Our first visit to Ischia but we will definitely be back, the hotel was outstanding and exceeded our expectations in every way, the sister hotel being just yards away with complementary facilities made it difficult to choose which hotel we should spend more time in. Unfortunately, on the evening before we were due to leave, my partner slipped and fractured her ankle, at which point the hotel could not have done any more to help, they accompanied us to the hospital and stayed with us until we were diagnosed, arranged for the restaurant to stay open until we got back, took us back the following day for plaster, etc, they went the extra mile and we cannot recommend them highly enough. Our thanks to Ciro and Anna and their entire team from both hotels and we will see you again.
Had a lovely time at this hotel and all staff were polite, helpful and eager to make our visit special. There is a lovely outdoor pool with plenty of beds available. There is also a thermal pool. Our room was excellent and a great balcony overlooking the pool. A lovely gesture of a complimentary bottle of Cava was in our room. The tv channels were not working at first and wi -fi was weak, but no sooner mentioned and they were immediately looked at and rectified. A fuse blew in a light on the second morning but again the wonderful Fillipo sorted it. I kidded on that I was a jinx. Our room was kept immaculate by Nancy, who was American born and was a font of useful information. Nothing was too much for her and she twice arranged ice buckets for further bottles of prosecco that we had bought. The front of house staff quickly remembered us and were able to bring us our key without asking the room number. We had breakfast every day and it was excellent. A good choice of continental options, smoked salmon, ,scrambled egg and the best bacon I have had whilst abroad. The waiting staff were attentive to all our needs and the big bonus was the option of prosecco to wash it all down. The option to use the facilities in the close sister hotel nearby was great, as they had roof jacuzzis with great views of the castle. You could also use their sun beds and little beach. which was very useful. We had a fabulous 10 days in this lovely hotel and would definitely stay again if we revist Ischia.…
The hotel is well located, the staff are super attentive, the room was clean (although poorly furnished) but , a big but, overall it is far away from a 5 star hotel standard. The public areas , especially the thermal pool, definitely need to be cleaned and renovated, THE POOL ESPECIALLY TO BE CLEANED.
After a two week plus tour in Italy which ended in Naples, I spent 3 night on my own at this lovely boutique hotel in Ischia. My room was small, yet fine for one, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very well equipped. The air conditioning worked well, and the window opened big and wide to be able to look out. The hotel was quiet, a bit outdated in some respects, but not horribly. The outdoor areas were really great, and during my visit, barely used. I never saw another soul on the rooftop deck; the outdoor pool was very lovely, other terraced areas were cozy with nice landscaping....the outdoor area at the sister hotel, the one right on the sea, was a bit more busy, but still no issue getting a lounge chair. Lovely view from both hotels. Literally a couple of minutes walk from each other. I especially enjoyed the location, as there were two different 'village' areas on both sides of the hotel just a short walk away....it was nice to be in between both and have various options of places to walk, explore or to find a restaurant. The location felt safe. The breakfast was delightful, with thankfully even bacon and scrambled eggs which I had yet to see at another hotel in my time in Italy. …
This hotel can not get enough credit! We stayed for 10 days during our honeymoon in early september 2018. And from start to finish they offered everything. They arranged a transport service from the airport all the way to the front doors and the other way around when we left and I absolutely recommend to do that. And the fantastic staff took great care of us during the whole stay. We rented scooters, ordered sightseeing trips and booked tables at restaurants through the lobby and that made it so easy to relax and enjoy. And when one of the trips got cancelled by the company, the hotel took responsibility beyond what was expected and we got compensated with free tickets to another trip. Fantastic location, staff and stay.
