We stayed for 4 nights in September, when the complex was quite empty and therefore pleasantly calm and quiet. The self-catering apartment was very compact but well designed and clean. Functional but definitely not luxurious.
They are obviously geared to the family market with a cot, high chair and baby bath provided. Since it was towards the end of the season, the restaurant seemed to have limited opening hours and there were no kids club / entertainment activities.
The pool looked nice with only a few people using it. WiFi was free but the connection was only available in the reception and bar areas. Staff were friendly and spoke good English.
To walk to the village of Vieux-Boucau around the edge of the lake took about 25 minutes. It is a laid-back little place with a good selection of restaurants and a market. The beach and dunes are wonderfully empty with the softest golden sand. Overall a relaxing area to explore, especially at this time of year. More
