This is a nice B & B as it is very clean and well tended. It is definitely a bit dated and the mattresses are a bit hard. The breakfast was very nice and welcoming. A spread of cheeses, bread, yogurt, tomatoes, homemade jams, meats and soft boiled eggs. It was fun to share breakfast with the other guests. The... More

Received with a smile by Sybille and her husband. Perfect accommodations for our family of 5 (2adults, 3 teenagers ). We had a top floor section to ourselves, rooms 7, 8, and 9. Complete with double balcony, tv's, comfortable beds, privacy, big clean shower room off hall with bench for dry clothes. Very clean. Delicious array of cheeses, meats, breads,... More

Great rooms (we had three rooms for our extended family of 8) some with bath in-room, some bathrooms across the hall but private. Comfortable beds. Fantastic hosts!!! Great breakfast. Plenty of free parking. Bacharach is a very charming little village and our favorite place to stay on the Rhine.

I would stay here again. Sybille provides a warm reception and welcoming environment for her patrons. The house is quaint and the rooms clean and efficient. Breakfast was very good with a nice cheese selection, yogurt, meats, hard boiled eggs and breads. The location is just outside the wall so we really enjoyed walking under it and by the vineyards... This place is a joy. Great old building. Wonderful owners who took great delight in making everyone feel welcome. Up the hill from town but an easy walk to the center. Free parking and a very tasty German breakfast included. Our room was very small and basic but spotlessly clean with a wonderful bed so we didn't care about the... More

On our way back we stayed another night and now had the room with the balcony(with private toilet/shower at the opposite side of the corridor). Now we also learned the owners a little better. The man owns a 36 year old volkswagen karaman gia (gold color). Really nice car and fully original. Please note that wifi/wLan is closed after 20:30pm... More

This pension is located just up from the city center, away from the train station, but within an short walk to the quaint town of Bacharach. The owners are delightful and their hospitality is family friendly. Breakfasts are plenty and set to enjoy other travelers' adventures and tips on which castle to see next.

They always had a smile and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The rooms are simple yet comfortable. Perfect place to compliment our beautiful stay in Bacharach.

The owners are very kind. E-mail correspondence went fast and efficient. The interior of the rooms/bathroom is a little outdated(1980-1985), but everything is spotless clean. We had room nr2, (no balcony, private toilet/bathroom opposite of the corridor). If you can, try to get one of the rooms with a balcony (ie number 1). Breakfast is included and very good with... This pension is good value for money. The rooms are clean and adequate as is the bathroom, the downside is that the pension is in need of a makeover. Breakfast is typical German and very nice. The owners are helpful and speak good English
