We entered the restaurant by mere chance, because of ideal location over Luberon countryside. Usually this type of setting offers average food. Instead we were highly surprised by quality of menu (limited choice but genuine and very tasty!), and kindness of personnel - as a matter of fact the owner himself and his wife as chef in the cuisine. A wonderful couple! Thanks to both of them! Ralph and Nadia, Milan, Italy.

I’ve often wondered when reading reviews how the same hotel can be 5* to some and 1* to someone else! This is a good example. The rooms are ok if you simply want a place to sleep. Views are lovely but one doesn’t spend much time on the balcony nor were the chairs comfortable. This place is ok for the backpacker or very budget traveler. I’m now a 3* girl! Would have been more acceptable if the host was friendly but he was not. Wouldn’t even phone a taxi for us! Narrow, rickety staircase. OK for small suitcases but challenging for our full size cases.

Stayed at this 2Star hotel as we were on a walking holiday through Provence for 5 days. The hotel manger/owner(?) was very unfriendly when we first arrived, had to knock on all the locked doors for several minutes before anyone answered and then it was an inconvenience for them. We were given a key and the room wa pointed to us. Uncomfortable beds, leaky shower, and a very strange set up in the hotel room. We were told when we asked about dinner that the chef had left so there was no ‘dinner’ and only a small breakfast was provided. The good point - great views from our balcony over the city as you are at the top of the town when staying here. Would NOT recommend this hote to anyone.

A very reasonable and friendly place to stay. Then newly renovated rooms in this old hotel have modern, very clean bathrooms, are air-condition and many of the rooms have views of the valley and Mount Ventox. Several also have balconies with that view. The restaurant is wonderful with fresh products (I actually saw the fish being delivered for the evening meal) and the same wonderful view as the rooms. We have stayed at the hotel many times over the last 19 years.

Probably the best stay we had on our trip around Provence! Small hotel, a bit "rustic" but clean and everything works. Narrow stairs to the rooms so if you have heavy or big bags, you will have to work for it. However, if you get one of the rooms on the top with a terrace...then you'll realize that it is worth it! We got one of the terrace rooms and the view is mindblowing! Parking is on the street and I always found a spot so not that crowded. Also, for 8€ you get a better-than-average french breakfast served in the restaurant which has just as an amazing view as the top floor rooms. And, DO eat dinner at the hotel. The food is a-m-a-z-i-n-g! Top class for a reasonable price. Lots of good, local wine as well. Finally - the staff! Friendly and welcoming. Knowing their trade and the food on the menu and very, very helpful. Loved the place! Highly recommended!
