Easy walk to the port and most of the town. Though very French which I usually like, other points mark this down. Spoke only French, stairs were cantilevered and almost spiral with no handrail on one side in places, all of which made carrying cases very difficult especially if of limited mobility. I paid for car parking but it did... More

Situated very close to the beach with nice restaurants nearby. The hotel is a little tired, we were in an adjoining building, very dark stairway. The room was spacious and clean. The shower was very poor. Breakfast was to a good standard for the money. Palais Benedictine is definitely worth a visit, beautiful building and the B & B is... More

Got room 25 on third floor with partial sea view, pretty comfortable, clean and pleasantly decorated, bed and shower particularly good. Wi-Fi and many TV channels didn’t work the first evening, but the following morning all was back to normal again. As many old french hotels, this one is very badly soundproof, my neighbours weren’t especially a nuisance, but I... More

Stopped for one night on a motorcycle tour. The hotel offered locked parking for the bikes, which always fills you with confidence. The lady on reception was very friendly and, having ordered two rooms in (what I thought was quite a decent attempt at) French, she kindly offered to continue in English. This is always helpful, although never, in my... More

As with other reviews about this place mostly positive, stayed here between the 20th and 23rd august 2013. Set back from the main front at Fecamp. We stayed in room at the top with a sea view which was nice. Stairway very steep and dark so be careful if room is up above. Staff ok but not falling over themselves... More

We stopped here for two nights and would consider it to be a bit of a find. The lady at reception was most pleasant, despite our attempts at French [ always a good thing to try] and spoke very good English to our embarrasment. Nevertheless we were checked into a lovely, airy twin room with a seperate bathroom and seperate toilet.... More

It's an old place which has been well renovated. We enjoyed a view on the sea from the window of our room as this hotel is very near the sea-side. We can have breakfast or not and there is a creperie and some restaurants close the hotel. Sea, harbour and town centre are really not far from that place! BUT,... More

We visited in late September and suspect that it might be a lot noisier during the tourist season. Good sized clean room and large bathroom. Found it to be a pleasant place with helpful staff and would certainly stay there again.

The hotel was OK. Typically french so clean and charming but at the same time very very basic. It has a nice pub downstairs where you can drink and eat, but for the rest there is not a lot to do. Rooms were failry small but OK. Maybe the fact that the wheather was appalling the weekend we visited influences... More

My husband and I stayed at this quaint hotel for one night and found it a very pleasant experience. The room was on the 2nd floor (no lift) and was bright and clean with a good sized bathroom. A very traditional French hotel room that made a welcome change from the characterless chains. There was a lovely sea view. Its... More
