We spent three comfortable nights in this hotel while touring by car and cycling in the Pyrenees. Poor reviews made us a little anxious but there was nothing to worry about. The manager was welcoming and communicative, speaking good English. Staff were all helpful. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed one evening meal there. Our modern room in the rear annexe was clean and comfortable, and had views of the mountainside.

We just spent 2 nights in this hotel and were annoyed from the beginning : we had to wait 10min at the reception because nobody was there for check-in. The only employee who was there spoke only spanish and did not offer anything to drink. The room was not what we call "clean" (hair in the sink and bed sheet, dry soap stain) Information card in the room outdated since 2011. Inroom phone and TV not working Breakfast:very poor...no plate to eat, fruit salad smelled horrible and also outdated the first day, we told the employee but we found the same salad the next day. Overall the hotel needs to enhance its quality and hospitality by far

The location is fine - even has a river flowing past it, but the fabric of the main hotel is a bit shabby and surroundings don't seem to be well cared for. Having said that we stayed in a fairly new annexe and the room was both warm and comfortable with a particularly good shower! I suspect our view of the levels of service would have been better if we were more fluent in French because the staff speak relatively little English. But it wasn't easy ordering drinks and as reception wasn't open when we had to leave about 7:30 a.m. we had to phone the manager who misinterpreted our message about breakfast (I said we'd had no breakfasts but he assumed I was only referring to the morning of departure when breakfast wasn't possible anyway since the restaurant didn't open till 8 a.m.). I only raised the issue of breakfasts because I saw our bill sitting openly on top of a scruffy pile of papers on the reception desk and could see they'd charged for breakfast every day of our stay. Fortunately we;d booked through Booking.com who sorted this out efficiently after we left. We couldn't get into our preferred restaurant one night so decided to eat in with several guests. The food wasn't even average - two of us had steaks which we'd ordered medium but they were overcooked with no hint of redness and too tough to bother with. Fortunately we'd ordered two very nice bottles of Madiran though we did have to pay 32 euros each for them - so no problems with the wine list as far as we were concerned.

Staff were extremely polite, friendly and professional. Family room a good size and clean. The bathroom was clean, spacious and modern. Menu in the restaurant was ok. The hotel is well situated, in the centre of the town and good as a base so you can explore The Pyrénées. The sound of the river was really nice to go to sleep to.

We stayed at the Hotel De Londres during a 4X4 trip through the Spanish and french Pyrenees. The hotel was O.K. but not much m,ore than that. Our room was small and crammed. The bathroom was tiny. The Wifi was very weak/slow. We had dinner at the hotel which was mediocre. The room was clean, which is always nice, but other than that, this hotel is nothing to write home about. O.K. Hotel. Nothing Special.
