We stayed for 9 nights for a sporting event nearby. Our room was overall well presented and a good size for Italy. The bed was comfortable and it was great to have tea and coffee facilities. The breakfast included was generally good but they were rather slow keeping the cooked breakfast topped up. The negatives however was that we had a room on the motorway side by the toll booth (not a particularly nice outlook)and it was incredibly noisy all night with traffic that I didn't sleep well at all without earplugs. Our shower over the bath leaked water over the floor every time and the water pressure was terrible. Housekeeping was a bit average with restocking essentials. The location of the hotel is in a fairly average industrial area with not many good eateries close by, although the pizza place across the road was great and there are also 2 supermarkets nearby. However about 1km away is the Cava di Terrini village which was surprisingly beautiful. It wouldn't be my choice to stay there again but it does seem to get a steady tourist bus and sporting team trade and the staff were friendly and spoke good English.

We stayed here for a couple of days whilst looking in land before the Amalfi coast and Sorrento. Hotel was very good, clean with lots of free parking and the local town of Cava De Tirreni is well worth a look with some good restaurants and bars.

We were very happy with our four night stay. The room was very comfortable and clean and the staff was welcoming and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the buffet breakfast, well-prepared with a lot of variety (we were given a very reasonable discount rate). The location is right off the highway, so it was easy to drive to Pompei, the Amalfi Coast, and Caserta. Our room was very quiet. There are also two supermarkets a short walk away.

Small ING hotel located in the middle of tourist locations - easy access to Vesuvius, Pompei, Amalfi coast and Solerno. Has free parking. Rooms are clean and spacious, service is good, friendly and fast. Food in restarant is tasty. Breakfast is not included into price, but you can arrange it during check in. There are many places to eat outside, supermarket is close by, center of Cava de Tirreni town is not far away. Good place to stay exploring the area nearby.

One value that you are assured of with the Holiday Inn, is a good comfortable hotel with acceptable standards, which is good when you are overseas and and unfamiliar with the area. The reception area is bright, modern and welcoming, with a friendly receptionist whose English was very good. On arrival we found that there was ample parking once we found the hotel, with a little difficulty. Our room was very comfortable, with two single, very comfortable beds. The on-suite had a bath with a shower attachment and was very clean, as you would expect at a Holiday Inn. The room provided a good nights sleep, but had an awful view of the building next door. Breakfast was in a modern well decorated tasteful room with a good range of hot and continental food. The ladies will especially like the superb range of cakes on offer. We booked this hotel to be away from Naples city centre, but also to have easy access to Vesuvius and Pompeii. Salerno is in an industrial part and not one for sightseeing. One slight disappointment, was the receptionist breaking off to answer incoming telephone calls. Overall, I would suggest that this hotel is expensive compared to our next Holiday Inn at Vulcano Buono.
