This is the best holiday destination you could ask for. A fantastic hotel with fantastic people . Amerigo is the Napolean of hosts . Nothing is a problem everything is attended to at the highest level. Amazing. Walsh Family from Dublin
Superb location in very queiet area! Propably one of few residences in Forio with direct access to the see and private platform. Restaurants, shops and city center are lokated in walking dystans. Apartemetns are rather simple, but very clean and well equipped with everything you need! You’ll find there bar and restaurant serving basic dishes and drinks. They also provide bicycles, kajaks, and water bikes for your convinience. The host Amerigo is extremally helpful and is very nice and familial person, you can also fully rely on his recommendations! He can organise pick-up from the ferry and transportarion to Negombo or where else you want within Forio on request! Ran by his family Restaurant La Casereccia is also worth trying - in my opinion, it"s the best restaurant in Forio!
The Rotonda was an amazing accommodation and Amerigo was an amazing host! Throughout our stay nothing was a problem and our every need was accommodated for without any hassle. We stayed at the Rotonda for our honeymoon and 11 days of relaxation, which it proved to be perfect for. It is located at a great part of the island as it is outside the main towns and a bit quieter but is also close enough to the main attractions, restaurants and Forio to be convenient for everything we needed. The front decking was definitely the highlight of the Rotonda as it has amazing views of the coast and Forio as well as access straight down to the sea for swimming without the hassle of sand. Relaxing on the deck during the day was perfect and the sun setting on the sea in the evenings were amazing. It is a nice part of the coast for swimming as the sea breaks provide protection from the waves, currents and boat traffic. There was a large range of equipment as well for using in the sea, including lilos, pedalos, sun loungers, etc. As well as all this, we found it was very reasonably priced for food, drink and accommodation compared to the rest of the island. When we arrived, Amerigo picked us up from the ferry at Forio and then spent some time with us to talk about the island and advise where the best places to visit were which was very much appreciated. He showed us where the local supermarket was and introduced us to the boat rental company in Forio. He also offered lifts to his family restaurant and various other nearby attractions on the island which was extremely convenient because it saved the hassle of ordering a taxi or trying to get a bus or walk in the heat of the day. The whole staff at the Rotonda were very friendly and treated us well throughout our stay. It is nice to see a well-run family business. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!…
This is a truly family run business where great emphasis is applied to the quality of the customer experience. The setting is very relaxing overlooking the sea, the facilities on site are great and we strongly recommend the family restaurant Casareccia where Mama Tina cooks for the guests. Amerigo even offered us lifts a few times back and forth from the beach facility to the restaurant. We felt very special and would love to go back again for another holiday true Italian style.
Best place, best staff. It is a family owned Resort with direct access to the sea without crossing the street, perfect for families. The owner is very nice (thanks Amerigo for every thing) actually every body there was very helpful (special thanks to his mother in law, very nice smiling person she helped me with some Italian words). The rooms are big with a small kitchen again perfect for families.
