This hotel has so much potential but has been left needing lots of repairs and upgrades. The most disappointing part was the rudeness of the staff. They didn’t look up or greet us upon check in or any time we went to the desk. They acted very annoyed with any questions. They didn’t give us information about the water taxis, didn’t tell us that breakfast is included in our room, until the last day. Upon arrival they had us lug our bags down a long flight of stairs rather than telling us about an elevator. The pro is that the views from our room patio and the patios of the hotel were amazing. Their English website is very good however many things they say on it are not available. For example transfers into the town were not available other than by taxi. Ponte and Porto are fun towns to wander around in.

The hotel is just perfect for holidays! It has two swimming pools outside - with salty cold water and with warm water. Another one is inside in spa area, where we also had the best relaxing big massage. It was perfectly located, because we had the access to the beach just from the hotel, the water was crystal clear and there were no crowd that you can find at public beaches. The restaurant on different levels, everything white, beautiful and the view to a Castle and sea - is an amazing bonus to a delicious food ! Everything was always fresh and tasty, especially loved pasta with the seafood. It’s close to the post - 5 minutes by taxi or you can take bus (12,13). The staff always was friendly and helpful, we felt like a part of a big family. The special wow is for the room, it was quite big, the bed very comfortable, there was also sofa, bathroom with big bathtub (can be used as jacuzzi as well), and the balcony was facing the sea , castle and a sunrise - so beautiful! The room and the whole property was always clean, I can say they really take care of it ☺️ Will definitely come back!

Hotel was really in nice lovation with view to castle. There are really old furniture but still works. Room was amazing - Junior Suite. View to sea, pool and to castle too. Bathroom was really nice with jaccuzi and window. Bed was comfortable. Just missing caffee maxhine and water to drink in minibar. Nice terrace with chairs and table. Hotel has 2 outside pool with nice temperature about 35C. Nice terrace to sunbath and private access to sea. Really amazing location not far from Ischia Porto with bus 12 or 13 (little bit longer way). Also hotel has one indoor “pool” with really cold water but there is so much chlor. But was really nice and quite place. Restaurant was also nice. Waiters are really kind. Breakfast is avarage for 4* hotel but I guess it is standard in this part of Italy. But when I compare 4* hotel in Sardinia it is really different. Here were just croissants and jams and fruits, ham and cheese. Caffee and tea. Thats all. Dinner was really nice. We paid for half board and dinner has usually 4 courses - apetiter, antipasti, main course and desert. Usually with 3 options for antipasti and main course. Meal was really tasty. Just one thing what was strange and not so kind was when we were leaving they wanted to pay for dinner, but we already paid for half board. It was mistake by hotel. But everything was solved. Thank you for nice stay!

We chose to go to Ischia as a last minute extension to our Italy trip - so glad that we did! We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and were greeted by such friendly staff. The hotel is in a secluded area boasting amazing sea views of Ischia and the Castle. As well as having a salt water pool outside the hotel, they also have an adorable deck which leads down to the beach where you can swim in the sea and catch some sun between the rocky cliffs. Our room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the sea. It's a very traditional style Italian hotel which helped set the mood for the holiday. Artisic tiled floors, vases and mosaic decorate the hotel. They also had a spa where I had such a relaxing massage. Would recommend for a true italian getaway holiday!

Booked this hotel through Fleetway travel to include transfers and Half Board. No transfer waiting on arrival and no transfer on departure. Checked in to be informed that the restaurant was closing that evening! No hot water throughout our stay, no bar , poor quality food at breakfast, hotel grounds littered with rubbish, and a swimming pool covered in algae. In summary there is nothing to recommend this hotel apart from the view.

We came to Ischia with my boyfriend in November for his birthday. The guy on reception gave us amazing room with a view on castle as it wasn't busy. I would like to highlight that staff members were extremely helpful and worked hard to provide the service. The spa is small, but cosy and the water is really warm. Highly recommended!

We spent two nights at the hotel using a Smartbox gift. They gave us a room with Ikea entry-level furniture that could hardly be rated for 2 stars and no view at all (not even a window). Poor breakfast service with dirty tablecloths.

We stayed for a week in a deluxe room. For the price we paid, the location and views were unbeatable (though as other reviewers mention, it may be a challenging location for less mobile guests as it's on a steep road, we didn't take public transport so can't comment on the convenience of that but it's about a 15 min walk to the restaurants and shops next to the castle, and about a half hour walk to the port area). The breakfast was nice, fresh fruits, good coffee machine and selection of cakes, breads, yoghurts. The cleaning service was good every day and the cleaners were friendly but the reception staff seemed mostly disinterested with no attempt at a smile or hello when entering the hotel. When we first checked in, they showed us into the wrong room which already had someone's luggage in it, so we were asked to wait ten minutes in reception before being checked in to the room next door. On checking out, I asked the evening before if there was anything we'd need to do as we were going to be leaving very early in the morning. I was brushed aside as the person on reception was busy on the phone, saying check out wasn't until 8am despite me saying that was too late. So we intended to just put the key on the desk, but in the morning were told by the night staff that we had to pay a city tax. This was 10 minutes of faff we could have settled the evening before and meant we had to rush in the morning. The room itself was fine with a jet tub, though somewhat aged. As other reviewers have said, the whole place needs a bit of doing up. We could mostly live with this but when we asked how to work the air conditioning were told it didn't work once it hit October. It was too hot to sleep with no air con and no fan in the room so we had a lot of mosquito bites!! Not pleasant. Suspect this wasn't helped by little pools of standing water around the pool area (fountains that don't work etc). The pool area in general needs some work. They had started to dismantle the decking on the sea platform and also the shades in the pool area while we were there so perhaps these will be improved by the start of next season but not very nice for us that we couldn't use them and a bit unsightly to have people doing work around you and exposed metal frames everywhere while relaxing in the sun. Also sound proofing in rooms is an issue - for some reason the adjoining room next to ours had a piano in it so we were subjected to kids banging on that!

It’s very difficult to review this hotel as the location is absolutely beautiful and when relaxing by the sea on the decking it’s absolutely perfect, however... the bedrooms in the hotel and the food is pretty poor. My bedroom had no shower, draws broken, mirrors smashed and wires all over the place, which for over £100 per night is quite a concern! I read another persons trip advisor review which said it’s like “Faulty Towers” they weren’t wrong. The hotel COULD be absolutely beautiful if it had a bit of money spent on it.
