What a place to stay. The castle is the major attraction on the island and you get to stay in a bit of it. Hugely impressive views, very comfortable rooms with all you could ask for, remarkably efficient and friendly staff and THE best food. They make all their own cakes and serve a variety for breakfast, which are just...

Our medieval monastery room with large balcony and modern bathroom was clean, comfortable, air-conditioned, and had a spectacular view of the entire port and mountainside. The lovely patio restaurant had the same view, great food, and service. The grounds have gardens, a vineyard, and views to Capri. There is rarely a wait to enter the 6 story elevator up to the...

We spent three wonderful nights and days at the castello. Our hosts Giulio and Joseph were incredibly helpful in all respects, procuring a car, restaurant recommendations and highlights of the island. The Albergo's restaurant was a terrific respite after a day of touring and the indoor outdoor cafe was very welcoming. This establishment caters to a wide international clientele and...

My husband and I spent four fabuluos nights at the Castello, where we ate three nights in a row (yes I normally try new places, but if the food and service is perfect, why go elsewhere?). The view from our room was fantastic. The garden where we were the only ones lounging in the sun, are also where veggies served...

Literally the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. I came here with my mom for a long weekend and we are already looking forward to coming back. All of the other glowing reviews pretty much sum it up so I won't reiterate, save to stress how kind and welcoming the staff were (they made us feel truly at home...

Such a perfect get away in an amazing historically important building. The staff could not have been more friendly and willing to assist. We arrived early expecting to have to go away and wait several hours before our room was available but were lucky to be able to access the our rooms straight away. The rooms whilst modestly furnished are...

The most unusual entrance to a hotel; past a ticket kiosk, through a tunnel and up a lift with lots of tempting buttons saying 'Dont press!'... We were greeted by the lovely Josef and were made to feel thoroughly at home. We were lucky enough to get a roof terrace room with stunning views over the town of Ischia, and...

I first came to this wonderful place in 2007. Since then I have become less selfish and more open to sharing things that are exceptional to me. As I write this review I'm conscious that I really don't want to share this wonderful place with the outside world, but selfish no more. If you want a chain hotel, this is...

Amazing location with breathtaking views .... set in the Castello Aragonese. Rooms in former monastery are very clean and restful...those monks know how to pick the best locations. Loved all the original artwork by the former owner whose family still runs the hotel. You can spend hours exploring the gardens and terraces of the Castello. Beds are firm and the...
