We have just returned from an amazing week in Italy where we stayed at Villa Maria. The gorgeous farmhouse, which sits high above the small village of Minori on the Costa Amalfi, came highly recommended by family who had stayed there the previous year. It's nestled amongst lemon groves and the views are breath taking. We initially booked bed and... More

We stayed on the Amalfi Coast for ten days in June 2016 - all of them at Agriturismo Villa Maria. I emailed Nadia with several questions and she was wonderful to work with as we planned our trip. Nadia coordinated transfers to and from the airport in Naples, and we arrived in the early afternoon to Minori, a charming little... More

It took a little finding up the valley behind the village but once there there was parking and an immediate feeling of peace and quiet. Plus 131 more or less obligatory steps to get up to the hotel, although the owners will bring the luggage up. Once in place the view back down is simply lovely and a lemonade on... More

We stayed at Villa Maria for 3 nights. We enjoyed the accommodation and the nightly chats with Vincenzo, the views and the charm of the place. The food was a bit hit and miss and the dining room could do with a bit of a refresher. All in all though a good stay.

We discovered Villa Maria on the last day of our holiday ( thanks Tripadvisor) and can only say we're glad we didn't miss it. Vincenzo quickly makes you feel at home and is rightfully very proud of his beautiful produce. The food was amazing, the wine plentiful and Vincenzo is a generous host. It's not the easiest place to find... More

We stayed at the Villa Maria back in 2007, when Trip Advisor didn't even have a listing for it. My mother wanted my husband and I to arrange a trip for all of us this year, and I told her we absolutely had to go back. In a very busy trip, this little vertical farm was my sanctuary. You can... Having found Villa Maria whilst researching our visit to the Amalfi and reading so many wonderful reviews, we couldn't wait to try it for lunch As we were staying in Minori, we were able to follow the great directions for taking the local council bus provided by another Trip Advisor reviewer. The stair climb from the road the restaurant definitely... More

My husband and I visited this amazing restaurant for dinner this month. I'd been disappointed by the local tourist Italian fayre and had great expectations of this and was not disappointed. We arrived a little late as we underestimated the hike to get to the most amazing setting and view. Just a note, we took the long route without steps.... More

It is a wonderful place, with amazingly tasty food, super nice people, spectacular panorama. The home-made food was one of the best what we ever eat, the house wine is fresh, light and has a smell like flowers. The lemon is different, more sweet than what you can buy at home in the supermarket. The full atmosphere is unreal. We... More

Villa Maria is a MUST for anyone in the area of Minori! It is a lovely agriturismo with an excellent restaurant and a breathtaking view. Vincenzo and Pasquale were the perfect hosts. They told us all about the farm - what they grow and what's in season as well as some history about their family and the farm. Maria's cooking... More
