If you stay at this hotel, make sure you have dinner in the hotel's restaurant! An amazing five-course dinner is served daily, with a large charcuterie and salad buffe, followed by soup and a main course (fish, meat or veg), then a nice cheese buffet and dessert! The dining rooms are very fancy, with a view over the mountains and lots... More

This is my third stay at Salzburger Hof and I will definetly go back. Slopes and offpiste is great. I have been several trips to the alps each season the last ten years, an this hotel is one of the best. The food, the atmosphere and the lovely spa area is great. Salzburger Hof in Bad Gastein has charm that is difficult to build, if the hotel doesn't have one ready. I travelled with the family (2 adults and 4 kids, ages 1, 7, 10 and 12) for one week in Feb 2016. We stayed in a family room, which was functioning well for our group. Breakfast and dinner were included and... More

This hotel is situated at the perfect distance from everything lifts , afterski and so on Rooms are normal / small but well kept and nice. Did the half term ski week with a group of around 30 people, ages from 5 to 60. The hotel was absolutely great, just great. Happy and hugely helpful staff, beautifully clean and shiny everywhere, and excellent food for all tastes and diets. Lovely bar to hang out in for gentle apres and laid back nightcaps, and if you want... More

I have stayed at the Salzburger Hof several times and it is a great hotel. Very close to the lift station and you can also leave skies and boots to the station. After skiing they serve some snacks at the hotel's restaurant so that you don't have to wait for dinner, which is great. The Spas are high quality. The... More

We booked this hotel after several DYI skiing trips over the years with the hope of having to do as little as possible ourselves and were not disappointed. The room, spa areas, saunas, bar, location and service, not to mention the delicious buffet breakfasts and five course dinners which were included in our half board, were all top notch. The... More

Nice and clean room with comfortable beds. Lots of good food for breakfast to start a day full of skiing. We stored our skiis by the lift and walked easily the way up to the lift. After a day of skiing we relaxed at our balcony or in the pub with a beer and some snacks. It was nice to... More
