The hotel is too simple to enjoy with all things you wish to have for your full happiness. At first there isn't any territory to go for a walk, but only the way to the dinner hall and back and the possibility to swim in two pools (open and close) with termal water of different temperatures (more hot water is in the close one). It seemed to me the food is the most weak part of the hotel. No, you can eat all food you have chosen, but it's not tasty. And what especially sad that you can get absolutely fine food if you are not very lazy and ready to stand in line otherwise it will pass you by. I meant only having a dinner because the breakfast and lunch are the same for everyone. About the sea I can tell that it's not very comfortable to reach the one only by small bus every time you want to do it. It is because the hotel is on the hill and it is too far from the beach to walk. The beach does not belong to the hotel, it is for everyone but it has a very nice soft sand and I liked it very much. The sea water was warm and clean and I've got a great pleasure to swim. So I can recommend this hotel for those tourists who isn't ready to spend a lot of money but can be contented with that conditions I have described.

With my family we spent 10 days on this amazing island.Ischia is really a lovely place to visit.unfortunately I can’t say the same about the hotel, where we had so many problems from day 1.the cleaning of the room wasn’t amazing,we found mosquitoes dead on the wall, the room was infested by mosquitos.we had then a massive lick of water from the a/c.we had the room change, again problems.unable to use the balcony as outside there was a hornets nest, and the mattress was so uncomfortable that I got neck stiffness. I have decided to have a massage, where Patrizia was very professional and friendly.i can’t say the same about the blond girl at the spa reception(Caterina I believe is the name),very unprofessional.she didn’t welcome me at all, founding her on the phone without caring of me waiting.when I had then the massage she didn’t respect my privacy coming in the room while I was having the massage asking in a really rude way to Patrizia what she was doing to me.about the restaurant we met Nicola,he looked after us in a such great way.the food wasn’t great every day, breakfast quite poor and we didn’t really like to choose what to eat every day from the menu.we were expecting a buffet where u can have more options.also in the room not even a kettle with a complimentary coffe or tea. Thanks God the island was very beautiful but the hotel a total nightmare.they definitely need to improve.

My partner and I stayed here for two nights and it was a very comfortable stay. The decor in the rooms is a bit outdated but very spacious and clean. We were quite young (in our mid-twenties) as lots of elderly guests but we liked how many Italians were there and it had a more authentic feel. The breakfast was reasonable but the biggest highlight was the staff. The staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. We were greeted very warmly every morning for breakfast and the lady on the front desk was fabulous- organising us electric bikes and our transfer back to the port when we left. There are delightful restaurants nearby- our favourite of our whole Italian holiday was ristorante pietratorcia. There is also a shuttle bus every 15 minutes down to the local beach and to the thermal spa- Poseidon.

Marina, St-Petersburg, We had a rest in this hotel last summer, August 2016. This is a very nice hotel! We liked everything! The territory is rather big, beatiful and well-groomed! Rooms are clean, nice, all necessary things were in the rooms. It was cleaned every day and very carefully. The food was various and delicious. There were some interesting entertainments several evenings - music, songs, disco. But the most important thing - people who are working in this hotel - everyone ( on the reception, in the restaurant, cleaning staff) is very polite, very helpful, very attentive to each host. And thanks to the hotel staff the atmosphere in the hotel is very friendly, very warm like at home :) It's a big wish to come back to Ischia and definitely to this hotel!

The good: The hotel is rather dated but set in lovely gardens so that offsets its appearance. The pool area is large and attractive with plenty of sun beds and ancient wooden deck chairs. The pools are thermally heated which means the outdoor pool is about the temperature of a bath (in August probably too hot to swim much). There is a nice bar with friendly staff. The restaurant food is excellent quality albeit presented a bit like school dinners. The breakfast is buffet but lunch and evening meals are brought to tables by helpful waiters. Menus are in Italian and German but the head waiter was kind enough to translate. The bad: The reception desk was probably the least helpful and chaotic I have ever encountered, Everything was too much effort. There was a large festival on locally which we only found out about the day after - there was no attempt to publicise it! The beach and local restaurants are 20 mins down a steep hill. The hotel runs a courtesy minibus - but its hours are rather limited. The nearest beaches were very crowded and we preferred to take one of the regular public buses to one of the main beaches in Forio.
