I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. The setting is wonderful. The breakfast is a nice traditional Central American style buffet. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are very pretty and comfortable. The pool area is nice and relaxing. Overall it is a great place!

first time in granada and staying in granada hotel. Great pool, very sad disappointing room, overpriced, poor breakfast and very slow service wherever you go. A lost place in a beautiful town. I really expected so much more from this. Who is responsible for such a bad taste? This hotel is situated in a colonial town and that means there... More

We recently has the pleasure of spending a couple of nights at Hotel Granada. It was wonderful. I didn't get a chance to try the hot water, which is turned on as another reviewer noted from under the sink, since I actually don't use hot water when in warm places like this. what I can tell you that is that... I was at a loss for understanding the deep division between the reviews on this hotel. I polled many of the 25 travelers in my group to see if there was a split in perspective, and for those polled, we all agree: this is a 4- or 5-star hotel, and provided a wonder-filled stay. Here's what we experienced: a classic,... More

I recently stayed at The Hotel Granada and found it lovely. The staff was all friendly and helpful, my room was gorgeous and had AC that worked quite well. My room was meticulously cleaned every day, sheets were nice, all cotton. The pool was gorgeous and clean, I loved swimming in it. I have traveled quite a bit in Central... More

First, the good parts: The hotel is very quaint, in a good location in Granada. The staff is very friendly and nice. I did not experience any bedbugs, as a previous reviewer had described. That's about it. I had an AC unit in my room, the maid showed me how to use it. But it just circulated the air. I... More

I ended up at Hotel Granada with my exchange group when we traveled to Nicaragua to renew our Costa Rica tourist visas. It was all pre-arranged, and we had no idea where we were being put up until we arrived. When we pulled up to the hotel, we were amazed at how beautiful the location was, and the overall atmosphere... More

Front entrance and lobby area were beautiful and the front desk agent was friendly. The bellman? who brought our luggage to our room was not and didn't even look at me let alone thank me when I gave him $5 for helping with the luggage. The room was very dark and not much lighting is available. The bathroom was dirty... More

Stayed for 2 nights as a break from budget accommodation, and lived to regret it. Great pool, but I was not told the surrounding area was under renovation, cue building work noise all day and workmen leering poolside. The room was ok for the money but I found I was covered in bites the next day.. Looks like bed bugs.... More
