A great retreat with fantastic views and surroundings. This is a family run place that looks after your every need. We ate there three times including a bbq and it was so tasty and fresh from produce either picked from their own gardens or locally sourced. Paulo and Lady also give you the best advice on where to visit and...

Casa Lora has a lot of history and the house is set in lush gardens, on top of a hill, where views are breathtaking. There is plenty of room to enjoy some quiet time, practice yoga, as well as to socialize with other guests. Most produce is freshly picked from the garden and the food is mouth-watering. Ischia is a...

I have to admitt that when we first arrive to Forio we didn't expect to do a long way to our hotel, but fortunately all our efforts were paid back when we arrived at Casalora. Everything was so homey and genuine. Clean room, excellent service, great fresh organic food. It looked like paradise. We spent an excellent week in Ischia...

Best bed-and-breakfast I've ever been to. The homey atmosphere of the place contributes to the over-all appreciation of the island itself. Its a family-owned business where everyone contributes in some way. Home-cooked dinners made with fresh, of-the-moment ingredients are available for a small fee and are superb. The rooms are very clean, and the grounds are filled with filled lemon,...

I was in the south of Italy and I needed a place to spend a few days to unwind, work in peace and sunbathing, if possible. A friend of mine without hesitating, said to me: " don't worry I will book you in a place that will meet your needs..." To make the long story short, I was suppose to...

I've been back to Casa Lora a few times, Paolo and his family make you very welcome, like part of the family, great traditional cooking, the views are amazing. It's easy to get to once off the boat and then you can relax, enjoy the views, drink wine whilst watching the sun go down and the lights of the island...

Casa Lora is a special place to stay. My husband & I, along with our 2 small children do not care much for large establishments, hotels etc This place is heaven. Remote, big rooms & relaxed. It's like a big family house that you can just hang about. Perfect

stayed here for four days and wish it could have been longer. Very peaceful, a ten minute bus ride outside Forio (easily reached by cheap and frequent buses) in a beautiful quiet location above the town. The gardens and pool are simply stunning, with excellent and plentiful pool furniture and lots of shade and well maintained. Rooms are large and...
