Wonderful stay at Manoir de la Malartrie , My wife and myself came for 4 nights to this amazing place. Not only the premises is so pampering, we got to know Ouafaa and her family. Big gift. Nothing stands on her way to please the guests. It is shown all over. She is a very good cook, and an excellent... More

We spent an outstanding 4 nights, and Ouafaa and her husband couldn't have been better hosts. The grounds and lodging are lovely, and it's central position in the beautiful Dordogne Valley is perfect. Vezac is right on the edge of La Roque-Gageac, and it was an easy 5-10 minute walk along a pedestrian path to get to the town. We... More

The view from our immense terrace over the Dordogne (and back to the cliffs) was a perfect end to our month in France. We had the Malartrie room with a 40' or larger terrace and furniture, a smallish room but with such great views we would book it again in a minute. The bathroom in this room is upstairs (could... This place is perfect. We had no complaints in any way. The hosts were fantastic and the grounds and hotel beautiful as the surroundings. The breakfast was worth the extra charge. This was the best service we've ever had in France and maybe the bed service we've had in the entire world of our travels. Within 20 minutes of arrival.... More

Enjoyed 3 nights at the manoir. The hostess, Ouafaa, could not have been more accomidating. Every morning she prepared an extensive, delicious breakfast. Every detail was perfect. The rooms were impeccably clean and our room, the Castelnaud was very large. I would call it a suite actually. We would walk into town along a trail every evening for dinner. The... More

We loved our stay here. The views, pool area, lovely walk into the local village along a quiet path and the breakfast in the morning. A very warm welcome and could not recommend more highly if you want simple elegance on the Dordogne River. Would suggest getting here early and relaxing by the pool.
