We stayed one night but we wished we stayed longer!!! Not far from Durbuy it was the perfect location because it is near a river and you can enter the river via the backyard of the hotel ! We did some walks nearby. Very nicely decorated rooms, great host made you feel like at home and the breakfast was superb!

Thank you very much for this nice review. It's true that staying along the river is a privilege! It's a great place for fishing with our private licence from the end of March till end of September, for playing with the kids, looking after some crayfish in the river "Aisne" or for staying in the sunny garden, reading with the... Located in a small, quiet, clean village in the Aisne valley Chez Tante Alice is a wonderful place to stay - the building is a converted farmhouse with a sizeable garden that leads down to the banks of the (small) River Aisne. The whole building (including the guest rooms) is finished to a very high standard and very clean. As... More

I would rather keep this place a secret. The room we had was very beautiful and quiet. The bath was great. Marie-France and Didier are great hosts. They really make you feel at home. The breakfast was the best in ages! With homemade marmelade by Marie-France! Check the pictures or go there yourself and check it out. We loved the... More

I spent one night with my husband and our son of four years at Chez Tante Alice. We had a beautiful stay there. The house is beautifully renovated and there is a nice atmosphere. We had a problem with our car and Marie-France was so kind to offer us to stay in the house till the problem was solved. She... More

It was an absolute delight to stay with Marie-France & Didier at Chez Tante Alice. Our visit began with a warm welcome, and finished with a goodbye hug........and in between was perfect ! Marie-France was a superb hostess, willingly providing advice and imparting a wealth of local knowledge. Marie-France went out of her way to make special arrangements & reservations... More

My partner Cate and I spent two nights at Chez Tante Alice, November 7-8th 2014. In a word: exquisite. Beyond our expectations. We were warmly welcomed by Marie-France and Didier. This is a lovely place to stay for a few days while exploring the villages and hiking trails of the Ardennes. It is centrally located, but away from the crowds. We really appreciated the maps and advice given by Marie-France, her recommendations for hikes, driving itineraries and restaurants were all spot on. Our room was spacious, clean, charming, and comfortable,... More

We spent just one night at Chez Tante Alice this time, and wished it could have been two - or three, or four! Our room on the ground floor was just as nice as our favourite one upstairs - super comfy bed, excellent bathroom, beautifully decorated. The stars of breakfast are Marie-France's home-made jams - there are so many yummy... More

We stayed here for two nights and loved the atmosphere and the lovely host and hostess of the B&B. the rooms were clean and sparsely decorated. The bathroom was quite large and equipped with the amenities you would expect. The breakfast consisted mostly of breads and fresh fruit as well as hard boiled eggs and their homemade jams.
