I stayed here on Sunday the 16th of July as a stop over on route to Wexford. We booked a family room for myself, my husband and 3 kids. The room was lovely and spacious. I was very pleasantly surprised to how comfortable and airy the room was. Breakfast the following morning was really nice, a great selection as good... More

Already had a long evening with flights being delayed from Ryanair getting into Dublin very late, luckily the Red Cow still had rooms left that night so after checking in at around 2am, we were woken up by construction workers before 8am. Utterly annoyed. I understand the hotel needs to be renovated but waking guests up with noise at that... More

We stayed at the Red Cow on a mini-honeymoon break to Dublin. Our first room was unsuitable due to young children in an adjoining room 'bouncing off the walls', we were then moved to another room which was too small, and the hotel then upgraded us to a suite, which was very good of them. The Luas Tram is a... More

My family and I stayed here on 16th July 2016 for one night. We had put our arrival time down as 16.00 but when we arrived the room was not ready and were told that it would be another 20 minutes before it was ready. After I complained about the delay we were given another room which was fine. There... More

We had a room on the 2nd floor and it was like being in the centre of a "Boom Box". It could have been a Bollywood function for all I knew, as we couldn't make out one word. We booked last minute and arrived late(fair enough), but having to get up at 5am for church(reason for our far distance trip)with... More

Hard to find, had to change rooms due to construction outside the window at 7:00 A.M., the dance hall is directly under 20 rooms so we were awake until 1:30 as if there was a band in our bedroom, restaurant seated us at a fold out utility table with a 50 cent table cloth and served us second rate food.

We recently spent one night in the Red Cow before we flew to Rome, the room was expensive but in a good location for what we needed. We were checked in efficiently on arrival and pleased to be offered an upgrade, on walking to our room we were dodging workmen putting down a tiled floor and although our room was... More

Someone else booked this stay for us and we did no research ourselves. We did not know therefore about the fact the hotel is adding 152 rooms but this obviously has an effect on guests currently staying. Building works started sometime after 07:00hrs on a Saturday morning. Our room, while well furnished and with a large tv, by virtue of... More

I booked this hotel for a 2 night family break close to Dublin, I really wish I hadn't. The hotel was a construction site with builders causing a noise disturbance from 07:20 in the morning. There was no mention of the construction work on the website or Facebook page. When I mentioned it to staff at the hotel they stated... More
