Galaxy Hotel is located in the south-western part of the town of Naxos (Chora), just a few steps from the Blue Flag sandy beach of Saint George (Agios Georgios). Ideally located in the center of the coast, it offers easy access to all of Naxos' attractions. Fully renovated in 2019 in accordance with the Cycladic architecture, it aims at providing its guests with all modern comforts for a pleasant stay. It offers excellent service, discrete modern luxury, authentic quality, perfectly combined with an idyllic setting.

This was our second visit to Naxos island and Hotel Galaxy. Such a beautiful hotel right close by to St George’s beach. Well appointed modern rooms with balcony, if a little on the small side. The complex is beautifully landscaped and the pool is to die for, towels are provided. Breakfast was really great with so much choice. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. It’s really a very relaxing place to stay! (Although this time our visit partially coincided with 2 groups of our ‘loquacious cousins from over the pond’ as mentioned by an earlier reviewer). It’s a 10-15 minute walk into the centre with lots of bars and restaurants, the old town is so pretty with winding alleys and small boutiques and restaurants. Well worth taking the local bus to visit some of the island’s pretty villages, there’s also a day whole island bus trip. I would highly recommend Hotel Galaxy. There was a small alleged problem with credit card, but it was their system. I was told a lot of British guests had experienced the same problem. It was resolved very amicably though. This did not spoil our holiday and we would go back there in a heartbeat!! Fabulous place😍…

Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Naxos. It’s located close to the city and everything is very walkable. It’s easy to access both the port and many restaurants all over town. They have a beautiful pool and the beach is a 2 min walk down the road. I would highly recommend that you rent chairs and an umbrella. It’s definitely worth it and isn’t very expensive. Staff was very friendly and always helpful.

It is a pleasure to leave a review of the Galaxy Hotel in Naxos. The location is awesome, in an open area right by a gorgeous stretch of beach. Our room (125) was spacious and comfortable. The shower was large. A small balcony with sea view. Wifi was decent. Breakfast was extensive and the staff works hard to keep tables cleared and food stocked. The pool area is nice, with a small bar. What especially shines about Galaxy is the superb front desk staff. Eleni is welcoming, friendly and funny, and very helpful. Panos in the evening is also super helpful. We had to stay an extra 3 days due to ferry cancellations (high winds), which was not a problem for the hotel. They made us feel at home. If you stay here, check out the Naxoki beach bar and restaurant, a really nice place nearby on the boardwalk with comfy beach cots and excellent food and drinks. Thank you, Galaxy Hotel!…

From the minute we arrived, the hotel concierges were friendly and helpful. They made great recommendations and helped us arrange laundry and transportation to the port. Everyone working there has a great attitude and it was the staff that made our stay so wonderful. The hotel is in the perfect location, just feet away from the beach and a short walk into town.

A lovely hotel, well situated close to nice beach and easily walkable to the port. A very pleasing design and nice modern rooms. Sad that our peaceful enjoyment was somewhat spoiled on a few days by a large group of noisy American tourists.

This is one of those rare places, where, the minute you step foot in them, life simply changes for the better. You get here and you just seem to leave all your worries and cares beind, and you begin to feel happy and relaxed. In fact, we love the Galaxy so much, we´ve started coming here twice a year and we´ve also begun to bring family and friends, all of whom love it and are coming back. Now, it´s not easy to describe the magic of the Galaxy Hotel. Yes, it´s location could not be more perfect: right next to St. George beach - one of the best beaches in the whole of Greece -, and in walking distance of cafes, bars, taverns, shops and Naxos Old Town. And, yes, the hotel with its snowy white Cycladic architecture, luxurious rooms, beautiful pool area and gorgeous gardens is a complete joy. The sumptious breakfast buffet offers literally everything you could ever want - from fresh fruit and salads, cereals, yoghurt with honey, bacon, eggs, sausages, to pies, bread, cakes and an array of the most delicious Greek specialties - all freshly prepared in the hotel´s own kitchens. All of this does, of course, make for a dream holiday destination. But I guess what makes the Galaxy so extra special are Lambros and Eleni in reception who, together with their entire team, run the hotel not only with the highest degree of professionalism and efficiency, but also with true personal warmth and charm, which not only makes all their guests feel utterly at home and made much of, but which also creates and atmosphere which brings people together. Sadly, we´ll be leaving in a couple of days time. Needless to say that we´ve already booked our rooms for 2023. What else is going to get us through those cold, dark winter months?…

What a wonderful hotel! The location is perfect- a very short walk to a nice beach, close to the bus stop/tour pick-up, and a easy stroll to so many restaurants! Our hosts and staff were so helpful and genuinely glad to have us stay at their hotel! The Hotel is designed in the beautiful Cycladic style of Greece and rooms are clean and spacious! Breakfast buffet was wonderful and the pool area is beautiful! We have already made return reservations for next year!

Lambros and Eleni were the perfect hosts for 17 of us that stayed at their beautiful hotel. Excellent location on a nice beach with clean rooms and good breakfast in the morning. The hosts went out of their way to help all of us in whatever way they could. By the time we left I felt as if we were leaving friends. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for couples or large groups.

It was our first time in Naxos and the Galaxy Hotel was recommended. It is so ideally situated to the beach and the centre of Town – such an easy walk with so much to see and look at along the way. The executive Manager, Lambros is a seasoned and experienced hotelier intent on trying to ensure that guests are comfortable at all times. Lambros is ably assisted by Eleni at reception. Other trip Advisor reviews have said it all so not much to add except a few tips. If you don’t like shampoo/shower gel in one bottle take your own soap and shampoo as well as tissues and body lotion. The pictures of the rooms on the website are a little misleading in terms of size (so do double check the actual square meterage you are booking) but the rooms are clean and comfortable if not perhaps a little on the small side – everyone has a different preference in this regard. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are cleaned every day with fresh towels and linen. We enjoyed our stay at Galaxy and Naxos.…

Fantastic location about a 5 minute walk from the heart of Naxos town so very quiet at night, staff were very accommodating and assisted with organizing transfers, early check in and late check out. Room was spacious and clean and had an amazing shower. Pool area was large and spacious and pool bar is open all day. A fantastic experience, we will definitely be back!
