitures are 1970’s or even older.

Wow, what a location. Set on a cliff with a panoramic view back to the mainland, with Vesuvius in the background. At the risk of repeating what's been said by others, the Hotel has numerous spacious public areas to chill out and enjoy the views. Breakfast is plentiful, with lunch and dinner offering lovely dishes all reasonably priced (The view is truly stunning from the restaurant).
I'm told there are nearly 300 steps down to the bathing pontoon, but we didn't venture down and instead enjoyed the pool although I'm still getting my head round how warm the thermal pool was(you certainly don't tiptoe into it).
On arrival we were slightly disappointed with our lower level room, which didn't offer the view we'd requested, but shortly afterwards we were moved to a higher level room in the newer part of the Hotel.
The staff were great, friendly , helpful and obliging. Special thanks to Vasily, Francesco, Diane, GG, Salvatore and Arcangelo.
Ischia Porto is lovely, quant and offers a good vibe. We stayed for 10 days and spoke to many people who were dividing their time between the Hotel and a 2nd stop on the Amalfi Coat. Will we return, yes.

Lovely hotel, we stayed here for 3 nights before heading to mainland Italy for the remainder of our holiday.
All the staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you.
We had bed and breakfast board and the food was of a very good standard with lots of choice including gluten free. Other guests said the evening meals were very good too and that we’d missed out by not paying for one. We ate a few times by the pool and these meals were all very tasty with fresh produce.
Ischia is a very hilly island and this hotel showed it with plenty of steps between levels. There is a private deck on a rocky beach some 230 steps down, going back up was the hard bit.
The pool was warm owing to the thermal spas.
The local port is a 20 minute walk with shops, bars and restaurants a plenty.
If you have never stayed in Italy before, they charge a tourist tax per day, which we were unaware of, so was a little shock when checking out.

Amazing place !! The staff are the best special mention to “Jo” at reception and “Selma” at the restaraunt / bar who again went above and beyond and was always so happy and smiley. We went as a couple check in was quick and our room had been upgraded for free which was spacious clean and air conditioned.

The pool area was quiet and relaxing but extremely warm (thermal fed) the potion beach area is fabulous but be warned it’s very very steep to come back to the hotel but worth it. There were always sun loungers available which were comfy.

It’s location is amazing a short 15 minute walk and you’re in Ischia port with an abundance of bars and restaurants the hotel provides a shuttle bus which we didn’t use as we preferred to walk although again a steep climb coming home.

We used the gym daily which was full of good equipment.

Breakfast was great with an array of fresh fruit bacon eggs and fresh juices

We rented a car for two days to explore the island and there are two garage areas to park albeit tight to park

The food at the restaurant was quite pricey (lunch) but tasty and served quickly

Amazing experience thank you to all the staff for a fantastic break !! Struggle to find anything at all wrong !!

we were on a tui two centre holiday and arrived o the island by ferry from Sorrento. The approach to the island is absolutely stunning as the ferry makes its way into the harbour. Waiting was our taxi driver and five minutes later we were at the hotel reception.
We had booked a room with a side sea view and received a room with a fantastic view of the bay of Naples. Without doubt the views from all areas of this hotel are mesmerising, you will not be disappointed. Our booking was for bed and breakfast, which was fantastic, with fruits, cereals, hot offerings toasts really too much to go through here, suffice to say it was great. The staff are really fantastic really willing to help you and all very friendly, they were great and a tribute to the hotels management and training, well done.
The hotel itself is split into different levels and is very well maintained to a high standard. there were plenty of sunbeams at the pool and a towel service at reception. The bedroom was very clean and spacious with bathroom amenities included. I must admit I was extremely pleased with the few days we stayed there and would have no hesitation in giving it its deserved 4 stars staff were 5stars all round. don't go expecting a riotous time its very quite which was just as I wanted. Also TUI deserves a mention here everything that they arranged went like clockwork and I loved it.
Ischia proved to be a great visit he people are so friendly. if your going give serious consideration the le Querce Hotel we had a great time

We had a wonderful 5 day stay at this lovely traditional Italian hotel. Its position facing the island of Procida and the coast of Naples was stunning and we experience beautiful sunsets every evening. We upgraded to a front sea view room after seeing the view and it was really worth it as we were able to sit on the balcony and enjoy the amazing view at any time of day. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and accommodated my husband’s gluten intolerance without any problem. We would normally eat out on holiday but we decided to have dinner in the hotel each evening, on the lovely terrace, and the food was varied and delicious. Although it was a bit of a descent to and ascent from the hotel’s private pontoon, it is worth doing for the lovely cool water and breeze. The hotel’s main swimming pool and the spa facilities are thermally fed, and beautifully warm. There is a bus stop outside the hotel for easy movement round the island. We had a lovely stay and would recommend this hotel.

Hi, you can walk, there are paths and it takes about 20/25 minutes downhill there and uphill obviously back. There is a route partially avoiding the main road but I found that more annoying as lots of steps. The hotel has a shuttle about 7 times a day. I’d recommend staying there, it was lovely
