Did a off-season visit to this hotel. My wife and I took a mini vacation. First the good points. The hotel served Excellent dinners / breakfasts and the service was great . The pool and the Sauna were nice. The check in process was professional and the receptionist gave us information on the surrounding area. Now the bad. The room... More

Stayed there for 2 Weeks for the Music In the Alps Festival. It was a beautiful hotel. The staff was extremely courteous and the property was immaculate. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning next year!

The hotel is located in a fabulous location in Bad Gastein.I'm sure the view from the window will not leave anyone indifferent. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. There are excellent meals for any taste. And most important - it is a very quiet hotel, only to hear the waterfall, which flows nearby. It's fine! I... More

As a leader of huge group I was very satisfied with all the help of the people in reception, with general manager and with the staff in restaurant. I didn't mind I didn't have balcon because the rooms with no balcon have the awesome view on the mountains, the hotels aroud and the valley. And the window in my room... More

We were intrigued by the great price offer on this hotel as it was a 4* with Pool & Sauna. Rooms are comfortable although a bit dated, bathrooms are really clean & new and after a full ski day nothing is better than going at the spa & pool. Breakfast was really great as well. However, the hotel is in... More

Stayed here in early January, 2016. Not a great year for skiing so enjoyed the indoor amenities — especially the indoor spa pool. The staff takes great pride in their Austrian menu and their very clean hotel. We especially loved the breakfast buffet. The entire staff was gracious and kind to Americans who speak no German. Loved the old world... More

We stayed here during Easter for 7 days. The hotel may once have been eligible for a four star rating, but we suspekt that there are new owners, with a main focus of cost contiousness. All amenities in the rooms are gone. No minibar, no bath accessories except shower gel, no bathrobes etc. The breakfast buffet is okay, however the... More

On arrival you see the facade of a great old style hotel. The greeting was true and warm from Evelyn the most friendly of all receptionists, in her traditional Trachten wear. The bedrooms are comfortable, warm and clean. Breakfast is more than sufficient, although there was a bizarre system with green signs for free tables, which did not always work,... More

Hotel is situated near the famous waterfall of Bad Gastein, is not far away from ski center (also, hotel offers shuttle bus to go up to the hill), interior is beautiful... I especially enjoyed hot wine which they distribute ~4-5pm. Wi-fi though is not very good sometimes inside the rooms.
